Worst customer experience I've ever had. They messed up my daughters nails so I went with her and they didn't want to fix them. The second guy was very rude. Then the first guy started to pace around clenching his fists. I finally spoke up and the entire store heard me. They didn't value my daughters loyalty. She's been going there for a while. I was referred to Sassy's by a fellow Yogi and stopped in to make an appointment for a spa signature pedicure. The staff and customers were friendly and I was greeted and addressed in a timely manner. My appointment was with Chandra, who made me feel welcome and comfortable, went iout of her way to chat with me, and gave me a fabulous pedicure. She suggested a manicure which I accepted as the pedicure was so great. The price for both was reasonable and the overall experience was a treat! I'll be back. Read Less

I want to love this place since it is close to home, but it just isn't my favorite. Gave it three visits, but won't be returning.Some of the pedi chairs' massage features don't work. Staff are ok; not super friendly to me, and on every visit were having conversations with each other or on their cell phones, which I felt diverted attention away from customers. Salon itself is ok; not dirty but needs some cosmetic changes: new paint, new linens, chairs repaired. Mani/pedi quality was lackluster. I have gone to Sassy Nails on a regular basis for many years and had excellent service.  Lynn is very considerate and a perfectionist.  I get a mani/shellac and a deluxe pedicure and I have never had anyone do a better job anywhere else. Read Less

When Sassy's first opened, they were spot on!. But over the years they ave gone downhill and gotten lazy. Today took the cake though to make me never want to never give them my business again. When you make appointments for 4 pedicures, days in advance, they should honor those appointments. Walked in for an 11:00 appt and every chair was full, and from where they were in their stages, they had at least 30 minutes to go. What is the point of making appointments? Read Less

DO NOT GO HERE! Most expensive Shellac nails I have ever done and they did a HORRIBLE job. The lady I had wasn't prepared for her shift and she was upset about the color I chose because I am guessing it was a brand that wasn't easy to work with(which means DON'T CARRY CRAP POLISH). Because of the choice in polish she had to do each nail one at a time, all 3 layers one.at.a.time, it was obnoxious and time consuming. On top of all of it, she barely spoke two words to me and filed my nails so short that it actually hurt, never asking if it was okay with me. After all of this I should've had beautiful nails but they were not, I could see my nail through the dark red polish I had picked out and they looked like they had been done by a child. The guy that owns the place doesnt care about his employees and treats them like they are robots not people, thats why the employees are rude and look depressed all the time and end up doing shitty jobs. He doesnt consider that people might actually have lives and accidents happen, he'll just fire someone because of a little accident. Terrible place. Read Less

Worst pedicure ever. 30 min. deluxe pedi for $40. Very weak massage, did not even ask how long or the shape I wanted my nails to be. Then left the shape and lengths completely uneven. I have polish on my cuticles & my feet itch. I watched the woman rinse her tools in my foot water & put back into the drawer. 5 minutes later I watched the same tools be pulled out to use on the person sitting next to me.  I'm going home to wash my feet, even out my nails & repaint. I have been here a number of times for a pedi and last Tuesday went in for one to receive and all-to-quickly done pedicure that has since resulted in my getting an infection in my toe. Very disappointed in this and have no intention of returning here. Read Less

Absolutely love this place! I have been coming here for almost 2 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and I have never been disappointed with their professionalism or customer service. I have been seeing Lisa since I started going there but have also had other techs when she's been unavailable, and they were all excellent. Really can't say enough good things! It would be nice if they took credit cards, though. However, with the quality of experience there, that has (obviously) never been a big deterrent for me :-) Love them! Read Less

New to Anchorage I was looking for a place to get a manicure and pedicure after my move.Thinking the ladies of south Anchorage would not pay to have their nails look bad I headed to Sassy Nails. I was right on the money.The prices are a little higher than I'm used to from the lower 48, but the service is wonderful. My shellac manicures last, on average, three weeks.I've had services performed by Hong and Kathy. They are both amazing and offer suggestions to make the polish pop with a design or art that isn't gaudy.If you do want to give this pace a try make sure you call ahead first. They operate primarily by appointment. Also, no credit/debit cards accepted; cash or check only. They have an ATM in the lobby. Read Less

I drive clear across town just to go to this nail salon. The staff is great!!! The service is excellent. They are clean and sanitized and have a very nice environment. They don't rush you and they do their best. highly recommended!! Read Less
