Ask for Dani!! I was visiting from NYC where I spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on cuts, colors and styles and have never had as good of an experience as I did with Dani. She gave me a cut that looks great curly, straight, side or center parted. She colored my hair to look natural but stylish. Dani also styled my hair the best I've ever had it. Again, coming from the NYC area, I thought I was getting good service, but Dani blew me away. She was fantastic and I wish I lived closer, I'd go there all the time. Andrea does my hair all of the time, and let me tell you I have never found a hair dresser that I have been more pleased with. She is so attentive and personal to all of your wants and needs when it comes to your hair, eyebrows, or even makeup! She does it all and she does it so well. I use her for makeup and hair on every major holiday and she does a wonderful job. I've had her do some pretty crazy things to my hair and every time I was so nervous, but Andy has that charm that instantly calms my nerves once I'm in her chair. I just moved here and was in desperate need of a color and cut. Found this place on Yelp. Read the reviews and they did not disappoint. I was very nervous but Lindsey put me at ease. I found the most amazing person, Lindsey! She listened and understood how I wanted my hair. She covered my gray. The color turned out perfect!  And the cut was exactly what I wanted! I am so happy with the result. Everybody in the salon was very friendly. The only thing is if you want to leave a tip you have to bring cash they don't let you add it to your card. Best place ever. Just went to Colorbar yesterday.  Had Wendy and she did an awesome job. I am going to try natural, have extreme white in the front and front sides and around the back.  She did an awesome job weaving the natural color that I had coming through the crown and around, also toned down the blond/ yellow with a beautiful silver.  It is quite a change for me.  But, believe it was what I needed to walk into the white/grey phase of my life.  The cut is exactly what I am looking for.  Had gone to a local trendy salon for 5 years and am happy I found Colorbar. I have gone here off and on for years.  I would say you get what you pay for, it's not as cheap as supercuts, but they spend more time and do a better job, and not quite as expensive as some other places, that may do a more professional cut.  Overall, decent cut, for not too much money, so I would recommend. The nail techs (Pattie and Leslie) are professional, friendly and do an excellent job! I have never been anything but thrilled with services I have received! Do not have your hair done at this salon. My color came out orange and weave came out yellow. When I went back to have them redo it, another mistake....it's ruined. They were very nice people but do not know about hair.Also, I just washed the blouse I had on at the time ($35.00 blouse) and it is ruined. I noticed when I got home the back of my shoulders were wet. When I went to wash it, it was obvious that she got bleach on it. Now that is ruined! This place needs to get a grip! Read Less

I have been here a few times now, and just not been impressed. The stylists are OK, nothing great. There prices are decent, but I think a little on the high side for the quality you get. My biggest complaint comes from the customer service. I have called after hours or on Sundays when they are closed several times and left a message. They will NOT call you back. If you are going to have an answering machine then use it and call people back. I guess business is good if they can afford to not return calls and go else where. I will not be returning here. I have the most difficult time finding a good hairstylist and I have had a lot of bad luck in the past. I am so grateful I found this salon! Heather colored my hair and it looked great, was the color she said it would turn out to be, and looked shiny and healthy! She cut my hair and it was exactly what I asked for! She even showed me a better way to style it so that it would do what I wanted it to do! I never take the time to fill out these reviews but I had such a good experience that I had to share!
