Bridal Hair & Make Up: Denise and her team were amazing. I did my trial with Denise about a year prior to my wedding and knew before I left that she was who I was looking for. She gave me options, talked me through the process and let me make adjustments when needed. Day of the wedding her and her team arrived early. This place is absolutely fantastic. I found this Salon just by searching the web randomly after a completely awful haircut that I got at another salon. Went in to see if it could be fixed and was not disappointed at all. The owner of the salon, Denise is actually the one who cut my hair and I've been going back to her ever since. Yvette is very talented! She gave my asian hair the perfect, bright blonde I wanted and it was very healthy. A lot of other salons make it too gray or purple.The week of my wedding, another stylist at Vidogi turned my hair a light shade of pink and darkened the base color. Mistakes happen and my hair is weird to work with. The owner and Yvette spent all day trying to fix it. I'm very grateful for their work... But I was still charged for it. I understand it takes time and labor to work on hair and I tipped sixty dollars, so it's not about the money. But it's an odd policy that if my hair is pink instead of blonde that I should have to pay for them to correct a mistake they made in the first place. Read Less

I have been to see Denise several times within the past year. She specializes in balayage and she is amazing at doing it! I have naturally dark black Asian hair, and she continuously delivers by giving me the look I want! She is very efficient with her time and ensures that every service is completed in a timely manner. During consultations with her before the service starts, we always go over what can be done realistically with the status of my hair based off the photo I show her. She always ensures that my hair is healthy and will not be damaged. Denise also gives me a quote and communicates with me how much each service will be so there isn't a misunderstanding. Also, Denise always responds quickly when contacted for an appointment. I typically make appointments last minute for a few days in advance and she always makes time for me which I appreciate!These photos are from our most recent session in mid May. It was my first time going there yesterday and I was very impressed. the salon itself is a very nice boutique style space nestled in Old Town Scottsdale. Rather than a long row of chairs as is so common in salons, they are divided by these cool tile walls that give you a sense of privacy without sacrificing atmosphere. The online booking process was an absolute breeze. I had no idea who to pick for my haircut since it was my first time, so I just picked who was available during my time frame and I ended up with Gavin. Totally lucked out. He's an absolute pro. I just showed him a couple of pictures and probably did a pretty crappy job describing what it was I was looking for but he knew exactly what I was trying to articulate and executed flawlessly. Maybe it's in his blood because both of his parents are also stylists. Whatever it is, it’s got to take talent to make the mop on top of this dome look good, so props! Conversation was great too.
