As I was walking into the shop, it was completely empty and I got kind of apprehensive but asked if they offer shellac anyways. The lady behind the counter told me yes and to pick a color. Another technician came to me with a basket of nail polish ask me to look through them. There were color spots on the bottle but hard to tell what the color really was. So being the good service provider she was and put the color on her nail to show me the exact color. After testing a couple, I picked one that I can live with (since I am in the military, I can only have certain colors on my nails that are in compliance with the regulation). I also wanted a pedi. As I was getting in my seat, a male technician came to my service. I was joking with him and said "I've never had a male give me a pedicure before, are you sure you can do it". He didn't insist on doing it and asked if I wanted a female to instead. I told him I was playing and he was fine, and insinuated that had to know what he was doing. During my treatment I didn't have any real major issues with his technique, besides telling to make sure he got the dead skin from the corners of my big toes. He assured me that he will when it softens up. He took his time and was very accommodating. The owner came to ask if everything was ok, I told yes at that time. As I was getting the pedicure I insisted on getting my nails soaked to get the previous shellac coat saturated. The other female tech did my mani while he was finishing my pedi. The regular mani was ok because I didn't have time to stay for the full upgraded one. During the time I was on the chair they got 8 more customers all within 30 mins. I was glad that I came in when I did. I was done with both treatments and sat on a chair to get my shellac polish on. While I was waiting I noticed that there were still polish that on my nails and that it wasn't smooth and ready for new polish to go on. I let the female tech know and she tried to removed it, first using force with the manual sand buffer and then the metal cuticle pusher (don't know what that is called), then I suggested that she used the electric buffer to sand it off. She finally did. As she started to put the base coat on, the owner told her to go do a design for the lady next to me. They exchanged some dialogue in their language and I could tell that my tech was not happy about it, but went anyways. Already I felt the tension with her, I'm pretty sure she is the owner. While she was painting my nails, I noticed that she was rushing; of course she was worrying about the other customers that were coming in. I wasn't going to say anything as long as it came out good. She didn't say a word to me as she was doing my nails until I asked her about a technique that she was doing. She told me that was what she was trained to do and there are different training for nails and don't question her until she was done. At that moment I almost got up and walked out, but I was wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt and stayed so she can prove me wrong. I was quiet and didn't say a word. While she was painting my nails she made comments to the lady next to me about how good her boyfriend was and being real nice to her. Then while my nails were drying she mentioned to me that when you're in a hurry, time does goes so slow. After my nails dried I wasn't happy with my nail service and told her about it. There were air bubbles in 3 nails on my right hand and one on my left. It was not smooth and a poor job. She insisted that I hit my nails in the box but she will fix it. I insisted that I didn't hit my nails on anything; it was that she was rushing and didn't take her time with me. As she was filing my nails to fix it she said that I was giving her trouble as soon as I walked in. Immediately, I moved my hands from hers and told her that I don't want her service anymore. I got up and walked to the registered trying not to make a scene but she was defended her work by telling me that she had so many years of experience and that I was giving her trouble and that 3 techs didn't wasn't to even do my nails in the first place. I came back with, "if that was the case, then you shouldn't have provided me with the service but you wanted my money". I told her that I was going to pay her because I am a customer with principle and money wasn't the issue, it was the service. She said "oh, you will pay me". I told her that I was not satisfied with her service and her treatment for judging me from the start. Everybody was looking at that time. I paid her and as I walked out I told her that this is a very unprofessional shop. After I left her shop, I thought about the ridiculous price I paid. The total cost was $93. I got the everyday special regular spa mani andspa pedi for $50 and I the polish costs $25 dollars, and I got a design (lines and dots) on my big toes. Where did the other $13 go? I decided that I needed to get it fixed and went to the other celebri Read Less
