I read the other reviews and decided to try it. Everything they said is true. Tony does a great job and is a lot of fun. A comfortable relaxing place. I have made future appointments and plan to stay with them. It doesn't look like much from the outside but try it. Tony and Kelly have sold the business, I go there every 2 weeks to get my nails done with Jessica who is excellent, I went in today for my normal appt or so I thought when I entered I was greeted with do you have a appt to which I replied yes I do at 4 with Jessica. I was informed by one of the new owners that I did NOT have a appt with Jessica to which I replied that made the appt with Kelly when I was there 2 weeks ago. I was again told I didn't have a appt, would I like to make one.  My answer hell no.  I have been with Tony and Kelly almost since they opened their doors, they always have been  great and did great nail art.  I am sorry to see all of their hard work in building up a very loyal customer base go to waste as I think most of their customers will be lost soon.  Just a note to let you know how nice Tony and Kelly where I missed my usual appt in July of 2015 and Tony called to make sure that I was ok as I never missed my appt and he told by my husband that I had broke my neck and was in ICU on a breathing machine.  Well Tony called and kept checking on me and when I finally got back home he offered to come to my house to do my nails for me. I had to wait for over 2 years to finally go back to get my nails done with them again and they where I Glad to see me again and I was happy to see them again and they treated me great even though I am in a wheelchair and my hands are hard to do they where very gracious about doing my nails. So I thank you Tony and Kelly and I wish you well in Phoenix I know you will do great up there. But I will never go back to La Truce Nails again Green Valley. Deb Powell Read Less

I had been driving a long ways to get my acrylics done nice and thin. I'm SO glad I decided to try La Truce which is so close to home. Tony and Kelly are wonderful!!! Tony did a GREAT job on my nails and made them very thin just like I like them. Kelly and Tony clearly love their customers - they even celebrated one lady's birthday with her and wished all of us a happy Valentine's Day as well.  Very warm and friendly environment - and great service!  They have another return customer - I'm looking forward to getting my nails filled again! Very friendly and accommodating! I haven't had a manicure/pedicure in a long time, decided to try them out based on reviews. Manicure and pedicure are both beautiful (French nails) and enjoyable experiences. Both Kelly and Tony were enjoyable to talk to and attentive to detail. They were also very polite to my mom who came with me but didn't get anything done, and were constantly checking to make sure she was comfortable as well. Very nice people, very good service! Latruce nail salon is  one of the best  salons I  have been to. The owners are polite and want the best  for each client.  They are very  neat and the  salon is always very  clean.  I go to both  Tony and Kelly and have expert treatment from them both. Read Less

First couple of visits I thought I'd found a good salon as owners are friendly. Then, the morning after getting a pedicure from Tony, I had a red, very sore toe.  Ended up going to urgent care where the medical professional noted nicking along lateral edge of toe and a bacterial infection.  I was advised to never go back and to warn my friends.  Owner ignored my $400 in medical bills for doctor visit and antibiotics to treat and was totally unsympathetic to having to suffer through 2 weeks of pain. My husband and I had a last minute appointment for manicures. Tony did wonders for my much needed cuticles.  He was very thorough and gave great insight into what color I should paint my nails. Great little salon, since they are such a small shop I recommend making an appointment rather than just walking in. The don't have a large staff but I think this is what separates them from the other nail salons, they are friendly and driven toward customer satisfaction. The owners are friendly and when performing their services they give attention to detail. They have a good assortment of nail colors. This visit my girlfriend and I had the pedicures. I had the regular pedicure, which for men I think this good. I think at $25 I got a good deal. I am big about taking  care of my feet. My girlfriends pedicure was had the extra services and had the gel color was an additional cost but well worth it. All-in-All we will return..! Read Less

I'm a long term client of Latruce nail salon and get excellent service. When you have a pedicure here you get the most relaxing massage. I go in tired but come out rejuvenated. If not for Yelp, I would never have known about this salon. And, now I must join the previous reviewers in giving LaTruce a five-star salute. The owners are welcoming, the space, with its lavender walls, is cool and relaxing and my pedicure was perfection. In fact, as the massage chair was kneading the kinks out of my back while Tony massaged the pressure points in my feet, I wondered to myself: Have I ever really had a pedicure before? Not like the Nu Pedicure! It included special treatment for my legs and calloused heels along with the best mini-reflexology foot massage I've ever had during a pedicure. (Usually, what passes for "massage" is limp and unenthusiastic, often done with eyes averted as if it's an unpleasant chore.)  Here you're treated like a valued individual. As he worked his magic, Tony explained that this is just one way his family-run salon is different than other salons he's worked in. I will forever be grateful to anyone who takes time to fix orhers' mistakes without bashing me for them.Tony and Kelley went above and beyond for me tonight. Just 2 days ago, I went to my regular nail shop, and had a very bad experience. My nails looked very janky. All different  lengths, some like bubbled chunks, some very flat, none were what I would consider evenly shaped. Anyway, last experience at another place= REAL BAD. I called pretty late after work tonight and they didn't bat an eyelash at me telling them I really needed some help ASAP. I came in, they somehow knew I was the one who called and poor Tony spent over an hour fixing my jacked up nails. Adding  length and taking bulk and putting in the correct shape. They stayed late without getting huffy or upset in any way. They kept apologizing to me, even!  Which is crazy; I was the crazy lady with jacked nails coming in last minute. So, so nice to be treated so kindly. Upfront  about pricing which was appreciated. At that point I would've paid anything to fix them or take them off though. My nails look even better than I expected for being such an overhaul.Will be a returning  loyal customer! Read Less

I went to Latruce to get gel nails, and I chose them because their website looked so nice. However, when I got there I was very disappointed, and frankly, concerned. The salon looked unclean and and not well maintained. There were only two people there and one of them was constantly on their cell phone, and kept talking to the girl doing my nails in another language. There were obviously very dirty towels on the floor by the pedicure tubs, and the tubs themselves also looked dirty. While my nails came out ok, I've had better. I won't be returning to this place.
