This is a custom nail salon. I'm partial to Q, he is detail oriented. I never walk out less than THRILLED with his work. It's an appt only salon so don't get a wild hair and try to simply walk in. It's quiet, customer centered and worth the price every time.Read Less

This is probably one of the worst pedicures I've had, and for $50, I'm extra displeased. The salon itself needs a lot of interior design work. The furniture is all pretty gross and the whole place could do with a facelift. Everyone was nice enough, but the pedicure wasn't very good. My toes look awful and it's been less than 24 hours. Usually I leave a pedicure untouched for a month, but I can't wait to get out of work today so I can go home and take this polish off and fix it. I won't be back. Read Less

The place was adequate. Fairly clean, nail and pedicure work is okay so far, since I have only had it for 3 days. The owner was the technician working on my nails and feet the day I went in. It was just the owner, one other nail technician in training, and a hair stylist. The owner was constantly on the phone, getting up to help the other technician with his nail work, or handling other things in the shop. I have acrylic nails with gel polish and have been getting my nails done for the last 20 years and so I have seen my share of good shops and nails, really bad shops and nails. My nails from Nails by Males, are done very well. All of my nail technician's filing work and drill work is really well done. The polish job is just as well done. My pedicure was done very well and when I got squirmy because he my right foot is extremely ticklish, my technician just gripped my foot harder and continued right on working. I finally found my new go to nail place! Although it is such a long drive since I am from the west side, it is sooo worth it. It was my first time coming here after the last place I went to did a horrible job. Q did my nails and it was exactly like the picture I showed him and shape I wanted!! It's so hard to find good nail techs that know exactly what you want. He even went as far as cutting my cuticles on my nails! As long as I've been getting my nails done NO ONE has ever done that and I always wonder why?! He was super friendly and I booked with him again for 3 weeks out. Their prices are a little more expensive then your average nailShop because they take their time with you and they don't rush you in and out like a normal nail shop. I definitely recommend! Yaaaasss queen! With that out of the way, I have to say, I absolutely love this place. I came here for the first time (first time ever getting my nails done) in January and have been coming back ever since. I love the people, the vibes, and obviously the end result! Q is an absolute beast, Ty always puts a lot of effort into helping me pick color and style, and all of the ladies here are extremely pleasant and skilled. There aren't any techs I dislike or avoid, and as long as you set an appointment, you never wait. Price is middle of the road, but when you see the quality, it's totally worth it in my opinion. I think to sum it up - these guys are genuinely trying to express their art and share their talents, NOT trying to make a quick buck. I've been other places where they cut corners on the products they use and herd you around to get you in and out at quickly as possible but NBM is the exact opposite. This is the best nail salon I've been to in a very long time. I leave absolutely loving my nails, they are all even in length and shape and the color lasts so long, I've been 3 weeks without a fill and they haven't chipped at all. The prices are pretty reasonable. The only thing that is kind of a bummer is it is sometimes difficult to get an appointment because I think only 2 guys work there. I chose this salon from a list because of the name and previous reviews. Q is funny! He did a great job on my gel polish change, taking his time to do it well. So many places, the techs just rush the work and get you out the door. The space is large and bright, with a really cool floor!
