I got a pink and white back fill. Looks ok, but my nails still hurt the day after and my regular nail is already peeling underneath. She put the glue on the new growth but not the old shaved down layer. I am already worried it's going to break now. Another girl walked in during mine who had broken a nail after just getting them done the day before, it didn't sound like the first time. They tried to fit her in but basically all the other clients got partial treatments, I would have been very upset had this happened to me after making an appt. Wonderful pedicure but if I could give this place 0 stars I would. For the sole fact that I had my nail polish peeling off from just a swipe of my finger just 30 minutes after leaving. It's cheap and it's rushed. Not worth the money. Within the hour I had to get my acrylics repainted. Read Less

Beautiful, quaint place. I went in during a slow time and i felt thoroughly taken care of. I got a pedicure and acrylic fill and both of my manicurists were super nice and understanding. Another thing is that coming from Texas, these prices are super cheap. A regular acrylic set in texas is $30-35 but here it's only $25. Would definitely recommend this place. Read Less

This is a decent nail and spa salon, my nails got done within the time being. They're a little understaffed. I got gel acrylic with black tips. They did an alright job, wish they would've done another coat of black (it looks darker in the picture). The price for my nails was $45. Staff is extremely friendly. Would probably come here again. This nail salon has a very relaxed atmosphere. I like the lighting, music and vibe, and they recently gave it an updated makeover. It feels calm and serene. Megan is really good for pedicures if you're sensitive and need someone gentle. Cathy did a great job on my nails. She shaped them how I wanted, and even gave my hand and arm a massage when she was done! The only thing is that they charged me extra for matte but didn't say anything about it being an up charge just a surprise at the end. Idk if it is normally an up charge but the place I normally go to doesn't charge extra because it is in place of a top coat. Also they charged me $28 for a basic gel manicure, no design or accent nail, when there is a picture of their menu on here and it says a gel manicure is $25. When I questioned them about it the lady just said no, it's $28. I feel like they acted really shady because someone else paid for my manicure and they were trying to charge her extra because she didn't know what I got. With there being a nail salon on every corner nickel and diming is is a silly reason to lose customers. I'm willing to bet this is not the first time this has happened. Read Less

They are very nice. As a service they were below satisfactory. I got a Pedicure with white tip & white tip regular acrylic. My pedicure started out great, then it got to painting... I had to remind them to file one of my nails again, then they did not buff it. Didn't realize it until they were done. I was then directed to come sit for my full set. I repeated again I wanted gel powder nails...they started to immediately  file my nails. They did not push my cuticles back or any prep work. They asked what shape, I said round.. I got rounded square,I was confused and upset I told her I did not need any top coat or anything!  So here's the problems:1) Did not buff my toe they had to fix (Causing it look streaky and white) 2) Did not follow directions to perform Gel powder 3) Did not perform any prep work on the nail before starting hard application.4) Did not fill entire nail with acrylic.5) Did not follow directions regarding shape.* I will not be returning and will be finding business elsewhere. They just did a remodel - new floors , new chairs, new furniture and product! They have an unbelievable selection of polish. I believe over 1000 all together - in gel and regular polish. The salon is very spacious. You can come in and feel very relaxed. They have and use only the most top of the line products. The pedicure basins are lined before every pedi service and use "pedi kits" (new file, buffer, toe separator, and pumice stone). Overall the salon is very sanitary and immaculately clean. You get what you paid for. Good prices : gel manicure = $28, pedicure starts = $25, full set starts =$28, sns starts = $35. Friendly staff. Starlett Nails were a lifesaver. I needed a mani and pedi before a business trip I was taking in the AM but was leaving my work in North Scottsdale quite later than I normally do in the PM. Lucky for me I found Starlett on Yelp as i preferred a place in Tempe on my way home, and lucky for me they're just down the street from my house. I called them ahead of time to ensure they could fit all 20 nails in before closing and the owner on the phone said yes. Score!So I arrived just as the last client was leaving and escorted to one of the comfy pedi chairs once I picked my colors. Took a few minutes to get the water to an acceptable not-blazing-hot temp before the pedi began. In the meantime the owner started on my finger nails. I asked for their $40 mani/pedi combo because I didn't need the full shebang on my feet (I've given up keeping them nice-ish since I play sand vball). At one point I had the owner doing my mani and a lady doing my feet. That is total customer service! I couldn't have been more greatful for fitting me in last-minute. This is a sincere review, as I do like this place and would like to see it stick around! My friend and I spontaneously went here for a manicure and pedicure. It was close to our homes so we thought we'd give it a shot. The staff is REALLY FRIENDLY! They were so kind and were considerate of all our demands. The color selection is unreal! There is polish everywhere so no need to worry about finding the EXACT color you want. A few things I would recommend to the staff is to go over pricing prior to starting. We got pedicures and they started before we could choose what we had wanted to have done. The owner of the salon is really nice! Slightly pushy and hoovers her team members which I think made them a little uncomfortable or stressed out. For example, my nail tech knew what I wanted but the owner kept asking me over and over what color I had picked and in the miscommunication she had given my nail tech the incorrect base color which he had applied before they realized it was wrong. Luckily he was able to make it work and my nails look great! Also, I've never been told that you can't get the same gel color on your fingers and toes until we went here. My friend had to choose a different color for her toes instead of a matching color. I thought this was odd? However Rose, Ken and Meagan were great. They were horrible. Uneven nails, sloppy, too many coats of polish, kept hitting my nails and messing them up while they were painting other nails, and then instead of fixing them they just half fast went over them, the lines were SLOPPY and they did not use any tools especially for cutting the length of filing. The lady kept criticizing me for the colors I picked and kept suggesting I do something else but I knew exactly what I wanted. She did not even ask me how long I wanted my nails SHE JUST CUT THEM TO HER TASTE WITHOUT ASKING ME. Which resulted in one hand being way shorter than the other. It's so hard to find a nail place that knows what they are doing and you don't have to keep telling them what's wrong and they keep fixing what they are still not understanding is wrong. If I was able to post a picture of my nails you can see the acrylic is still wavey and uneven. Then this place gets me on price, first of all I went in 1 wk prior to have a nail fixed and repowdered and was charged $30 great happy with that then 1 wk later do the same thing but have a little thicker powder and kept getting asked how much other places charged me for my nails not realizing until she is done but fishing to get the highest price i said she charged right away after $45. My nails were done all i asked when i came in was thicker powder that's it. And i had to tell her to even my nails, refile here refile there. Not worth the $ or hassle. Read Less

Waited 30 minutes to sit after being told it would be 10 minutes for a full gel set. Waited an HOUR after being sat, in which time a tech was going to help me but then realized I wanted something she couldn't do...so the waiting continued. Started to consider just doing them myself at home, but FINALLY got waited on. How this place has such a high rating I will never know. Was accused of not telling the girl at the front what I wanted although I MADE sure to considering this isn't my first visit to a salon. The nails are crooked, with thick gel, uneven, feels like the dremel burned my natural nails and the tips have gaps between them and my real nails. I was then charged more than advertised! I spoke w the owner, she and her mother run the nail shop and they're both very nice.  My pedicure was excellent and I choose the paraffin wax as an addition to help my dry feet. I have grown leery of nail shops these days. Many aren't clean and are very suspect. I stir away from one with funny names like Fancy Nails, Cute Nails, Golden Nails, etc. Well I gave Scarlett Nails a try even though the name raised one of my eyebrows. It was a Saturday afternoon and my oldest said Mom lets go get a pedicure my treat, shoot you cant turned that down, right?  She did a quick search and found Starlett Nails and it was close by so it was an easy sale to get me to go. Starlett Nails is a nice salon, clean and opened, and friendly. I did change the deal with my daughter and went for a new set of nails and  I also wanted Gel, and oh my gosh they have every color combo you can think of, and they also do designs as well, yea I am a tad bit fancy haha.I love them! New owners as of 2-3 months ago. I never came previously. I figured I'd come today because their prices are better than the usual place I go, so I wanted to give it a shot! I got a gel polish manicure (& had to have old gel polish removed) and while I can't speak to how long the polish lasts yet, I can say that it was the most meticulous manicure I've ever had! I didn't get the tech's name, but she was GREAT! She paid very careful attention to each nail & literally only had to wipe polish from my finger once. She took her time, which I really appreciated.
