It is not often that you meet someone who can do a fantastic job, who is patient and accommodating at the same time. Katrina is very professional and knows all about nails. Her acrylic pink and whites are always flawless and I have never had a problem. She is meticulous in her work and she also does nail art. She might be a little higher in price but she uses the top of the line products. I would highly recommend her. The salon is very warm and friendly. Eric is made of magic and glitter. I can't say enough amazing things about him! But it isn't just Eric, everyone at the salon was kind and supportive and just overall wonderful. I was REALLY nervous about having my platinum touched up because I have had numerous bad experiences at other salons. Eric had to talk me into taking my hat off and I was full blown prepared to go "nevermind, I'm good." and run out the door with my hideous brassy regrowth. But oh no, that sweet wizard of hair magic put me at ease immediately and made me laugh the entire service.After my color was done he showed me around the salon and I left feeling more gorgeous than I have in a long time. Everyone complimented me and were genuinely kind. So not only did he give me gorgeous hair, but he made me FEEL gorgeous. One of the best in Tucson! Katie was my expert stylist color guru. She truly is amazing. She has left the Salon due to a change in location.So made an appointment with someone else, that Katie suggested. Hair cut, actually a trim and PARTIAL highlights. Both times I was charged for full highlights! My whole head was not covered with foils? After the second appointment again being charged for full highlights, I left with the feeling of being taken advantage of. The stylist was also always compensated with a 20 % gratuity. I find this practice highly unethical without consulting the customer. Once is ok, however a reoccurrence of this is in my estimation is not the way to treat a Good customer. I've been so busy that I haven't been able to get my hair done. I really wanted to darken my hair up and get rid of the balayage that I had. My friends "urged" (OK...more like heavily insisted) that I use their hair stylist, Katie. I mean, if 5 different friends are recommending the same person then that's when you listen right? ;) Katie was wonderful! She's very friendly and really easy to talk to; my hair came out exactly how I wanted it. I was so glad that my hair process was a 2-step process because it entailed my hair getting washed twice, and it felt so relaxing! The pricing is decent and I received a welcome bag just for being a first time client. TIP: Try to not bring kids/significant others! Unfortunately, they don't have additional chairs or space in the back area to accommodate them. Plus, it'll probably be more relaxing not having to worry about them. I came here for a haircut with Katie... now, I hadn't gotten my hair cut in over a year (and it showed). I sat down with Katie, asked her to make me look good but to keep it low-maintenance, and goodness gracious did she deliver. By the time I left, not only did my hair look great, I was relaxed and had thoroughly enjoyed my entire time. Katie knows how to keep the conversation going and truly made me feel at home. I cannot attest to the rest of the facilities, but the entire place was clean, relaxing, and friendly. I came in here for a facial. I have been getting black heads on my face and decided it was time to treat myself. I came in not knowing exactly what to expect. My facial was 45 minutes and it was so perfect. She also massaged my neck, shoulders, and face. It was really relaxing. Marcela was my aesthetician and she did an amazing job. I see Katie at Salon Nouveau.  I've lived in big cities...and I truly believe she's the best hairstylist I've ever had!  She's fantastic at color (my hair has red in it so it's very easy to either make it brassy orange or bleach it to platinum which always makes me anxious about trying out new stylists), giving cuts that are stylish plus grow out beautifully.Personally, she's also the friendliest and sweetest person, but HONEST which means she won't steer you into something that wouldn't be flattering on you. The woman who helped me was very nice and thoughtful.The decor and set up at this salon is very nice and comfortable.After all compare to other places in town it might be a bit pricier than traditional nail salon but its worth it. I have been going to Salon de Nouveau for years and have had only pleasant experiences for waxing with Alyssa. The  other experiences not so much.The haircuts - two of the worst hair cuts ever! The first time, they literally cut all of my hair off. I asked for short layers, but to keep the overall length.  I wore glasses at the time (if you met me pre-lasik, you know what my coke bottle bottoms looked like) and I could not see what the stylist was doing until she was like ok put your glasses on! Tada! I earned the nickname baldylocks.  My shoulder length hair was not a pixie cut and there was nothing I could do about it. My hair grows really slow so this was an extremely traumatic experience. The next time was three years later, I saw a more experienced stylist who was highly recommended and honestly she made me feel so uncomfortable.  She was silent the entire time. No conversation, she tugged at my hair and I had a pounding headache by the time I left. It was terrible.  The mani/pedi  This was more of a cuticle push with polish.  There was no trimming and the manicurist was just not pleasant.  It was over priced for what I received. One time was more than enough. Why did I keep going back? No, I'm not a masochist, I just couldn't understand how a place that employed my beloved aesthetician could have some many employees who were just sub par. Alyssa was this salons best kept secret-- in a sense.  She wasn't a secret, but it was a pleasant surprise to any one I referred. Even those who had visiting the salon before, but never seen her for a service.  She was always so nice, happy and eager to make you happy and your skin beautiful.  She able to my tame my unsightly super thick, but sparse brows and make them pretty. I referred so many friends and family members to her and every single one of them was pleased. I recently called to make one of four random appointments per year and earned that she recently moved to M Salon.I'm sorry, but she was the reason I kept coming back and tried other services. I must say that it is time bid Salon Nouveau adieu for services.  They do, however, sell Bumble and Bumble products, so I may see them a time or two in the future.  Maybe you will have better luck, if you do, please share! I moved to Tucson without any clue on where to go for a bikini wax. After trying other salons (and having not so great experiences), I was blown away not only with this salon's professionalism, but also customer service. I get a bikini wax regularly with Lisa, and she is great--especially if it is your first time getting one, I recommend her. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of work from Lisa and what I observed from the rest of the staff. Every experience continues to be painless and fast (which is great for bikini waxes). The fact that it is a bikini wax may put the client in an awkward/uncomfortable place, but Lisa is so professional that I have never felt uncomfortable or uneasy. Read Less

So, all I got there was mani/pedi. I thought for the price I paid, I was getting great service. The nails are not well polished and it took me forever to let my nails grow to the point of filing them square and the lady rounded them up. You can see clear faults on the polish and she took 2 hrs to get mani/pedi done. She talked a lot and talked with her hands, so she couldn't work and talk at the same time. I recently experienced a 'soothing session' at the salon with Sonya. I was exhausted from painting and cleaning our rental property and needed to relax. Sonya worked her magic and and I enjoyed every minute of my 55 minute massage with lovely aromatic oils which hydrated my very dry skin. My haircut is one area in my life where I will absolutely NOT make compromises!! I may do without other things or combine trips to save $ on errands.....but I have always looked for and only settled for a great. I split my time between Tucson and California; how I dreaded being able to find a stylist/salon here in Tucson. A girlfriend here recommended Salon De Nouveau and Debbie Lynn specifically. From that first cut (two years ago) I knew I had found the perfect person/shop for me!! Not only is this the salon that several of the anchors from KVOA come to for their cuts, but they also support several of the local charities. I feel very pampered and special when I'm there and I have never, ever gotten anything but great service. Trust me, since I live almost 22 miles from the salon (Tucson is so very spread out!), I wouldn't stay with this salon if I didn't truly feel it is the very best. It is located near Ft. Lowell and Campbell; my advice is to take the day and visit the many shops that are within a mile or two from the salon, as well as several great places to eat lunch. I went into this salon (not something I normally do) to pick up an emergency gift certificate for my wife. Im a barber shop kinda guy, so i was surprised to find that i was immediately made comfortable by the receptionist, who smiled and welcomed me. When I said I wanted a gift for my wife, she had suggestions, ranging from products to gift certificates. When I said a gift card would be best, she let me know they were running a special, and I bought my wife a $125 gift card. My wife was thrilled with the gift and got a facial, and a pedicure. Although the salon has been in Tucson for many years, I had never been there until recently. I was pleasantly surprised by the charm of the salon facility and the services I received. I have enjoyed working with my stylist who has taken the time to know my likes and dislikes and who remembers that I like my bangs cut a certain way even though she might really want to cut them a different way. After many years of going to a salon that booked as many clients in an hour as possible and where sometimes 3 or 4 different people would be involved in one visit for a cut and color, I have enjoyed and appreciated that the stylists here book only one client for the time slot necessary for the services desired and take the time necessary to get to know their client and to give them a satisfying experience. I hope to try many of the other services offered by the salon and anticipate more enjoyable experiences there. Read Less

I have had the pleasure of visiting the salon twice over the past 3 months. I had never been there before, but it was recommended by a friend since I was new to Tucson and looking for a new stylist. From the time I made the appointment on the phone to the time I left after receiving a shampoo, cut & style, I was treated with courtesy from a cheering staff. The male receptionist took all necessary information, repeated it back to confirm it was accuate. Upon arrival, I was greeted by name, offered a cold beverage (choice of soda, water, etc.) and barely sat down when I was greeted by the stylist who I had not yet met. She warmly introduced herself and gave me a tour of the facility since I had not been there before. She was competent and patient as we discussed what I wanted done and she made sure she had a full understanding before she preceeded. I was so pleased with the experience and care I was given that I have gone back a second time and received the same warm treatment as the first. I was impressed that a file had been kept on me and the stylist even knew what products I had purchased the time before and asked how I liked them. I have not used the spa or nail services as of yet, but plan to in the near future. The price of the service was well within the average of most salons, $35. Read Less
