Seriously don’t waste your time or your money. Their unsanitary and the guy who did my nails was super rude. Kept telling me what I should do with my nails, used the little fan to dry them, applied the 2nd coat of nail polish before the 1st was done drying and then told me I could go even though my nails weren’t dry whatsoever. I even told him they weren’t done yet But he kept insisting they were. As soon as I went to go pay the polish smudged. My nails look worse coming out then going in. Didn’t think that was possible. If I could give 0 stars I would for thos place. Worst service ever! I asked for a full set gel colored tips and they did not use gel! The manager was the first person to do my nails and he messed up bad. The lines were super uneven and like i said he used regular crapy nail polish not gel! I asked to have them fixed and another staff member tried to fix them bit her hair kept getting in the polish and left lines! My boyfriend and infant son were waiting and after 2 hours they looked good at first. After the polish was dry i reached into my jacket pocket and the zipper chipped off polish. 4 stars because my brows (the only reason I go to a salon) always come out incredible!! I drive from central Phoenix to Tempe every time I need my brows done. The lady who does them for me is always kind, polite and fast. She does exceptional work! But the rest of the staff is barbaric, often shouting at or insulting me. If not for her I would never visit this business again. You have a great location and often there's a line to be seen by a stylist. I can only assume Nail Time & Wax does very well. I don’t think I saw one clean tool...the lady literally pulled out a pencil box that was FILTHY filled with dirty tools. Then used them on me..saw a guy come grab a tool she just used on me and then used it on someone else without cleaning it...the color I chose on my ring finger was COMPLETELY different than what I got and the only response was “at least it’s only one finger”......I will not be back Read Less

LET ME FIRST SAY THAT I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. If I could, I would have given them no star but unfortunately that's not an option. On Tuesday" Nov 7, 2017, I went to nail time and wax to get a pedicure, the pedicure I chose should have cost 25.00. I gave the tech 40.00 in the form of 2 twenties. Next, I waited for my change which took a long time. So I asked the manager, where is my change, she replied, "the tech/thief said you gave her a twenty and a five, whi...ch was a bold face lie. I argued repeatedly with these people while they continued to lie. One of the male techs decided he would check the cameras, and reported that the bills were too small to see. The tech/thief who did my pedicure continued to lie about the amount I gave her, but I later discovered in hind sight is this tech/thief was talking in her language the entire time she was doing my pedicure and no one spoke back to her. This is probably the time in which she plotted to steal my money. I told them I wasn't leaving until they returned my money and that's exactly what happened. I've been going here for pedis and gel manicures for years because it's just down the street from my house. I've tried other places but always come back because it's the cleanest and least expensive. After going to the same place so long, I can say that overall I'm usually happy with the service and the results. Maybe 1 out of 20 times, I'll get someone who's not in a cheerful mood or my nails will be only so-so. I've never had a *bad* experience. Most of the time it's really enjoyable and my nails look great. Lately my big ol' sports jock husband has been coming with me to get a pedicure. I think he really just likes the foot massage and that they'll put the football game on for him. All in all, my favorite nail salon in the Tempe area. Read Less

I love this place. I will never forget how much money they save me each year. I started coming because my old shop went on holiday. Like clockwork, at the old place, I would get a new set 1x a month. NOT here.. For a year, I came every 2 weeks, to get what I thought would be my new set. INSTEAD I got, "Nope, all you need is a fill Honey." I saved like $700. So I stayed. These people care. Never go back rude is not acceptable, act right no need to be ruff. Getting eyebrows waxed is all ready some what painful. But adding slaps and tapping hard on the cloth strips.
