I ended up having to re-dye my own hair for better color, and the extensions I brought in to be dyed with my hair were stolen, dyed and used by the owner, and I wasn't reimbursed the full price for them. I don’t really go to salons, I’m a do it myself kind of person. Well I let my cousin mess with my hair and it was horribly damaged and the color was horrible... I went to Beauty Bar to fix my hair, the staff was amazing. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they got it right on. They explained everything they were doing and although I was super quiet the whole time they made feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Beauty Bar for my amazing hair!! I went to this place today honestly expecting the same out of all the places I been too. No place could color my hair the way I wanted it. I had a friend recommend this place to me so I thought ehhh why not. To start the atmosphere was amazing. I never felt more comfortable in a salon till today. Arlica did my hair and she worked a miracle she was able to do what I wanted in one day were I was either getting denied or told more sessions by other salons. I highly recommend this place. Alfredo gives the best shampoo jobs EVER, mind alerting and Arlica is so creative and fun. She changed me from a ambre to a total blonde, perfectly. Alfredo gave me lowlights just in time for my wedding and I couldn't be happier. I see Beauty Bar becoming a Hair Empire. I love the ambiance and the friendliness of the bar. This salon is the best in the northwest valley! My daughter's hair came out so great and I cannot wait till I get my hair done soon. The staff is friendly and will take care of your hair and skin needs. They even do facials and eye lash extensions! Awesome place, great hair treatment! I'm taking the red out of my hair, going silver. I've been coloring it for over 30 years. In 1 treatment to start stripping out the red, it's a pretty light copper/ soft brown with blond streaks, blends with my natural silver beautifully. I've gotten so many compliments! I had prom hair and makeup done this last prom season. I heard about a promotion they were having, so I thought I'd give it a try. I liked the way my hair turned out, but my makeup did not turn out well. I went home and redid my makeup, which resulted in me missing out on prom pictures with my friends. That was very frustrating. I called at 8pm on a Sunday night hoping to be able to come in for a haircut. Arlica, the owner, was actually closing up but said she would wait for me to come in. I almost expected her to be annoyed, I mean, she was getting ready to go home but she was happy to stay a little longer for a late night walk in. My 7 year old was with me and she could not have been more considerate, patient and kind. Arlica took her time, made sure to ask questions before making major cuts (I went from a bob to a pixie for the first time), and I left feeling better about myself than I have in months. I really did love my hair after Josh cut and colored it. He was very nice and knowledgeable and what more do we need, right? He showed me everything he was going to do after we chose the colors and he told me the price "out the door". It was a bit more than I'm used to paying, but that's okay, I figured he might be just what I've been looking for.When it was time to pay, however, it turned out he quoted the CASH price. Paying credit was 10% more, which came to $12.00 in my case. I wish I had taken it out of his tip, but I felt that was unfair. Later I thought HE was unfair for quoting the cash price for something well over $100. I never carry that much cash and I don't know anyone who does.Not sure I'll go back, as I felt that was dishonest. Read Less
