worst nail place I've been to.. I went there on Friday afternoon for my gel manicure. On Sunday night I started to notice the top coat on my little finger was chipping on the tip and peeling off from the bottom. On Wednesday, every one of them was chipping. I decided to go back on Thursday morning to ask them to give me another top coat.. The owner came to me said he would help me to fix it but kept telling me that off course gel can't last long. He tried to convince me that it's vert normal that gel only lasts for a week and sometimes it only lasts for " a couple days". I've been doing gels for a while and I think 1.5-2 weeks should be reasonable. Or why not just do a regular manicure if they only last for a couple days? If the gel is peeling off from the bottom thats because nail polish was touching your skin when they put them on! Plus, when they tried to fix it, they use a drill-like thing to remove the gel partially. Guess what? they drilled a hole on my nail surface! I just noticed that after I removed the gel! Now my nail surface is uneven because it was damaged by them! AND i dont think they sanitized their tools either! At least they just used them directly from the cart. Read Less

I like this place a lot but they’re kind of ridiculous. Once I went in just to fix one of my toenails and the girl told me it was going to be a long wait. She told me to come back the next day. This place is conveniently located close to my route I take from work to home. I live in Gilbert so if I’d come back the next day I’d have to drive 20 min to get a nail fixed. I was desperate to get it fixed because it was New Years weekend. I wasn’t about to wear opened toed shoes wit...h a messed up toenail. So that was one thing that made me put them at 3 stars. I came back and got that fixed. You think that making me come back they would make it be free. No it wasn’t. They made me pay 5 bucks. That wasn’t a problem. I just took that off the tip for the next time. The second occurrence that made me put them at 3 stars was my sns that is supposed to last 4 to 6 weeks only lasted 2. My pointer finger and my middle finger cracked and broke off. Of course I went after work and since they do take a while I decided to make an appointment. I waited like 10 min. He did it in between other ppl and it took an hour to get 2 nails fixed. I was already upset because it’s supposed to last 4 to 6 weeks. Of course I’m not going to leave without asking how much it’s going to be. Even though it shouldn’t be anything because it didn’t last the time they said it should and he charged me 6 dollars. I have lived in Los Angeles and been to the top nail salons, I have traveled the world and spent time in spas, I have found the treasured "hole in the wall" salons that do an amazing job but have no atmosphere. Here you get amazing service, amazing nails and the atmosphere is fantastic. So clean, I would give this nail salon an 11/10 for cleanliness. Each nail tech is equally wonderful and talented. The two owners are always there working along side their employees. For even the most basic pedicure you get cuticle, and orange scrub (real oranges!) massage and hot towels! That's just the "basic pedi". I have gotten the Luxury Pedi ($50) it's amazing and lasts 70 minutes. Unbelievable. The techs turned me onto SNS manicures and I will never go back to acrylic or gel. I can't say enough good things about this place. I refuse to go anywhere else unless I am desperate and traveling, and every time I go somewhere else I just miss this salon more. Wow!! This place is such a hidden gem. I think I will go to my grave telling people to come here and experience one of their AMAZING pedicures. I paid $33 for probably $100+ worth of services. The price is outstanding here and you definitely get your money's worth and so much more. I chose the "AZ Nails Pedicure" which includes all the usual pedicure treatments, scrub, lotion, fresh fruit treatment (they scrub a grapefruit into your legs! It's so refreshing and amazing), paraffin wax, plenty of massage time, hot stone, hot towel, and polish and all the regular benefits!  I was literally amazed by the service and I would 110% recommend people to come here. I have been coming here for 8 months now and am so happy I found this place. I live in downtown PHX and drive to see Kenny and Mimi because they truly are the best. They do SNS and Kenny has made my nails stronger and healthier than I have ever seen them, no joke. He does detailed work and cares very much about his customers and doing the best possible job. First timers and I would've given this place a 5 bc I really enjoyed the service and environment but when it came down to the work my friend wasn't satisfied and I broke a nail 4 days later :( My friend got acrylics and gel and they had a small bubble and dent and some left over polish on the sides. My SNS is perfect every time! The owners, husband and wife, really care about the health of your nails. My nails have gotten much stronger. I tend to come in every time I'm rushed and have a set time that I need to leave... yet they always accommodate and get me out on time! Pedicures are awesome too. This was my first time getting tips on my nails, so I was nervous to say the least. The technician recommended the SNS method and told me all about how it worked and why he preferred SNS. They are a bit longer than I anticipated but I want sure how long to get them since they file them again at the end. The place was clean and bright and I will definitely come back! I went here for the first time today and I was blown away by the decor and service!! It was amazing and I could not believe that how friendly and relaxing it felt in there. Their store has a small chandelier in the front, a wine fridge with bottled water, and an OPI sugar scrub area!! It's amazing! Kim did my pedicure and she was so great! Not bad price, very quick service, and always do a great job! The picture is from my nails being a week old and they still look great! I just get a regular refill each time for 17 bucks with an 8 dollar eyebrow wax. They're super friendly and speak English very well. The salon looks nice and they have good polish us to choose from. There wasn't very much of a wait. The grooming portion of the pedicure was short and not very detailed and massage they focus mostly on your legs. $36 for what's considered a basic pedicure somewhere else. Absolutely the worst place you can go!! Very inconsiderate of your feelings. They do the opposite of what you ask. Then they get upset that you don't like the way your nails come out. Also they make your nails so weak that they will break off and make you pay for it. Idk about you lady's but out of all the years I've had my nails done, they haven't broke off til now. Today was my second visit here. The first time was so great, I came back a second. I wanted to initially get a gel manicure and pedicure. Picked my color and sat down to get a pedicure. While I was getting my pedicure, a lady put the cotton on my nails to remove my gel nails. My pedicure was about 40 minutes long! I removed the cotton myself because nobody came to assist me the whole time while I was getting a pedi. I decided to leave as soon as my pedicure was finished. The shop did get slammed about 15 minutes I came. But there is no reason as to why people who came after me should be helped first. This business works as first come first serve. Unless there were appointments set. Which if happened, they should have informed me.I really like their pedicures and how they use real oranges. Unfortunately I will not be back.
