Mom and I have been going to Casual Nails for pedi's for years. The staff give the best foot massages ever!! They never skimp. We always go to Le and Richard so of course we think they are the best but we haven't been disappointed with any of their staff. Very friendly service! I am giving Casual Nails 3 Stars and not 4 due to the appearance of salon, cleanliness and selection of nail colors. If these factors are not important to you I would say this is a nice overall salon. The people are very nice and they do a great job spending time on callus and massage. I plan on coming back only because they do a decent job and it's two miles from my house. My recommendation for the salon is newer nail colors and cleaning up the salon. We just had a terrible experience at Casual Nails. I wanted to treat my 3 year old to get her toes painted for Christmas. I called ahead of time and they said they don’t take appointments for young kids and to just walk in. We arrived and the place was packed. We waited a while when finally they were ready to take my daughter. She was so excited! She sat down and told them she wanted a snowman on her main toe ---- the lady said she couldn’t. Then my daughter asked for Christmas lights ---- the lady said she couldn’t. The worker seemed frustrated that she had to paint my daughter’s nails, because she could probably be doing an adult’s for a much larger amount. She quickly did one coat of red only. I asked what could she do to make it special? She said a snowflake. The snowflake looked terrible, but at this point, I didn’t want to complain since I wanted the experience for my daughter to be an enjoyable one. My daughter asked for a lollipop (since they have a container at the front of the store of them). The lady asked me “What did she say?” I repeated and said that she would like to have a lollipop. The lady didn’t acknowledge or answer either one of us. The whole toe painting experience lasted less than 5 minutes. She then turned to me and said “$3.” Since I was expecting it to be more than that, I handed over my debit card for payment. The lady said “You don’t have cash?” I responded back that I didn’t. She then yelled across the store that I didn’t have cash and only a card. She then said, “You are going to have to go get cash at an ATM to pay us.” I pointed to the displayed sign and read it out loud “The price of credit cards are going up, we prefer cash.” I reemphasized “PREFER.” The “manager” yelled “It costs me $3 to use it as credit card. Our sign CLEARLY states we don’t take credit card.” Once again, I reiterated the sign that it says “prefer” not “only accept.” Then, in the most embarrassing context ever, three of the workers began yelling “GET OUT! JUST GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!” It was embarrassing, and uncalled for. They may not be hurting for business, but I will never go back. Terrible, terrible experience. Read Less

2 stars cause usually they are quick to get you in. But I've got to say their consistency sucks. Sometimes my nails turn out great sometimes they don't. Sometimes my shellac manicure lasts and sometimes they don't. When I called them out on my shellac lasting a mere 5 days I went back for them to fix it, it was quite unpleasant. I'm honestly thinking why am I paying for this. Then today was my last straw when I asked for matching colors on my toes and fingernails and I ended up getting 2 different colors. I didn't quite notice cause I was in a hurry now I'm just dreading to have them fix it. Yes I could repaint my toes myself but then what did I pay 70 dollars for my service. Ugh!! So no more casual nails for me I would rather drive a distance and be happy. Read Less

This is definitely one of the better nail places in the Sahuarita area. I have gotten a full set and pedicure here once, and I brought my mother along for a pedicure. The pedicure was amazing, and they give you a pretty long foot and leg massage which is a plus. My nails came out pretty well, my only complaint being that the nail tech did leave me with a lot of cuts on my fingers. It is usually packed in here, so I would definitely suggest making an appointment beforehand! Read Less
