I'd never had my lashes curled/permed, and I couldn't believe the difference!  My lashes grow straight out, and I hate falsies.  Chanel curled my existing lashes with their lash lift (serums are applied to your lashes over a curved form, no heat element) and then tinted them.  The results are really just fantastic.  I don't even have to wear mascara for my lashes to pop, and it has been weeks since my appointment.  Really great value overall.  I need to find someone in Nashville who can do this for me, because now I'm hooked.  Thanks, Chanel! This place is in the heart of it all, I adore the location, and on top of that the decor is super cute. I love coming to see Chanel and talking her ear off. I've had so much done to my face, and yet I've never had a weird reaction with any treatment from Chanel. She also does eyelash perming/tinting which I will get done (eventually) when I make the time! She has done wonders for my skin and her products are natural but effective. I've gotten a series of peels from her that have seriously diminished any unwanted acne and scarring on my face. Ive only had the best experiences at Luminosa! Their staff is so friendly, knowledgable, and always willing to help. They use all natural products for their nail and skin care services, which is just fantastic. They use and sell a toxic free nail polish called Zoya. Chanel, the esthetician offers a unique service called a "lash lift", which is like a perm for your eye lashes. I combo the lash lift with a lash tint for a full dark curl that gives the appearance of a light mascara. They recently moved from their Arcadia location to Old Town. Their new space is so cute! Love this place for nails! I had the best manicure and pedicure I've ever had (even compared to a salon at a 5 star resort). The ladies that work here are so sweet. And it's adorable inside--very relaxing and private. First of all, Luminosa beauty studio is a complete and total gem of a find! The spa is clean, simple, modern, and really makes you feel like you're the only one there; they make you feel special by treating you as if you're not just another client like some other nail studios do and they also are great about offering coffee, water, etc,. As for the nail techs, Jen is the best!!! I've been getting my gel nails done by Jen for the past year or so and have NEVER once been disapp...ointed! As far as the manicure part goes, she can do any shape you like and cleans the nails up very nicely and customizes it to best fit your wants and what will work best with your natural shape. Also, the gel lasts 3-4 weeks, unlike many other studios that I've gone to where I hit the 10th day and they start chipping and when you go in unhappy, they tell you that's normal or seem annoyed to re-do it. It's so comforting knowing that I will have a solid 3 weeks of gorgeous nails with no worries in my mind! If you're like me and like more than just the gel color, any idea, picture, or lack there of, she can create/re-create and even does it better than what you had envisioned! Jen is an amazingly talented artist and it really comes through when she hand draws these designs. What is also great about Jen, and very refreshing I might add, is that she is easy to talk to, calming, and really listens to what it is that you want and if for some reason you don't like it, just speak up and she will gladly change it for you.
