Found this salon based upon the reviews, and decided to check it out! The location is fairly easy to find, and finding parking wasn't an issue. I was greeted immediately by a gentleman, who was assisting another client with her nails. I asked if they had someone available for a haircut and he said they did, although it would be a few minutes until they were ready. No problem on my end, I was not in a rush. I waited no more than about 20 minutes before Anne came out and asked if I was ready. She did a very thorough shampoo and conditioner wash pre-cut, which I didn't request, but also wasn't opposed to it. According to their price menu, they have haircut prices with the wash and prices without, so let them know if you don't need the wash! Ann took her time with the cut and made sure it was to my liking. I chopped about 3-4 inches off my hair and after she was done, my hair looked so much healthier! No major styling was done post-cut, as I told her I was just going to go out and about with my day. Overall, between the prices and the services, I would definitely come back to Ann for a haircut! I cannot comment or rate the services for their nails, but it seems like a popular place, so I would definitely recommend an appointment, just in case. I haven't been to get a pedicure in forever but my kids decided that they wanted to go and mom need to come too because they love me. They chose this place and I am so happy they did. I had the #4 Lush. My feet felt amazing after. I didn't even want to put on my shoes because of how soft they felt. At the end when I went to pay my card was declined and after calling my bank. I explained what happened and I was having someone bring the money they were "okay,no problem. It happens" my son went in and paid and they told me to come back soon. Went from long square neon blue nails to a mid length almond shape and I couldn’t be happier. I didn’t have an appointment so I waited for about 15 minutes which is no problem. This spot is a diamond in the rough. Clearly a family run establishment, it's not large and fancy like most, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in quality. I'll be honest, my nails don't usually hold a gel manicure for more than a week at best. I'm hard on my nails. I wash my hands frequently during the day as a nurse and I like to tap the tips of my nails on hard objects. I don't normally splurge to get my nails done because why spend so much if they won't last?Well, not only has my manicure lasted twice as long, but my nails are actually growing!! And I've got to say, the price is just right. Previous salons have charged extra for the metallic powder dip. Not only was this included in the final price, but the gel manicure was a solid $5 cheaper. I already have someone who I love to do my hair, but from the looks of the cozy interior this is a one stop beauty pampering spot!! Manicure, pedicure, hair cut, waxing, you could do it all and never leave the building!! Super nice if your on a time constraint and don't feel like shlepping from place to place. My loyalty runs true and deep, it's hard for me to even say this, but I think I've found a new nail spot. Also, they're open Mondays. My last nail spot wasn't. There's a few things i expect from these visits,, I feel comfortable, the staff are hospitable and don't "rush" to get to the next customer.. The other Factor is quality of care... The last place I went to in San Diego, left each toe bleeding under the nails from trimming way to damn close.. I was skeptic to try another place again.... Bus SOOOO Glad i tried this place nearby.. Walked in n noticed they closed 15 minutes ago, but they wanted to take care of me anyways,, (what places do this anymore). They took their time, and did an outstanding job.. I'm able to get both my nails and hair done as a walk in. They're always able to fit me in with minimal wait time. The owner's wife cuts my hair and hands down, is the best hair stylist I've ever had! I've had many bad hair cuts over the years, but never here. Always great and always what I ask for. No surprises! Went in to get a quick pedicure. was asked what service I wanted, which I shared wanted the quick service. (No rock massage or anything) A young lady started the water and went to work. Not I sure she had a license since she had no idea how to do a French pedicure. After messing up the paint job, a gentleman came over to redo the paint.  After being there more than an hour and half, was over charge. When I called the owner,  he basically didn't care. This place was ridiculous, and frankly if someone is starting out or a beginner, they should be practicing on non paying clients.  Will not be going back. Read Less

Went to Lush~ took my teenager. He humors me and was very patient. The staff was helpful and patient with my questions, and demonstrated different types of scrubs and facial masks. I have been going to this shop for years! Never again after today! Went to get French pedicure. Most of my toenail was white. When technician put my scandals on she smudged the white tip on my big toe. I told her there was way too much white on all nails and she would have to do big smudge toe over. What a mess!!! I am new to area so wanted to find a salon close to home. Yelp reviews looked good so thought I would give this place a try. Maybe my nail tech was new but she wasn't going to trim or file my nails. She was starting to polish them and I asked if she was going to file them. She did but very little. When she started to do French polish I could tell she didn't know what she was doing and another person, I think owner took over and polished my toes. So, this will be a quite detailed one. Just FYI. I had come here a few times and loved it. I just never payed close attention until the last time I came in. I got a pedi and gel manicure. Basic right? So my pedi was nice until she started picking at my toe. It hurt so bad! I literally flinched and yelped a little. But I also didn't realize until now that they don't clean their implements. At all. So she kept picking at my feet and I was like "Stop. This hurts" so then she got kinda irritated and gave me a rough painful massage. Whatever pedi was then over. We get to my gel mani and she was taking her time but then another customer came in and she started to rush me. I asked for glitter and she blobbed it on there. I was like um.. Are you going to do another coat? She got irritated again so she blobbed on another coat and it was so ugly I kid you not it looked like a child did it. Then she didn't want to do a top coat so I was like ok...?! (Also I forgot to mention, she kept thinking I was from Mexico.. Which I am not.) I was so irritated I wanted to leave. I gave a little tip to be nice and she told me next time tip me cash. I like cash better. I was like welp there will be no next time. Unless you get Simon do not come here. I relocated down the street about 8 months ago and I've been coming here ever since. The employees are friendly and stations are clean. They do a great job at nails (I've had both gel and acrylic) and the pedicures are excellent. I recently went to another place for a pedicure (went with a friend) and I kept missing Lush instead! Awesome customer service. They'll take appointments and get you in on time! Fair prices and they do a quality job. Large selection of gel colors and they just added several more options! Called here on a whim looking for an inexpensive place for a child's mani / pedi which ended up being $22. SOLD! We drove down and were helped in no time. I did a walk in for an acrylic fill and they got very busy right after I arrived.  While I understand having customers waiting adds pressure I feel like I got a really rushed job.  My nails are all different lengths, not very evenly shaped, and rough on the ends.  Also 2 of my nails started lifting within a few hours. The salon underwent some remodel and it looked great. It is very clean and doesn't have a distinct smell that many other salons have due to the chemical being used there.I took my mom in for a hair cut and color. She was very happy with the outcome. She was rarely happy with other places that I took her until we came to Lush. She would like to come back and this is very strange of her. The cut was even, exactly to my mom's desire and the color turned out to be beautiful. The lady who cut my mom hair was very professional and gentle. She was not very chatty and my mom liked it very much. While waiting for mom, I also got a pedicure and it was nicely done. The massage with hot stone was unique and it was included to the basic package. There are many adds on. What I also like is that there is no up sale. I looked at the menu and chose the service. They didn't ask me if I want to add this and that.I also notice the owner was very good with kids as 2 small kids came in for hair cut. She was patient and careful. Pricing is reasonable to cheap. I called Lush because my regular salon was not open & Lush is close to my house.I was not disappointed. Clean, contemporary & friendly place. I was offered a water.After chemo, my new hair is still very thick but darker with more gray, and it takes a lot longer for color & highlights to work. Labor intensive for any stylist.Ann worked so hard but did a fantastic job of giving me a nicer base color & appropriate highlight. She also cut my hair just as I asked, with no extra layers, as I am trying to grow it all one length long again.She was concerned about my comfort throughout & was pleasant & fun to talk with.  Very interesting & sweet lady. I could talk to her for hours over coffee!Pricing is moderate to pricey, but I have paid more elsewhere & did not like the results as much. I'm also ok with it because of my difficult hair.If you haven't tried Lush yet, give them a chance. This place is a diamond in the rough. I was driving around trying to find a nail salon near my house and came across Lush. I was a little wary since I had never been here before and it was sort of hidden from view, but I was so pleased that I am a returning customer. Vicki is great! Her attention to detail is awesome and she is such a sweetheart. The two other girls are very nice but I have only had my nails done by Vicki. A little pricey for my range. My mom got her nails done for 35 (deluxe pedicure). And I had a hair TRIM (asked her to keep my hair long just layer it out a bit) for 30 dollars. I usually go to this Beauty Brand Salon but it's way on Ocotillo and so I decided to try this Lush store because it's so close to my home. They are well equipped with everything. The one thing that I love though are the sisters running the salon. They are the sweetest, most down to earth salon owners I have ever met. I'll come back mostly for the pedicure probably because it looks worth it, for the haircut, I'll probably skip it. Read Less

Besides a beautiful pedicure and manicure, Lush has the best chairs I have ever experienced!  They are brand new and make you feel as if there is a real masseuse working on your back and shoulders!  Lush is clean and airy, with relaxing music playing that feels very spa-like.  The staff is professional and very nice.  The prices are great and there was not a long wait.  You gotta try this place!
