VERY sloppy shellac manicure. Unsanitary- tool fell on the floor and she just picked it up and started to use it like nothing happened. Waste of money..... I rarely get my nails done but I was going on vacation and wanted a nice bright color. I got shellac so they'd last longer which I've had before but from a different salon. One of my nails peeled off after 2 days.... By the end of my week vacations 3 of my fingers and both thumbs had no polish. Best place to get a full set in anchorage . They stay on for 3 weeks + and they actually know what there doing . You can bring in any photo and they can do it. Jessica and Evelyn are my fav they are both really friendly. I like how sanitary the pedicure tub is but my French tip doesn't stay on that well. The only reason why I gave it 2 was because the lady was nice. But last time I checked, shellac had to be taken off by them? No? I mean, that was my first time getting it, but I know my big toe isn't supposed to look like that within the first week. And my nail polish shouldnt be peeling off the second to the last toe. So, it's a no for me. They also filed my toes all the way down after I said I didn't want them clipped down. Edit: I'm not sure why, but I uploaded 2 photos and now they're gone. The staff are cordial and the facility is clean. Disappointed in the manicure I received (possibly a new employee). Received the worst manicure I've ever had in 7 years. My natural nails were long, requested my natural nails to be filed to medium length and before I knew it, my natural nails were cut extremely short (just above the nub), then filed crooked. Had a tip placed on one nail and it was cut shorter than my natural nails (below the nub). Very disappointed in the end result. I am so glad I finally listened to my friends who have been recommending this place for years! Song did an amazing job.. I came to her for a fill and she reshaped my nails and suggested a beautiful white ombré with some glitter which I happily accepted. I love that my nails no longer look thick and fat! I am sooo happy with the way my nails came out and I wasn't charged extra for nail extensions, color gel, or the matte finish! $65 plus $5 tip. May be slightly more expensive than other places but it's well worth it. They have amazing employees that can hold up a conversation! I believe my nail artist was named Song. She did a great job. I was a walk in. Greeted promptly and seated right away for my pedicure. Place looks clean, but when I went to sit it stunk pretty badly and the tools the technician used were not in one of those sanitary packets they usually come in. I ALWAYS get a pedicure in Cali and in my hometown Vegas and that's usually how it works. I know it won't be the same everywhere, but when the water goes cold after 3 minutes and I don't see you clean your tools that are just in a random box and you're just putting them back in as you go, I kinda get a little scared. Upside was my technician spoke English and was very nice. A tad tough with my feet, but gave a great massage. She was amazing with massage. If I could pay for just that I would. I'm not sure this will be my new regular place, but I've finally got out and got a pedicure so I think I'll try a few more places before deciding. It's just strange to pay $35 for a basic pedicure. First time I came here I thought the pedicure was outstanding. Second time I thought it was just okay. The technician barely spoke English and couldn't figure out what hot meant. I was like more hot water and she didn't get it. Then the polish wasn't well applied and there was a gap at the nail bed. I had to get someone else to fix it. I've been going to this place for years and they are one of a kind. The owner, Song, works every day and that says a lot about how she runs and cares for her business. She is a true nail artist.She frequently travels to nail conventions and always has the latest greatest nail styles and technologies. They offer an incredible selection of shellac and gel polishes that I've yet to see anywhere ever.The nail technicians have all been there long term, including Erika, who has been there from day one, 7+ years, and is an artist in her own right. Decided to try this place based on the other reviews I've seen and did a walk-in for a mani/pedi. I must say, this place is sooooo cute. Very clean, very nice staff. The young lady who did my nails paid attention to details and gave a great massage. I asked for a shellac mani and it turned out nicely. The total for the mani/pedi was $85, which is a little more than I've paid elsewhere, but the service and accommodations were so nice that I would be happy to go back again! Read Less

My favorite place to go to for a mani and pedi. All of the girls here are awesome! Song always does my nails and I'm picky when it comes to polish and shape. I had made an appointment on June 10 for my mom and I to get a manicure and pedicure. 1. They were not relaxing-We were scheduled for 6pm and only a few minutes after we sat down in the pedicure chairs a line of about 5 people walked in also stating that they had an appointment. This place was not the biggest store and with five pedicure chairs. We both felt rushed instead of feeling relaxed. My mom even had two people working on her at one time. One was doing her foot massage and another lady squeezed between the chairs to start her manicure, to say the least that she was not comfortable. They then moved us over to the manicure tables and finished our pedicure under the tables. 2. They did not seem clean.- My mom is very particular on the cleanliness and unlike other locations this place did not seem to use new or sterilized tools. 3. The shellac was very expensive and did not last a week.I had done shellac for even my toe nails. However a week into my vacation all of the shellac started peeling off, including the ones on my toes. I noticed it when i would put my hair up and my nails kept getting caught. The bottom near the cuticle were peeling back and each one was easily falling off. This is one of the cleanest and neat little nail shop that I've been to in anchorage area. Staff are friendly and prices are also very reasonable. I've only gotten manicure/shellac from here so i don't know about pedicures but one of the best shellac designs I've gotten done! This salon looks so much cleaner and nicer than many of the other nail salons I have visited in the past (I've lived here for 19 years). I'm used to walking into a nail salon with that strong acrylic odor lingering in the air but Beauty smelled amazing. The delicious smell of candles came from the massage room, I was told. I was quickly seated for my pedicure which came with a very long and calming massage (at no extra charge!). Three ladies worked on me between my pedicure and manicure and they were all very kind. My simple manicure looked like shellac after Song was done with me. They put so much effort into making sure you leave their salon with beautiful nails.
