The shop is very clean and staff is friendly, but I've had much better mani/pedi elsewhere. The tech cut me 3 times, missed places with polish, cut a large piece of nail off the corner of my toenail. No attention to detail. Won't be going back again. Read Less

I love Fini's! They are very accommodating and always have a smile! My nails always look great and I have a smile on when I leave. I appreciate that Tommy makes sure my nails are short enough, as I work on a computer and don't like the 'click click' on the keyboard. I went in today, on a Sunday, and Tommy's wife did beautiful artwork on my nails to celebrate Valentine's. So sweet! I had been going here since I moved to this area and always had Kenny.  About a month ago I called to make an appointment with Kenny.  I showed up, was taken to the pedicure chair and a woman sat down to go my nails.  I explained my appointment was with Kenny and she told me he was on vacation which was irritating not to be told that when I made my appointment. When I was ready to leave and paid I noticed a small sign in the counter that said, "under new management" and I was charged $45 for a mani/pedi instead of my usual $40.  I asked about that and when Kenny would be back and she acted like she had no idea what I was asking (her English is tough to u detest and so maybe she really didn't understand me).  I made another appointment with Kenny went back in and was told he's on vacation yet again.   Apparently these are new owners so why not just say that?  Why let people make appointments with owners who no longer own the place and then say they're on vacation?  Also their website still shows the lower price.  They should either take the website down or update the prices.  I've had the woman both times and she seems to want to just take off polish, massage your feet and polish ... you have to tell her to cut your nails or clean up your cuticles.  Both times she seems to be using the thick /rough nail files you normally see used on fake nails which has made my nails jagged and sharp.Long story short I'll find a new nail salon and won't be back.  Don't lie, overcharge, and do a subpar job if you want customers to return ... three strikes. First, Kenny and Helen are exceptionally nice people and their pricing is very fair. My wife, daughter and I have been clients for more than 4 years and get our manicure/pedicures their every 2 to 3 weeks. I received a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure from my children. I had the pedicure last summer and did not have time for the manicure. The woman owner said that she would remember that I was still owed the manicure and that I did not need a document as proof. She would not forget. A year later--now--I called to ask for that manicure. I made the mistake of thinking it was a facial--manicure/facial...I rarely have that luxury so it's almost the same to me. The woman was angry that I said "facial" and said they don't do facials. Then her voice quickened in a shouting like voice asking me when I wanted to have the manicure. "Friday, Saturday? When?!" I said," what time do you have for Saturday?" She then shrilled at me, "you don't know when you want to have the appointment?!" Clearly, we were having a miscommunication. Usually I ask for availability and then choose a time based on that, but I decided it was not worth trying to explain that to her. She was impatient, so I gave her a time. She said okay and then I hung up, still feeling this woman's wrath lingering. After 10 minutes and speaking to my son, I decided it wasn't worth going there and being treated with that type of attitude, which could be reflected in the service. I called Finis nail spa back and cancelled my appointment. The same lady answered and she sounded pleased for the cancellation. As far as I'm concerned, I'm "Finis" with ever going back to this place. Responding to a customer in an angry tone while not completing the promised service is detrimental in a service industry.Read Less

Friendly, excellent, reasonable prices, very clean! I usually use my own tools but I didn't with them because I trusted how well they clean their equipment. It's a family owned and operated business, which means better customer service. Walked in without an appointment and waited less than 2 minutes to be seen. Parking is free and open. Jimmy worked on me and he is very detailed and thorough from cleaning to polish. Highly recommend. So happy they're only up the block from me! Read Less

This place was terrible. I came here because my regular place across the street (Canyon Nails, which is amazing) did not have any open availability. I got an eyebrow wax and spa pedicure. The woman that did my eyebrows was very friendly and did a great job. Since the eyebrows were first to be done on my visit I felt very good that the pedicure would follow with the same kind of service. It did not. I was rushed through the pedicure in about 20 minutes. I felt like the man doing my pedicure did not spend very much time on my nails or feet. He was rough while doing the filing and cuticles, and in about 5-7 minutes he was already preparing to do the massage. (Let me point out that while I do not like to be forced into upselling, I like to know if there are extra options, such as a sugar scrub or hot towels. Today I was treating myself for my birthday and definitely would have spent the extra money to have the whole experience. Nothing of the sorts was ever offered to me.) As he started to massage my left leg it felt great and I thought to myself that even if the rest of the pedicure was great, maybe the massage could make up for it. Well that didn't happen either. About a minute into the massage a teenage boy came in and took over the rest of the appointment. Switching technicians in the middle of a massage does not only ruin the relaxation of the whole moment, but it makes a customer feel like you don't care to finish the job. The boy did a terrible job with the massage. Not knowing how long the other gentleman had spent on my left leg he immediately moved to my right leg, where he did not once touch my actual foot. He rubbed my leg for a few minutes then moved to paint my nails. During the very short and completely unrelaxing massage, he was very chatty. While I welcome friendly small talk, chatting my ear off during a massage while I've got my eyes closed and head laid back is not welcome.I asked the boy to double check for any ingrown nails on my big toes and he told me I should have told the other guy while my feet were in the water. Well ya know what?? Maybe he should have thought to check that himself. It's part of your job to go through all of those steps. The boy didn't care to fix the issue with my nails so I told him not to bother. The only bonus to the pedicure is that he did a good job with the polish.Today was a special treat for me. I work on my feet for a living, plus I'm pregnant, plus it was my birthday present to myself, and I regret even walking into that place. My mother and I received a gift certificates for Christmas and one certificate got into the wrappings of Christmas cheer and off to the land fill.  Since we had the certificate number and proof of purchase we didn't think anything about it.Today, we went to get our treatments and the owner would not respect the gift certificate and reported, "someone else could come in and use the gift certificate and we would not know it!" He went on the report they don't check the gift certificate numbers and he would not honor mine, nor did it say on the gift certificate "not refundable if lost."So needless to say I will not be going back the spa, I feel it's short sided on the owners part and along with risky business practices. Nothing quite compares to sitting in a massaging chair while you are having your feet pampered. I saw this place on sabino canyon road while running by. I called ahead and they were able to fit me right in. This place is definitely a step above your regular nail salon, with nice furnishings inside and a regular spa pedicure running $25. I upgraded to the deluxe pedicure which added on a salt/sugar scrub and a yummy peppermint foot mask then hot towels are wrapped around your feet while they massage your legs. Awesome. I highly recommend the nail tech Vee, she was super sweet and was very good (side note:nothing worse than going for a relaxing pedicure and having a nail tech cut ur cuticles too short. Ouch) anyways, no worries for that here. They are open 9am-7 pm Mon-Fri and 12-5 on Sundays. I think I found my little gem in sabino canyon! Read Less
