My best friend and I were referred here by a coworker because I always loved her nails. Met the new management, Ben and Diem, and they are so nice! I have been going here since October and I usually go for gel manicures and a pedicure. My best friend gets his eyebrows done and loves them every time. Their salon is so decorative and welcoming and has a great atmosphere. They also have other technicians that do hair. Best nail salon I've been to in North Scottsdale. (And I've tried them all!) My nails never chip and they're always filed perfectly! Wow, I wish I lived closer! On vacation,  found this place on yelp and loved it!!!! The facility is very clean and professional.  When we arrived we were greeted with a cold bottle of water, and sat quickly. I got the #1 pedicure and got a phenomenal foot/leg massage, great paint job and to top it off a neck and back massage. If I had more time I'd try out one of the massage rooms, they are beautiful. My husband and I recently moved in the Phoenix area and were looking for shops and more. While dropping off my pet for grooming, we decided to check out this salon. Let me just say .. the service exceeded my expectations. My husband and I got matching pedicures and the owners were there catering to our every need! They were really polite and fun! I have been to many nail shops but have never received the type of exemplary service I did at Shona. Customer service is top notch and the price is affordable. Ben is friendly and professional; very good to his clients from the moment you walk into the shop. My pedi was done by a young girl that I unfortunately didn't get her name. She did a Fantastic job. I only wish i had found them sooner, but then again Ben and his wife didnt have the salon open under their new management yet when i needed a fill before. I am so glad i found you. This place is amazing!  I found on Yelp one random day and am so glad I did.  The owners, Ben and Diem, are friendly, welcoming artists who are excellent at their craft.  The salon has a wonderful layout, meticulously decorated, and very clean and professional.  Diem does a FLAWLESS manicure, and Ben absolutely ROCKS a pedicure and foot/leg/neck/shoulder massage!  I haven't tried the other salon services yet, but based on how the owners care for their customers,  I would expect to receive the same treatment from anyone works there! I was given a gift on Groupon from a friend that didn't expire until late June of 2017. When I tried making an appointment on May 22, I was told they are under new ownership and are not honoring any Groupon bought under the previous owner.  So,  my friend is out her money on Groupon and I don't get to redeem it because of this business owner.  Just thought all Groupon users should know! Best service I have had in years! The owner is spectacular and went above and beyond for me today. I had a wonderful 60 minute pedicure that was fabulous with paraffin wax and hot stones. I had a manicure too! I did not have S&S but they do have it! I got a chair massage and they have hair services! It was so nice to support such nice business owners! I came to this place for a Groupon Deal a Spa Pedicure and a Gel Manicure on Saturday. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They are reasonably priced even without the Groupon Deals.However, when I got my pedicure and manicure the lady barley scribed my hands and my feet. Very disappointed in my nails after a week, they were peeling after just four days. That has never happened to me with gel nails. My cuticles were not soaked and barley removed with something that looked like tweezers, and no cuticle remover was ever put on my toes or fingers. I decided try this spa on a Groupon for a gel mani and spa pedi, it wasn't the best. I really liked the lady that did my nails, she was very nice, but their process for the services is off.Pedi - she barely scrubed my feet, like my heels, etc. she didn't get any of the dead skin off, I literally came home and scrubbed them some more. They don't use the right tool for clipping the cuticles and all the extra skin around your nails, what they used looked like a tweezer and it barely got any skin off. Mind you, I haven't had a pedi for a few months and there should have been a pile of nastiness on the towel. In the end it looked OK, but I didn't feel like I had a pedi, just a clean up/polish job. Gel mani - she didn't soak my nails/hands at all. Again, same issue with the cuticle trimming, she barely cut anything off, this is my main reason for going to get my nails professionally done, I want all the dead stuff off! She did shape them nicely and the polish looked good, but she used such thin layers of gel polish, it's already rubbing off on one of my nails. Usually if it starts to chip a chunk would chip off, this is like the polish was so thin, it's just kind of wearing away, which I have never had happen.I only paid $29 for the services, thank god. Normally it costs $70 at this salon and if I would have paid that I would have been livid.Conclusion, I would not go back unfortunately. Read Less

Weirdest spa experience ever! I had a coupon for a $45 facial peel. Well, you get what you pay for. I assumed the peel would include a regular facial but I was wrong. My treatment literally took 15 minutes. My aesthetician cleansed my face, put on the peel, put on some moisturizer & that was it. I was looking forward to a nice spa experience but this was just slapping on some product. The staff is friendly, though. I recommend buying an at-home facial peel instead.
