Just had a baffling, ridiculous experience here while getting pedicures with my mom and sister. Went to pay with a gift card at the register, and the technician said that they have a new system and she does not know how to make THEIR OWN gift cards work with THEIR system. She insisted that we pay with a credit card, instead of the approximate $75 worth of gift cards that we have, that were just purchased a month ago for Mother's Day, explaining that the owner is out of town o...n vacation so she doesn't know how to make the gift cards work. We told her that we would gladly give her our phone number and name and come back when the owner has returned, to pay our bill. But that it is not our fault as the customer that there is a problem with your system. When my mother handed the technician her drivers license and gift cards, she took pictures of them all, and then said she would hang onto the gift cards until we return, yet she had no way of checking the balance so that we could know exactly how much money was on them. That's basically holding an unknown amount of cash ransom, and completely ridiculous. Then when my mother asked to just hand the gift cards back, The tech would not do it, even after my mother repeatedly asked her to give them back. The tech started to escalate the scene in front of everyone. It was the most unprofessional and childish scene I have ever witnessed at a "business." We should have just walked out instead of standing there arguing aimlessly, however, we tried to do the right thing to pay our bill. My mother ended up handing over her credit card just so we could get the gift cards back and get out of there, which is insanely ridiculous and wrong. It's so unfortunate that Drips decided to handle business this way, as they've now lost 3 repeat customers. We will definitely be returning when the owners get back from vacation to have a word with them and hopefully they do the right thing and return our money. I still cannot believe this happened. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. They obviously don't know how good business is conducted, and could care less about their customers. It's all about the money for Drips. See More Read Less
