I had been coming to this place for almost a year. I’ve had awesome experiences, meh experiences and rude experiences during this time. I keep always keep coming back. Why? Because they do a good job, the experience is almost always enjoyable, the atmosphere is nice and the facility is clean which is very important. No place is perfect 100% of the time. They do get busy. I come once a month for a pedicure and there were two where I couldn’t get in last minute after being able to do walk-ins for three months. It was during these times where I went elsewhere that I really appreciated the experience that centre point gives and the quality of their work. This Nail salon my favorite in the North Central corridor. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The place is very nicely decorated making you feel like you're at a fancy SPA. The front desk staff is so rude. It was 11:00 am and the salon wasn't busy at all. I was a walk-in and she told me they couldn't get me in for a nail appointment until Monday! It was Saturday! I'm sorry but no nail salon is booked that far out for simple nail appointments. I'm glad I didn't get them done there because the nail salon up the street located in the Walgreens plaza on 16th st and Glendale was able to get me in and she did an amazing job on my nails! BRIEF: BEST massage, many service pedicure and gel manicure for 80 bucks-worth WAY more than that in my opinion, GREAT customer service, neck massage, and hand/arm massage for manicure, massage chairs. I did a lot of research to find the best pedicure before coming here and boy did I pick correctly! I have had quite a few manicures and pedicures at varying locations over the years and this is the BEST! I made an appointment the day before and I got there about 15 minutes bef...ore my appointment. I was greeted immediately by someone working and then not two seconds later, was greeted, very warmly, by Don, the pedicurist. The ambiance was great and there was a lot of light coming in as well. It also did not smell of anything which is a HUGE plus for me as some salons smell of overwhelming acetone. When I went for my pedicure I was offered water, a magazine, and had a list of the different services so I didn’t feel pressured to have an add on I didn’t want. Never once after I chose my service did anyone ask if I wanted to add something else which is a huge win. All the staff was friendly and although they speak both Vietnamese and English, I never felt as though they were having side conversations. Anytime Don had a brief conversation in his native language, he would clue me in to what was going on, which wasn’t necessary but definitely made me feel comfortable. As I neared the end of my pedicure (I got the centre point one I believe with OPI salt scrub, OPI mask, paraffin wax, hot stone, and regular polish), Brian came to start my manicure (I got the basic with gel polish and no polish change). Don gave the BEST calf and foot massage and although I think it was only supposed to be 10 minutes, he made it feel longer than that, and the massage was what I came here for! After my polish was on my toes, I went to have my manicure finished by Brian who was so sweet and had a wonderful and infectious smile. There was a HUGE wedding party coming in and it got busy REAL quick but that didn’t stop Don and Brian from keeping good service for me. Don came and gave me a quick but amazing neck/shoulder massage and never once made me feel rushed. Brian finished my manicure and then finished with a hand/forearm massage. For all this, it was only 80 bucks! A STEAL! Although this is 30 minutes away from where I live, I WILL be there again. It took me a while to find a nail place when I moved to Phoenix and I was glad I finally ran into Centre Pointe! Their pedicures are amazing!! I feel like I'm in a spa every time I go. I like that they have a timer when they massage you, so you definitely feel like you're getting the same experience as everyone else. The sugar scrub is amazing too. I ask for Lee every time I visit. She's so patient and she does a great job! Unlike other techs, Lee doesn't rush to get to her next appointment -- she definitely makes sure she does exactly what you ask her to do. Horrible experience. Pedicure- My technician was rude and kept trying to upsell me on their services. When I said no she looked annoyed. I asked for a design and she was frustrated. After the message I decided not to get the design and she said "that's easier for me" Manicure- I asked for a gel manicure. I told the technician I never had a gel manicure before and she started talking about another product. I could not understand what she was saying and I ended up getting gel acrylics. I loved this salon! I had a chance to go in during a lunch break, and to start, the salon is gorgeous. Multiple pedicure chairs with a massaging feature that work extremely well. I was greeted by multiple people, and was seated almost immediately. When I asked if my pedicure and manicure could be done simultaneously, it wasn't a problem or annoyance--and I was just a walk in! I was in town for a Mommy Vacay---yes, a getaway for three moms with multiple kids under the age of 9, need I say more?!!  My flight left last so I needed to find some ways to kill time before heading to catch my flight back to reality.  Our hotel was minutes away and after reading the stellar Yelp reviews I booked a 1PM appointment for a fill with gel polish.  I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and was pleasantly surprised how much better the interior looked compared to the run down strip mall the salon is housed in.  I waited a few moments before being seated at their chic nail bar with white stone countertops, leather like high back chairs with ultra convenient hooks for your purse!!  The technician began removing my gel polish and asked me what shape I wanted. I repeated myself a few times before she asked for some input from the woman in the first chair.  Turns out this is who would end up finishing my nails and o couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome.  Chi with her cute baby bump in tow, asked me what shape, thickness and curve I wanted. I loved how thorough she was!  I mean, her attention to detail was awesome!!!  Apparently she doesn't do nails anymore as she just runs the shop now but because of short staff due to vacations and illness she stepped in to help!  Score for me. This is a good quality nail salon. They have a lot of workers and a lot of chairs so nobody should ever have to wait from what I can see. I had a manicure and a pedicure. They offer multiple pedicure options so I chose the one with the hot stone and oil massage and paragon wax. It was $42, which was reasonable. For both services (which were done at the same time and immediately started once I got there) it lasted around an hour or so. The massages on both hands and legs were excellent and they use warm lotions, which is quite nice. Even though it is a bit of a drive I will be returning. I don't have anything negative to say. Worst experience of my life! Came in to get a gel mani and pedi. My pedicure went great felt really good looked nice then it's time for my gel mani. They had me sit down in front of a lady and then 10 minutes later they tell me oh we are going to move you over here. So I walk over to the next seat sit there for another 10 minutes then they have me move to a different lady. So finally this lady starts shaping my nails I asked for them rounded. Little did I know I was going to ...get nails all different lengths and square shaped. So when I confronted her about the unevenness of the lengths and how they did not look rounded she filed my thumb nail to it's nub. At that point I expressed I can't have her do my nails and she said how about you file your own nails. Ummmm no!!!! That's what I'm paying you for. She also said she can not see my nails because the light is to bright lol. If I knew her name I would post it but I don't to save you all the misery. Eventually I was about to walk out and they offered a new lady who did an okay job but not what I wanted because of the First Lady ruining the shape of my nails. Oh by the way my big toe nail got smeared because of moving to 3 different chairs to get my nails done. And the way they fixed was by painting over it, everyone knows you can't paint over a smear you have to remove the polish and start over( regular nail polish).Overall this place is a big joke!!!! It was nice until I had my nails done by a girl who really didn't know what she was doing. This girl put on a nail without fileing it down leave me with a big line across the nail...when she was putting the nail on top of my nail I asked her why didn't she file it before putting the pink and white powder on? She stated the pink powder will cover the line. I told no it will not. She still ran me down that she was the professional. I again explain nicely that I have been get...ting my nails done before she was born and she was wrong. This is my third time coming to this nail salon and I have receive the worst experience and worst customer service ever. Chi has always did my nails so my appointment was for her. I arrived on time to my appointment. the manager Chi was busy and she was still with another customer so I stepped outside and waited. I came back in and the receptionist told me that Chi left to pick up her son, I understand that daycare close at a certain time I have kids too but no one came out ...to just tell me, so I began to wait again. Chi comes back and she begins to do another person nails while they place me over to start my pedicure. While doing my pedicure....another stylist tells me she's going to do my nails. I'm confused because if I wanted anyone to do my nails I wouldn't have made an appointment. Chi, didn't have the dignity or respect to come and asked me do you mind somebody else do your nails today she just told them which I thought was disrespectful. I had the SNS nails done prior so the nail tech came over to start doing my nails. I felt rushed. She was doing my nails while my feet was getting done and this was not a relaxed feeling AT ALL! Very upsetting is an understatement I asked Chi, your not doing my nails....she responded next time ....really, this is how you run your business. the young lady that did my pedicure was great. It was Chi who didn't respect my time left me while she had to pick up her son which is fine just give me a heads up, and didn't even apologize for not doing my nails after making an appointment with her. I received a gift certificate for a pedicure and this was by far one of the best pedicure experiences I have ever had. The employees were all friendly and the pedicure was wonderful!
