Absolutely love the place. I visited and was greeted nicely, Made myself a cup of coffee while waiting to be seated, They had free wifi and i love the look of the place. once i was seated i was overwhelmed by the quality of the seat and how sanitary the bowl is. I have never seen a salon use plastic bags over the tub before and that made me feel very clean. when i was done with the fantastic pedicure I watched them clean out the tub with soap and sanitizer even though everything was contained by the bag. I got a pedicure from an older woman working at the salon. She applied cream callous remover, and proceeded to use the callous removing "foot file". She was so aggressive with the tool that she sliced into my foot, causing pain and bleeding. She then applied styptic liquid. The styptic liquid was very painful, and she advised me to put my foot back into the pedicure bath. Then, during my manicure, the tech blew her nose in a tissue and then proceeded to work on my manicure, without even washing her hands--claiming that she only had allergies. Upon going to the front desk to pay, I told the receptionist that I wanted a discount since I was injured during the pedicure service. Next to her was sitting the male owner working on a woman's manicure. In their native language, the receptionist (I assume) told the owner my complaint and request for a discount. She said she wanted to see how bad it was first, before she did anything about it. I showed her my foot injury. She and the owner exchanged words again, while the owner continued to work on his manicure client. The receptionist offered me $5 off the service, and an additional bandage, since the one I had on was soaked through with blood and falling off. The owner never acknowledged me in any way. He allowed his worker to deal with me rather than deal with me himself. Not much of a responsible owner. Read Less

I love this place!  I go during the day, so there's never a wait.  They've got a great selection of quality polishes and luxurious services.  Good customer service, and they provide FREE WI-FI!!!  They do mani, pedi, full set, wax, massage, eyelashes, and brow tattoos.  The prices are just a bit higher than other nail salons, but they make up for it with the extra touches (wi-fi, full massage chairs - not just vibrating seats, & friendliness). I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I tried them because I had a gift card-and thankful for not having to pay out of pocket. Terrible nail salon. Unfriendly staff who think they're better than everyone who walks in. The reason people visit is for convenience. It's not clean, they're unorganized, and they have an awful nail color selection. I just moved to the area and tried this place for the first time yesterday. As soon as I walked in the door a part of me thought I needed to leave immediately. It is so typical and that's really scary to me, cluttered, unorganized looking and in desperate need of a makeover. And for all appearances not so clean. You'd think after telling the man at the desk you hadn't been in before he might have been a bit more friendly or welcoming. No, not happening, no one was particularly nice or welcoming. I couldn't find a place to put my purse or drink but quickly realized if I twisted my body like a pretzel there was a tiny table filled with old tattered magazines and if I twisted some more I could clear a spot to sit my belongings. The super creepy part is all the interior cameras blatantly pointed directly at you. I don't do the fake acrylic nails, just a simple manicure and pedicure and I will say they were both adequate. It's clear to me this business isn't very customer friendly but they get the job done. I'm undecided about returning. Read Less

Although my first time here, I have to start off with a terrific review! I found everyone friendly, it was busy on a Monday morning so people have to like it, and I could tell that they were steady customers. I had Tony do my fill, and Kelly do my pedicure. Both were meticulous, careful, caring, and darn right great!!  Actually, Tony painted the design on my toenail, and it was really different and beautiful!  So far, so good and will definitely return. This is a good local nail salon. Jamy is an amazing artist and enjoys putting new designs on my nails. She has progressively become busier so it is necessary to make an appointment. I would put zero stars but it required me to put at least one. Old lay took care of me last time and she cut my nails narrow which left me with ingrown toenails. I got them done march 17th and it had almost been a month when that lady did them. There is puss coming out of both toenails. That lady should be fired! Never getting a pedicure again and I'm not recommending this place at all. Also when I tried to ask for a refund this bossy lady insulted my profession. You do nails so you should know that ingrown toenails could get an infection or you will have to do surgery to fix the nail entirely. I should have filed malpractice but I am nice enough to just ask for my money back. Never coming here again. Read Less

I went in for a gel manicure. Told them my existing gel polish had to be soaked off first. They proceeded to wrap my nails in foil with a little bit of acetone on a cotton pad. I sat there for about 30 minutes and the gel polish wouldn't budge. I told him that my usual manicurist just soaks my finger nails in acetone and it comes off within five minutes. They told me they don't do that anymore because it eats the skin... Funny, I think it I would know if it had eaten my skin before. Then one lady shows up with a pic and tries to hack the polish off my finger nails, leaving a dent in my nail. Just because they are too cheap to pour some acetone in a dish. I walked out and I will never be back, I walked to Safeway bought a bottle of acetone nail polish remover, and got the polish off myself in less than five minutes. I've been to this salon multiple times since it is so close to home but I will never go back. I called ahead and they told me to come right away and they will get started. Well 20 min of waiting they start my nails (wrapping in tin foil) then I'm told that he has 2 appts so he stopped working on me and I sat there for over an hour waiting for him to come back! Then I'm switched to another person with no apology. Just a way to get me in to make money. And to top it off they charged me $10 more than last time, I showed him the receipt from last time and the date, he said oh yeah hmm idk and charged me more with sitting there for over an hour! You'd think they'd at least compensate for that. Every single time I go the price magically changes. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was horrible. I was there for 2 hrs for a gel manicure.. This place is awesome!!!!  Everyone there is fantastic.  They are all great at whatever they do.  Not always the friendliest staff, infact....they aren't very friendly but their great work  makes up for it!!!  My Gel nails last 3-4 weeks, and Pedi's last 1 1/2 months!!!!  My family from California can hardly wait to get here to go to Temptations!!!!  I've been to a lot of nail/Pedi places in my life in California and NV.....this is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!  They keep raising their prices and need to stop but they are great!!!!!!! I LOVE this place. I have been going here for a year. I moved to Arizona from Northern California in Jan 2015 and the first thing I did was start my search and research for all of the suppliers for my beauty needs. hair, nails, massage, lashes and supplies. I have tried a lot of nail shops from lake pleasant to Vistancia. Estrella Nail & Spa, Herbal Nail Bar and Krazy Nail Spa to name a few. They all have their good and bad but what I love about Temptation Nail Spa is that they ARE friendly. They don't PUSH their suggestions on me. If I make a decision that they know is not a good one, they let me know and DO AS I ASK ANYWAY without getting mad at me. They talk in their native tongue AND in English. I don't feel that it's disrespectful because my daughter and I have GREAT conversations with the men and women working there. I don't feel like I'm in a cattle call and I have NEVER waited when I arrive with an appointment. My pedicure and gel nails look GOOOOD when I leave and I have never had to return for a repair because of an error they made. But I have done a few things to mess up my own nails and I didn't blame it on shoddy workmanship. In life, you get back what you give. I have seen some customers come in with their snooty disrespectful attitudes and turn the whole place cold. I have a hunch.....just a hunch...they're the ones writing the bad reviews. I'm HAPPY and I love life and that's what I give out, and I definitely get it back at Temptation Nails.Grouchy people I see in the shop, have several seats Doll......you're killing the happy vibe in the shop. For a local shop in our community, this shop is a true disappointment! I have been disappointed 3 times... And will not try again! The shop is not a very nice atmosphere. They don't greet you in a friendly manner. They make you wait even when you have an appointment. Just disappointed since we should come out feeling positive and pretty since we are paying for such services. 1st time I got an acrylic fill with gel polish and within a week my nails lifted. 2nd time I got a gel manicure and it peeled off within 4 days. 3rd (and final) time the guy said my nails are "too thin from having acrylics" and I need to "dip them in powder (extra $10) to help the polish stick. And here we are, a week later, the gel is peeling and cracked and my nails are broken and look awful! They speak in Vietnamese in front of you when they could speak English, which I find disrespectful. Read Less

For the location/neighborhood this salon is located in (an upperscale area) this place should be better. For one, it looks like nothings been cleaned in the shop since they moved in. The entire place is dirty and dumpy. The stereotypes of nail shops where no one speaks to you, but in front of you in another language only is derived from places like this. It's a crapshoot depending on which tech you get on how your nails will turn out. I'd say at least 25% of the time I'm not thrilled with the turnout of my nails. Ive got my nails done twice here. The first time, it was okay. But the second time I asked for acrylics and it was honestly the worst Ive ever experienced. Very painful. The acrylic was applied WAY too thick by the end. like it looked like i had oversized 6 inch tall nails. The color wasnt anything like i wanted. I told them the color and they brought a different color and i told them thats not it. but they already did a hand and said theyd charge to redo it since it was gel. NEVER GOING BACK Read Less

The staff is not friendly at all.  But worst of all, the woman doing my pedicure kept digging the metal tool into the side of my toes and I actually yelled "ouch" three times and had to keep asking her to be careful.  Then, she took MY nail polish (I brought in my own polish) and put thinner in it.  When I told her no, it was too late.  How could my polish need to be thinned out when it was brand new?  Wouldn't you at least ask someone first if it was ok to do this?  Then, when she got to my manicure I switched to a light pink and she made a mess out of that.  So, she took it off and put on clear.  Yep, I left w three coats of clear polish on my nails.  I could have done that myself.  I will NEVER step foot in this salon again.  Horrible!!!!!!!
