Very rushed and the nail tech was so rude. She seemed very irritated. She rushed me to pick a color then before she put a top coat on, I asked if she could do a subtle coat of glitter (I got gel, so obviously very easy to do) and she said “why didn’t you tell me before”. Took me by surprise as this was a super simple request since the top coat wasn’t even on. That’s just a small example of the disappointing and rude experience I had. The services are pricey, so I would think the nail techs would be more friendly. Luckily, the girls are the front were very sweet and apologetic. Don’t try to call at 10 am on a Monday. Someone will answer and hang up on you twice and then when you try to call for the 3rd time you get the answering machine and no one returns your call. But friend made apt right away. They also charge $15 extra to file your nail a different shape. Read Less

I love this nail shop. It's all organic, natural, no chemicals or funny smells. The staff is so funny, and friendly, and offer wine. A couple cool things: Anytime you check in on Facebook you get 10% off. Write a review gets you 10% off. I appreciated they were kind enough to work 4 pedicures in on a last minute reservation. Didnt really like the atmosphere. Very small and rushed. Mostly men performing the pedicures. Mine got an attitude with me when he messed up my toe putting my sandal on and had to repaint it. He should have given the paint a second to dry. Kind of ridiculous. This has got to be THE BEST nail place in all of Arizona. Not only is pricing reasonable, but the service is top notch. Tom is the only nail tech I know who can do dip ombre and it looks gorgeous. His attention to detail is unmatched and he will make sure you leave happy.  Michael did my sister's mani and pedi. I've always gone to the Norterra location but after multiple failed attempts to get the nails I wanted I made the drive out here. Immediately I noticed a HUGE difference in the level of professionalism of the salon workers. I sat down with Tom for a fill and what I expected (from previous experiences) to take at least 2 hours only took 45 minutes! He did an amazing job of fixing the shape since they were not at all what I'd wanted and quickly changed the color of my nails. Also, the previous location always made my nails so THICK and bumpy, Tom did them so nice and smooth (no bumps here!!) they look so natural and don't stick up from my nail bed! Looks like regular shiny smooth gel polish instead of 10 bumpy marshmallows lol. Definitely coming back and will stick with Tom for future appointments! Read Less

As a walk-in, I was seen in just a few minutes. The ladies at the front desk were friendly & accommodating & explained my options... I had 2 (real) nails that had broken off (brittle nails) & 3 that were still perfect length. The woman doing my nails added tips appropriately so my natural nails are not damaged, and ensured those tips' length and shape matched my real nails. Noticing that I preferred my real nails, the women up front suggested SNS (a healthier option for your nails). I hadn't done this before but I AM CONVERTED.  The girl who was sitting next to me only uses SNS & her nails were natural, long, healthy, and strong (the opposite of how nails normally look after months of acrylic & gel). For a while this has been my favorite nail salon but I'm starting to think twice... Two visits ago when I went, I was having my previous manicure removed and the gentleman doing my nails asked who had done them previously. I told him the name and he stated that it was not done well and I should go to him from now on... he did my manicure and I went on my way.On my next visit, I went to someone new because that specific individual (I am purposely leaving out names) wasn't working that day. When he began removing my previous manicure he actually started laughing and called others over to look, and took a photo! He also asked me who did my previous manicure and I told him. He told me it was a horrible manicure, way to thick, etc. I agreed it was way too thick... the new manicure I got ended up being the best I have ever had there and I will continue going back to this person for a better quality manicure. However, I really dislike the inconsistencies across all the manicurists here, as well as the trash talking they all do about each other. There should be serious additional training.....Furthermore, the prices here are way too high. On a positive note, the facility is always clean. I love the SNS manicure and I especially love that I can save my favorite color codes in the computer for next time! The girls that work the front desk are always helpful and friendly. I went here with a friend to get my nails done because it is close to her house, not mine.I paid $40 for an acrylic fill with gel polish. 5 days later all of my nails are chipped and 3 nails are completely polishless, as the gel came off in one single piece. I had to find time to go out of my way to get them fixed. I went in and explained to them how I just got them done and I needed them fixed since they are trashed. They were very rude about looking up my account and when I got them done. They then told me that they dont guaruntee the gel polish to last. I told her I dont either but its been 5 days.. regular polish lasts better. After asking me the same questions I had alreay answered, she told me that she could change out the gel polish for $30. $30 in addition to the $40 I paid 5 days ago!!!!Will never go back. I pay $30 at my regular salon for the same thing and my nails last 3 weeks before they look this bad. Terrible management and customer service skills. Read Less

Unfortunately my opinion of this place has drastically changed; and not in a positive way. When they first opened they truly cared about the customer's needs and comfort level along with providing a clean environment. This is no longer the case. The air quality was no linger clean. My visit was rushed and I was left with the feeling they could care less about their clients. Also, the massage chairs for pedicures were absolutely disgusting and dirty. I have been eyeing this place for months, I see it every time I go next door to Lunchbox, and always make a plan to schedule an appointment! I made an appointment through the yelp app, they were super quick to respond and squeezed me in towards the end of the day for an SNS manicure. I met with Kevin, and he was amazing! have been going to herbal nails for about 3 years. I started off at this location with my mother. every time I have gotten SNS manicure's here at least 2 or 3 break within the first week of having them on. They tried adding an extra layer to see if that helped it did not. After about 6 months there was a second location opened on 1-17 and Happy Valley closer to my home at the time. I started going there...they were about $8 dollars cheaper, customer service was better, and my nails stopped breaking! I recently moved back to Scottsdale and came back to this location to give them a second try. After my first manicure back, 6 nails broke within 9 days. I came back on day 7 (the warranty time period) they said I didn't have an appointment and turned me away to come back Friday they would still fix them for me...I didn't need to schedule an appointment. I came back Friday after work...a lady told me she couldn't get me in I offered to come back in an hour she said OK I told her I was not willing to pay because I was turned away on wednesday (day 7) and she said ok. I came back an hour later to the same lady saying she only stands behind the product for 7 days and I will have to pay to fix the 6 nails that were broken. I asked to speak to a manger that was the manager. I love SNS manicures, I love herbal nails. However, the Scottsdale location has proved to show poor customer service, they don't stand behind their product what so ever, and they are always running behind and over booking clients. I am hoping many others don't or haven't had my experience but if you are hard on your nails do not go to this location because they will not fix your nails if you break them and they charge more and do their manicures too quickly with little care. Nails turned out beautiful, my little gal spoke no English, I was getting a manicure, when I was suppose to be getting a full set, we worked it out 😊The tools are packaged an put through the sterilization, however the files are passed between nail techs. The salon is clean and services are efficient. The quality is extremely inconsistent from tech to tech. I've had pedis there that last 3 weeks no chipping, and others that chip within days. The most frustrating is when I spend $40 on a mani, with the SNS (powder) gel and it chips, cracks or lifts within a week to week and a half. My wife has the same issue. We've had it done there and other places and it lasts an average of 3-4 weeks, sometimes up to 6! At this place it's anywhere from 1 to 5 weeks, with no consistency or change in our routine. Don't waste your time on "s and s" nails here . Shaping was below average . My middle fingers are different shapes lol ! She cut too deep on one finger and I bled for a bit , she claimed I am "sensitive " . The final polish (clear ) is bumpy . I went back 30 mins later to show the guy up front and he told me to come back another day. (big sign says , if you are not happy - let them know ) Asked for a refund and was yelled at . Other customers saw and came up to be after in... the parking lot to ask what had happened . Completely embarrassing and uncalled for from this man . Do not choose Lynn if you come here . Spent $170 here for pedicure and "s and s" nails . Great tips for both techs. I always tip well to any tech . Shame on this place .
