I was very disappointed when I left. I should have followed my right kind and leave when I requested Stephanie to do my nails and she said she had a client. I was a loyal and frequent customer at this salon along with my mother for somewhere between 3-6 years. My experiences were great for awhile when I had Viv as my nail tech and Nam as my pedicure person. I would come in every 3-4 weeks religiously for a fill and for a pedicure with no issues. Viv ended up leaving after somewhere between 1-2 years there and I ended up going to Stephanie both for nails and pedicures from then on. Again, things were great for awhile, but over the past year or so this place has really soured for me. The treatment I received from Stephanie (and Stephanie ONLY -- Nam is WONDERFUL and I have been treated very nice by other employees) is really abhorrent. Her attitude has progressively gotten worse over the past year and it's probably because they overwork her as she is the only person who does acrylic nails in there. Most days she works all hours of the day with very little break and they seem to overbook her a LOT. I understand that's not her fault but the way she treats her clients is all her. I've been really frustrated over the past year because almost every time I came in for an appointment I have booked weeks in advance she is always running late! Not 5 minutes late. We're talking consistently she'd at least run anywhere from 10-15 minutes to upwards of 30-45 minutes late almost any time me or my mother would come in for our appointments. She would then leverage over my head all the stuff she does for my mother and I (mainly my mom though) and that she squeezes us in so we shouldn't be mad that she's late. Not fair to me considering I never did last minute appointments except on the RARE occasion a nail would break and my regular appointments were always booked well in advance.The last straw for me was when I came in early one morning with my mom to get my nails fixed as one thumb nail had the nail polish just rubbing/chipping off within maybe a few days to a week of getting them done. I get gel acrylic done so this shouldn't have been happening and hadn't happened before. Stephanie was late to the time she specifically picked. She texted my mom to let her know she'd be maybe 10 minutes late tops but no joke she showed up maybe 30-40 minutes later without any notice that it would be later than 10 minutes. She came in without even apologizing at any point for her lateness which really put me off. I went first to get my polish fixed and had already said in advance I just wanted her to redo the polish on all of my nails and that's it to ensure none of the others would rub off as well. Clearly knowing she was going to run over her next appointment due to her lateness to ours, she tried to talk me out of it and said it would be just fine and only to redo the thumb nail. I wasn't comfortable with that and stuck to wanting to redo the polish on all to be safe as I didn't want to have to come back before my next fill and pedi. Especially since I was going out of my way as it was every 3-4 weeks as I no longer live in Chandler anymore (and haven't for the past few years). I also made a single comment about how I felt she rushed with me when she did my nails last time because she did.. She ran over my appointment and into the client after me's appointment because she ran late as per usual and she was rushing to get me done as fast as possible. She proceeded to catch an attitude with me and remind me how much she does for my mother and I -- yet again -- and that she didn't rush and that was "rude" to say. It was a simple (and accurate) comment. Yet she made into this huge thing and really upset me to the point of tears because of her tone and things she said. You don't pay someone to treat you like garbage and upset you. If I wanted that, I could go to one of my family gatherings and get the same treatment for free. She also kept making a point for me to turn my thumbs up in the UV light thing or whatever you call it as if to say it was my fault the nail polish chipped off.When my part of the appointment came to an end, I rushed out to the car as soon as possible because I was that upset. Come to find out later from my mom that Stephanie charged 25 DOLLARS for a SIMPLE nail polish change that came from my nail polish job failing to keep up only a short time after it was done. And my original nail job was with glitter on it but I opted to do a nail polish change to black to make life easier for both Stephanie and myself. On top of that, the nail polish still chipped again with this $25 paint job! I just can't believe after how much money my mom has spent at this salon and tipping Stephanie that she'd do both of us like that. I think it comes from the fact that she knows she's the only one who does acrylics so who else in the salon would we go to? Here's the answer: another salon!P.S. After going to another salon, I also learned this place is WAY overpriced!! The cost of a brand new acrylic set with a design and gel at my new salon is cheaper than a gel acrylic fill at Nailspa! I've been coming here for nearly 20 years and the previous owners Tam and Danny were fantastic I loved this place recommended to all my friends! Anna is the sister and took over and all was good. But then Anna went on maternity leave and the place went to hell.  The worst pedicures I've ever had they rush and I feel like an assembly  Line. My friend and I got two  different types express and standard and and we were treated all like express people are coming in the door and they were starting  them before they finish us it was horrible.  I will never go back.  It's a shame because it was a really good place. Went today as a walk in for a Fill and Pedicure to try this place because of the great reviews I've seen. I'm pregnant and due any day so this was my last treat before the baby arrives and my nails just came out ok. The staff was super friendly and the shop was clean but the work wasn't detailed or thorough. I had a man work on the pedicure and a women do my fill and both paint jobs were streaky,uneven cuticles and just not clean looking. Also with tip it was about $82. I love how convenient this place is to shopping in Chandler. The only thing missing from the shopping center is a coffee place! Nailspa recently, or maybe not so recently because I don't live in Chandler anymore, changed out their chairs. They had cute white thrown-like chairs which made the spa feel more decadent than it probably is. I always felt that it looked impressive and classy. Now they have traditional massage chairs. I think they are brown. Eh, they work fine but now Nailspa just blends in with every other nail salon in the area. In terms of service and quality of the experience, my pedicure lasted almost a month. Great work! And quite relaxing. They are meticulous and kind. They are really all about customer service which is quite refreshing (not really the case in salon in CT where I currently live). I give the decor 3 stars but the service 4.5. We had been predominantly been getting gel manicures and pedicures. The gel manicures were some of the best we ever had in Chandler.  I had been also getting my eyebrows waxed there and they had done a great job.  My daughter needed a basic bikini wax for a swim party so I did not hesitate to take her to Nailspa....what a HUGE MISTAKE.  I had called ahead for pricing -  I was told it was $25. What should have taken 15 minutes, took over 35 minutes.  My daughter finally calls me from the treatment room and asked me to bring the bump prevention lotion in as the salon didn't have any.  I was taken aback by that, but did not say anything. My daughter walked out sheet white and the bill was $40!!  I contested the price and the lady said, "Well, we took more."   When we got in the car, my daughter still had wax all over her bottom and bikini line.  The lady hadn't even cleaned her.The final result was that my daughter nearly had a full Brazilian wax!!  The lady that waxed my daughter had told her Brazilian's are the only type of waxes she did.  The lady went on to say,  "...... it's not the cost that matters, it's the amount of pain one can handle....".  Are you kidding me?!  Who says this to someone else's little girl while they are supposed to be giving them a bikini wax?  As if the measure of womanhood is gauged by being able to handle having your pubic hair pulled out?  This woman even went on to ask her if she wanted what was left of her hair plucked into the shape of a heart!!  Wow, this lady is a true class act.  Again, my daughter is a 15 year old girl. My daughter told me she did not know what to do.  She was so embarrassed and afraid to say anything.  Not only was my daughter put in a severely awkward situation, my daughter was completely manipulated into accepting a service she did not want. I have to tell you...I was very impressed. I had acrylic nails for years and with the constant lifting, I decided to take them off for a while. I have kept them off for a year but since my hubby bought me a new ring, I wanted my nails to look great! My daughter and I found this nail salon while out shopping and I decided to try them again. I have to say that I am so glad I did. They were so friendly and he did a fabulous job! I have had them on for over two weeks and just now need to get a fill. I was in today 11/26 for a pedicure and was cut by the callous removal tool on my ankle. it bled and stung and was not pretty. I was compensated by a 10% discount. (??) This is not how I would do business if I wanted to retain a brand new customer whom I had just cut a chunk of skin off their ankle. I have gone to alot of places to get my eye brows waxed through out the years... i eye brows kinda grow weird soo it seems like no one can ever do it right... i started going to Nancy about a yr ago and now i will not go anywhere else! they do such a perfect job.
