Just visited here for the first time! My old nail place no longer worked for my needs and I needed a new place to get my nails done. I am VERY picky and have a few requirements. This fit the bill! My life is very busy so I like quick, decent prices, good quality, and ability to do designs. They managed to blow me away in all of those categories. Really great place and nice workers! I got a pedicure here today, and it was heaven. I was literally falling asleep it was so relaxing. I have gone to many nail salons and this was the best pedicure I have ever had! The woman who did my pedicure was such a perfectionist and she made my toes look amazing! They really pride themselves on their work here! Can't wait to go back! Read Less

The services was horrible the owner was on her phone texting and looking at Facebook the tech didnt speak english and no no skills and left nail polish on my feet after during a messy job on my manicure. I only went because my normal job closes on Tuesday now and I had a meeting to go to. Never again. I do recommend it! Read Less

I'm new to getting my nails done and the first time I went to get a pink and white set at another salon I had a horrible experience that took over 2.5 hours. I rarely get a mani pedi but I go to a lot of spas and high end treatment and this place is high end! SUPER CLEAN! The woman at the front Kim was sooo nice and helpful! IM NOT BIG ON PEDI but this place really is a good job 0'pain or mistakes when clipping( last place I went to did a bad job and hurt clipped to close) plus a massage! After much contemplating I decided to leave this review. I really super hate leaving bad reviews. I am leaving this review mostly with the hope that the owner will see this & make some changes. After being here for only 30 seconds I could sense the vibes were not in my favor, when I heard a customer say to the owner. "I will paint my own nails, remember last time you made them all bubbly." ( & she proceeded to paint her own nails) Why did I continue looking for a color?? I have no idea. I should've walked out after that comment. The owner told me you'll be at "chair 1" assuming I know where that is... finally one of the younger girls started the water then I knew the direction I should be heading. After sitting down & thinking to myself "its okay, it's just a rough start... maybe they will blow me away"... boy was I WRONG. So I am not kidding when I say this but I am wondering if this is slave driven labor. 2 little girls worked on my nails... & when I say little.. the ages are about 15ish... maybe. (So I doubt they were certified, shame on the owner) Although they were so young they did a great job which is why I am giving it two stars. Only complaint I have was the one that did my mani clipped too close to the cuticle causing me to bleed & it didn't feel that great having aceton on it. But once again I blame the owner (maybe mom??), if these girls were certified the technique would have been there & they could be even better.  Also, a HUGE issue I had was the non-autoclaved instruments. They did not come out of a sterilized bag & the little girl dipped them in my dirty water to clean them off. (Ewww) These instruments are covered in bacteria & the only proper way of cleaning them is to sterilize them at a high heat. My mother has diabetes & then nail salon would be putting her at risk by using these instrument on her. (Something they should know if they are certified) I hope I do not get an infection because I will be taking a more serious approach, then just a bad yelp review. & I didn't like the fact that I didn't even feel relaxed because they were working on my mani & pedi at the same time, so I was all twisted & didn't get my awesome chair massage. They weren't even busy so idk why they felt the need to do both at the same time. I felt horrible for even staying...  just because it seems unethical for these little girls to be working there & using dirty instruments. I really did not want to leave a bad review because the two girls that actually did the work did AWESOME. But SHAME on the owner for not properly sterilizing her instruments, having children who are not certified work on clients & talking on her phone loudly during my whole apt. To the owner I hope you read this & take some serious action. Your business depends on it. Read Less

Spa pedicure by Min was fantastic! High attention to detail, thorough, and so pleasant. Will be coming back to see Min(she pronounced it "mine"). Highly recommend you request her too😍 Only gave four because the clean up done on my hands by another tech left some bits of cuticle hanging, didn't clean under my nails after, and unfortunately neglected to give one of my hands the fabulous massage the other received! Went in today for a pedicure. Asked for a standard pedicure and callus remover. The young lady cut my toes several times while filing & my heel is raw, cut, and bleeding from the callus remover. I didn't realize just how bad is was until I got home this evening. I can hardly walk on it. Absolutely the worst experience ever. Read Less

I have been to many locations but this place is by far the best nail salon that I have visited... had my nails done a couple weeks ago and the color lasted 3 weeks and nails still looked fantastic. The gentleman that works there is amazing and he does a beautiful job with the hand and arm massage. He shaped my nails wonderfully and the color came out fantastic. Highly recommended! Read Less

I have been here twice. Both times amazing! I recently moved from LA and have been going to the same nail place there for about 4 years. I was super nervous about finding a new nail person, but I found Kim. She is the best! She stays on trend with what's new and is a perfectionist so not only do my nails looks amazing, but they're the new hottest styles. She is amazing and I am so blessed to have found her. I've received the best full set gel manicures and pedicures at Island Nails, and I've been to salons all over the valley.The staff cares about me! I am always looking for THEE nails salon, one I will keep coming back to and I'm happy to say I have finally found it. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in. She (Kim) was very meticulous with her work and I got exactly what I wanted. My sisters won't go to any other salon, now I understand why. If I could give this nail place (it is not a salon) a negative number of stars I would.  I am in Gilbert visiting relatives and we all went for mani/pedis. The owner did the nails for my two cousins while she was on the blue tooth complaining about her credit card machine. One cousin had to scrape off her own nails because the owner was too slow. As for me, the person who did my nails cut me twice. She kept filing my nails down and apologizing.  Then the owner came over and filed some more. I really think this gal was in training and had no clue how to do gel nails and I was her guinea pig. Shame on the owner!. The person who did my mani/pedi didn't even know how to coordinate both treatments. Do not go here. They are unprofessional and downright incompetent!. I now have scabs on my cuticles and I hope I don't get an infection.  I come and visit Gilbert often but I will never come back here again. Read Less
