We are visiting for a week's vacation, and I am thrilled to have found The Nail Lady. I had a manicure which was professionally done plus Carol is such a compassionate person.  I felt so well cared for and booked a pedicure for both my husband and I. The pedicure was very relaxing and my feet look and feel great. My husband has had pedicures in the past but is not a fan. He jerks his feet and generally acts like he is not happy! Carol listened to his concerns and gave him the best pedicure ever! She expertly and painlessly took care of the ingrown toenails too. He did not move a muscle. I was amazed. I wish I could give Carol 10 stars. After trying several nail salons in the area I found The Nail Lady on Yelp (thanks Yelp!). Carol offers everything I've been looking for. First, she has a convenient location, her place is quiet and serene, there aren't 20 nail techs with 20 clients and 10 people waiting for late appointments. She is always on time. It's quiet, comfortable and calm, a nice break in my day. She does a fabulous job, the first time my cuticles haven't been cut and bleeding. She has a TON of regular and gel polish colors. Her place is also super clean, her tools and workspace are spotless. The best part, though, IMO is Carol herself. She is easy to talk to, and she has been so kind to both of my boys. Carol is just amazing. Her studio is well decorated and very clean. When you walk in you just feel at home. I just started going to her a few months ago, and not only is she a remarkable woman, her customers are great as well. The mani-pedicures last forever. Carol Houser has been my nail technician for 13 years. I have several reasons for this: I want to be the only one in the salon during my appointment so I get the one on one care I deserve and since this is a private salon I get just that! She is meticulous about sanitation. She is excellent at her craft. She has all the latest in colors, and she is an expert in Shellac. She is welcoming, respectful and friendly. I had the pleasure of visiting the Nail Studio for a pedicure in Scottsdale, AZ. More and more men are getting pedicures these days and I don't know why I waited so long to get my first one. First off, Carol asked me if there was anything I wanted to drink and she had me sit in a very comfortable recliner. The salon was also very private and I got to watch a nice size TV during my pedicure. I didn't get to watch much TV because Carol is conversational and very friendly. I visit Arizona about two or three times a year, and every time I come I go to the Nail Studio and get my nails done. The woman who owns it, Carol, is extremely friendly, but also does an exceptional job. Her salon is small but very comfortable.
