I was a loyal customer had had been going here for about 2 years... after today I will never step foot in there again. The man that was "working on my nails" was rude and threw the nail color swatches at me instead of finding out what I wanted. The last few months when I go none of your people listen to what someone wants they just go as fast as they can! what happen to customer service??? The front desk man was very nice but both nail techs I had (the two times I went there) were very short and rude. One of the times two other nail techs, who were not helping anyone, sat to the left side of me the entire time, watching my nail tech do my nails, talking and chuckling to each other. I have no idea what they were saying but I found it to be a little rude and unprofessional. The second time I went I asked the nail tech if he could do a Christmas design. He said "yes, show me a picture" so I went on Google and found a picture of a bow. He agreed and after my nails were painted he attempted the design. Now, I'm not trying to be mean, but it in no way resembled a bow and when he showed me to get my approval I was hesitant to say I didnt like it. Instead I suggested he add a line on the bottom to complete the ribbon part. When I was saying that he said "you no like it?" I said "well not really, it doesn't really look like a bow." He immediately started taking the polish off and said "so no design." I responded well I do want it, is there anyone else here who knows how to do it? He responded with a very direct tone "no one else knows how." I left it at that and thanked him for trying. He finished painting that nail and I left kind of confused about why he seemed so irritated from the very moment I sat down. Oh well. I won't be going there again, ever. Oh by the way, $30 for a full set and an additional $5 for a coffin shape, plus I tipped him $5. So $40 to be treated poorly and get an average set of nails. Read Less

Walked in and was immediately taken care of unlike other places I have been. Plenty of nail techs and a great, relaxing atmosphere. Sally was efficient and did an excellent job. I have gone to Happy Feet for pedicures and manicures for over 5 years now. I've been going there ever since they were in the original location before they even expanded that sweet. Today was my first negative experience with Happy Feet. My daughter and I went in to get a full set of acrylic nails each. I had Sally do my nails and I asked before she even started if she would cut my cuticles down because they had grown out. I asked this because I know this is not a normal part of the acrylic nail process. She acknowledged my statement but didn't do it and when I asked her again she acted really put off that she had to cut my cuticles back. Then when she was painting my nails I noticed that there was a little piece of fuzz on my thumb nail that she had painted the first coat over. I brought the fuzz to her attention and she acknowledged it but then just painted another coat of paint over the top of it. My daughter on the other hand worked with Sean and he made a statement to her that he was leaving for the day after he was done with her and so she better not mess up her nails. He said this because she decided to go with regular polish instead of jail. He also greatly Miss shaped her thumbnail. And she said that it kept hurting when he was filing her nails and that he was really rough with the nail file. Again this was my first negative experience with Happy Feet and I don't know if it's because we came in towards the end of the day and they were rushing. Worst experience with a nail salon in Mesa. Vincent did my SNS and was beyond rude. He seriously asked me "what happened to my hair, it looked like I had got into a fight?" I asked him why he made that comment, and he proceeded to laugh and then mocked me. I am 6 months pregnant and I have no clue why he thought it was funny to make fun of a pregnant lady's hair? When I got ready to pay, he snapped his fingers at me asking for my credit card and continued to laugh/mock me. The front desk said he likes to joke with customers and it was beyond inappropriate. Aside from Vincent's lack of professionalism, the salon was going to charge me $40 for SNS and I asked them to kindly nip my cuticles before dipping my nails into the powder. They told me they do this after the powder settles, but I asked them to do it before. They told me they would charge me $5 extra for this request even though it literally did not add any extra work for them. I've been going here for a year and a half now, and for a while in the beginning the service was hit or miss. Some technicians were amazing while others were so-so. Around three months ago I got Kathy as technician, and I've made appointments with her every time since! She doesn't rush to get my nails done, and she makes sure the nails are completely covered in color and shaped to my liking before sending me on my way. I come here somewhat regularly for a basic pedicure. The front desk is great about taking reservations, or fitting you in fast if you don't have one. (They have two long rows of pedicure stations.)I make appointments with Linda. She does a nice job on my toes, and my pedicures seem to last a decent amount of time. They have a good selection of nail polish colors to choose from. If you like your nail tech to chat it up with you, not many techs here seem to do that, but I'm okay with that. They are all friendly, and I use my time in the chair to read or relax. The chairs have massagers in them, and they offer you a small bottle of water during your service. Just had the worst pedicure from Andy today. He cut both my heels with the scrubber and when I said this really hurts and it was bleeding he blamed me saying it was my high heels... Which I had flip flops on. Also waited 45 minutes to be seen when​ we were told it would be 20. I complained to management and received half off. Will never be going back. Read Less

Went in today @ 9 for a quick pedi since I had to be out of there by 10 a.m.  I asked to make an appt in the afternoon for my nails since I was short on time.  The gentleman at the desk told me they could get them both done (full set and pedi!) before 10! I was a little nervous but agreed.  They put Sean on my nails and another lovely tech on my feet at the same time.  Finished by 9:58!!   No short cuts.  My nails and feet look FABULOUS!  Even squeezed in a shoulder massage!   Love this place!! I have been here many times including when they were in the previous location. Unfortunenlty I think they should have stayed where they were. I have gone twice in the last few months to the new location with someone else. The first appointment I specifically asked for a nail technician and was apparently not understood as I got someone else and they said the person I specifically requested was not working( why allow me to book the appointment). No problem I will try someone new, well that turned out to be a bad idea, she had no idea what she was doing. I got gel nails which I get quite often and when I tried to help her through the process it only made it worse. After leaving I thought well they may not be the best but at least gel lasts a while......well, apparently not when it is applied that badly as it lasted only a week when they normally last 4 since I don't have a manual job. Fast forward to last Monday I went in and requested to be sat next to the person I came in with, simple enough. Apparently not because my tech spent the entire time complaining that he wasn't at his desk and kept stating why should he move if I am not even going to talk the whole time. Ummm what. I brushed that off just wanting to get out, well when I asked for a design it went even further downhill as he was AWFUL if they had lasted longer than a week (again) I would have included a photo. If someone is not a good artist(the design was two lines on each nail) then have someone else come over, as I have had in other salons.   All and all I don't recommend this salon anymore as it seems they hired quite a few new people to account for the expansion and they did NOT vet their experience. Horrible!!!!! Stay away from Kevin! He did a horrible job and was extremely rude! I even complained to the manager and his response was this is your 3rd complaint today get your head in the game. I went in there with my best friend tonight 20 minutes before closing. I offered to come back another day if it was inconvenient for them because they closed soon. The lady who did my nails bump my hand and gave me by far the nastiest look ever when she was the one who messed them up. $30 for a full set already seemed outrageous to me but charging me 5 freaking dollars to coffin shape my nails is absolutely ridiculous. Who charges to shape nails? I was here one time before about a year ago and didn't have the best service but I wasn't complaining. But after tonight I will not be returning. Read Less

Should have read the reviews before I went here... I was getting sushi next door and needed to get my nails done so I went because of the convenience. I didn't have to wait long to get in, but the whole thing was a disaster. I had a motorcycle bag and jacket and was made to feel like a total outcast because they didn't have anywhere to put it, so I was asked to stuff it behind a footwash station and I was falling all over the chairs, etc. Next, I asked for a basic gel manicure. I had a bit of length on my nail but asked the girl to make the nail "flat" on top... I didn't think I had to say much after that because I thought that was a normal thing to say... well it turns out that didn't happen at all. I kept trying to say something about it, but about halfway through the session, she randomly switches out with someone else and does it without saying anything, like I have to be right back but had someone helping... not a word. Then, the colors... I had an idea of what I wanted, a dark gray, but because I didn't know the exact color I felt like I was getting publicly shamed. She handed me this contraption that kept falling all over the place I couldn't even look in the light and was rushing me to make a decision... what a disaster. And she wouldn't give me both hands to do this, she just kept grabbing my other hand as if I was inconveniencing her to wait 1 minute to have both of my hands and look through this pinwheel thing... Finally, she kept taking her own nail to get the excess off the sides, but kept taking off color off the sides of the nail, so now some nails have color missing a ways in and it looks like a kindergartener did my nails. I hadn't gotten my nails done in awhile so I was excited to get them done and boy was I severely let down. I would have rather donated the $35 to a person that actually deserved it. In the light (which I wasn't given the opportunity to see the color in) my nails do not look the way I wanted to. And the shape is all wrong... Anyway, I hope this review saves at least a few people from going there because of the convenience... the shop looks great, but that's about it... Read Less

We love coming to Happy Feet! The second you step in the door you are greeted warmly by quite a few people! I've always been taken back quickly, even without an appointment. The salon is incredibly clean and they bring out sterilized instruments still bagged so you can tell they are following the AZ state board rules to the letter. Prices are excellent, and everyone I've gone to really takes their time with each client. I've been in when children have been there?(and even brought my newborn!) and they are all so warm and welcoming to kids, and accommodating to their older population. Parking is great, too. Ask for Sean...he's amazing!! I've been coming here for years (specifically for him and the cleanliness of the spa). I currently drive from Queen Creek for him. He really pays attention to the details of nails and gives a great massage. Recently new owners took over. I really appreciate that they greet me by name and ask how everything was each visit. They keep an electronic appointment book and look me up via phone number which has been a big improvement from the prior owners pencil & paper method. Love this place!! Read Less
