I got a pedicure from them this weekend and while my toes ended up nice, the service itself was not great. The girl, who I never got a name from, kept tapping my leg when she wanted me to do something, I get the feeling she did not know how to tell me what she needed me to do. On top of that when I asked for her to put a coat of glitter polish on my toes she looked very confused and had to ask someone what I was saying. Then when she was finished she told me to wait a few, and when I asked if she could please let me know when I could leave as I didn't want to mess up my toes all she said was for me to wait 3-5 minutes and I could go, she then walked away and I never saw her again. I am not happy!!  This salon & the nail tech were recommended to me, so I made an appt.  They asked for my phone #.  I arrived on time to see my nail tech just beginning what looked like a full set on someone else!!  A walk-in maybe???  This was still in the AM!  How far behind can you get in the first 2 hours of the day?? I was told to go sit & that the wait would be 30 minutes!!   Excuse me...I had an appt. PLUS I have never seen anyone do a complete set in 30 minutes!!!!  So they lied to boot!!  I'm sure I would have waited AT MINIMUM 1 hour!       I did not receive an apology, & received no response when I asked why they didn't call me if they were so far behind!  (I guess the only reason for asking for my phone # was if for any reason THEY were inconvenienced!!)  How rude & inconsiderate of their customer's time!  I think they forgot that it's the customer that keeps them in business.  Not impressed!!! I originally went to Polish and Pamper due to it's close proximity to my house, but after the amazing service I've received from them I would willingly travel to continue seeing them. Not only is the environment and atmosphere very professional, welcoming and comforting- but every tech/girl who works there is undeniably very sweet, kind and beautiful. I came to this salon a year ago to treat myself with acrylic nails with gel, which I usually just do twice a year. Well I've been going every three weeks since that visit a year ago to get a fill with Sandy. I've never had such strong acrylics! They never lift or chip! It is much, much nicer than any other salon I've gone to with similar price points. I go to Sandy for my fills and I am always in awe of the work she does.
