I came to The Sparkle Bar after my previous make-up plans fell thru for my wedding. I called the week prior to the wedding and Leiah was able to schedule a trial and my wedding day-of makeup within a couple days of each other. When I came in for my trial, I showed her a few pictures and, boy, did she make magic happen. She basically did everything I showed her. Throughout the entire process, she wanted to make sure that she applied enough blush or highlight or contour. She wa...nted to truly make sure that you were happy with what she was doing. Another thing that I liked, was she told me that she wanted the make-up to look natural but just a little bit better. Why didn't I do this before?! The second I walked in I was greeted with a smile and was offered water while my artist set up. I was 15 minutes early, but she got me started as soon as she was ready! My artist was Charity who made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I'm pretty picky when it comes to getting my makeup done. I never wear anything but foundation so I am terrified of looking overdone. Charity listened to my requests and did an amazing job keeping it subtle but glam at the same time. I was a little nervous going in -- I've always had hit and miss (mostly miss) experiences getting my makeup done at various places around the valley, but I read so many good reviews on here that I decided to give it a shot. Gabriella did an amazing job! She was so friendly, listening to exactly what I was looking for, asked questions along the way to make sure I liked it, and was fun and genuine to be around. My makeup looked great and lasted all day.I loved some of the specific products she used on me, and while they don't sell them there, she wrote down the brands, colors and the store to purchase at so I could get them later. I actually like that they don't sell the stuff there, there's no pressure and it doesn't feel like they're using specific products just to promote a line.The salon was clean and their appointment availability is awesome -- I had booked online just a couple days before. These ladies are absolute artists! I'm still amazed at how flawless my makeup was for New Year's Eve... and the best part? It lasted all night, despite the fact that I was outside and got rained on a bit.My best friend and I booked appointments with The Sparkle Bar about two weeks in advance, and since both of us were getting our makeup done, we asked for the artists to come to the house. Candace showed up promptly, got her mini studio set up, and started working her magic. She was extremely pleasant and friendly -- it felt like one of my good friends was doing my makeup. She was very attentive as well with how I wanted my makeup done, and the finished product... wow! I was extremely impressed with my makeup, and it didn't feel heavy, gross, oily, and didn't have that "caked-on" look. I felt like a princess, just sayin'.Candace started my best friend's makeup as well, but then Leiah came to finish hers. And let me just say, Leiah is definitely a makeup guru. My friend's makeup was perfect -- elegant, yet still subtle. Leiah was so incredibly sweet and talkative; she made the experience that much better! One of our other girl friend's wanted to get her makeup done last-minute as well since she saw how amazing of a job these girls do... and Leiah was able to get her makeup done, too! I will keep this review short and sweet! The sparkle bar will do just that, make you sparkle! I came here prior to an event and I cannot get over how amazing and beautiful they made me feel inside and out. I had been in a bit of a beauty rut and I needed something to get me out of it and sparkle bar did just that!Only a few criticisms and suggestions, carry a higher and more extensive variety of cosmetics and brands... I was surprised at how low end a few of the products were that were used and offered there.  Also, I wish they sold some of the products they used mostly lipgloss and lipstick!  But that's just honestly nitpicking! I recently visited the Sparkle Bar for full face makeup before an event. The place is adorable- so fab and charming without feeling stuffy. My makeup artist was Charity and she was fantastic - I told her she worked magic on my face.
