Been coming here for the last couple of years. Never super satisfied, but never had a "bad" experience."  But anyways, called this morning to schedule regular pedicure, gel manicure. Lady tells me come at 2pm. I show up at 2pm and they said they don't have anyone and that they told me 3pm.  Nope, their mistake. Guess it's time to be taking my business elsewhere. Read Less

First of all, if you call they want you to make an appointment (even though they take walk ins). The last time I went in, I had an appointment, but I still waited 25 mins, before they gave me a seat for pedi. Then I sat in that water (which became ICE COLD) for 45 mins. I seriously was getting up to leave, when the girl finally sat down to start my feet. When they finally got to my hands (over the phone I was told $20 for nails) she began taking off the polish, with the drill type tool. Then she filled and said "you want polish? That $20". Well of course I want polish, lol. As she started working on my cuticles, I had tears from the tremendous pain I was in, as she used the SAME DRILL!!! It was like someone was burning my fingers with a lighter. It hurt so badly it was almost unbearable. Then she painted. My nails looked awful and the cuticles were bleeding. Oh AND AFTER she painted them, she filed them! So my polish looked chipped Walking out the door. All said and done I paid $80!!!! I got the basic pedi, mani refill, and polish. Plus my tip. It was not deserved but I wouldn't feel right leaving without a tip. I do NOT recommend this place. I found a place that does a much better job and charges me LESS than half the price for both feet and hands. Read Less

My friend and I recently visited Fountain Hills Nails for a mani/pedi.  We did not have appointments, it was a Saturday, and we had tried multiple other nail salons in town before stopping in here.  Everyone else turned us away, saying they were too busy (although most did not look that overwhelming busy to us).  We were greeted promptly and in a friendly manner.  This place was rockin' busy but immediately made us feel welcome and said they could get us in within 30 minutes, which they did.  We grabbed a quick snack next door at Euro and went back for our nails.  The salon is clean and the pedi chairs are nice looking, comfortable, and fitted with changing lights in the water for a cool effect.  There are 3 types of pedi available, I went with the basic for my first visit (it included hot stones which I didn't expect).  My toes look just great.The techs were all very friendly and pleasant to work with.  I got gel nails, which unfortunately peeled after a week.  I am going to blame my obsessive hand washing more than their skills for this issue.  I would certainly return to this location again and I recommend you give them a try as well.  We need to patronize the quality businesses here in town and I believe this is one of them.
