This place is such a joke among my friends and I. Unfortunately, my nail started breaking and I decided to go because they have a student discount. I hate the nail shaver tool and always use foil to get off gel, my manicurist said “that takes too long” and argued with me. I was fine with leaving, but he said he would put on the foil. Then, he cut my nail down without asking if I wanted it cut that much. I’ve been growing my nails out for 2 months and all that progress is ruined. Plus, he cut below where the nail broke so I could’ve just gotten gel instead of dip. I was so angry I couldn’t relax, I wanted to leave right then and there. We went the rest of the time without speaking and it was very uncomfortable. When I went to checkout, the girl didn’t even ask if I wanted the discount so I should’ve just gone to a better salon and paid full price. DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! So I had one lady start my nails, she quoted me a price of $45. Half way thru I’m telling her I was not satisfied with my nails so she gets an attitude and gets up saying she wasn’t about to do them or finish them. So manager steps in and starts on my nails but have someone else finish them. My nails are different lengths and just horrible. He charges me $55. I will never be back it recommend anyone to this poor establishment! The customer service is just bad. Read Less

I was pleased with my nails initially but after a couple of days one of my nails cracked! I went back with my receipt immediately and simply asked them to fix it. I was met with awful customer service! The man that works the front asked me if I wash my hands, which I replied yes I wash my hands! He then said well your nails will chip and crack. I told him I have been to several nail shops in the area and dip powder should last at a minimum of 3 weeks. He then rudely asked me to find my color and he would fix it. Well, I had a hard time finding my color and he scoffed at me as if I was lying about ever being there (mind I have the receipt). He hastily fixed my nail and jumped up without telling me thank you or anything!! I left upst! I will never go back here! There are several other nail shops with better customer service!! Read Less

ASK FOR ITEMIZED RECEIPT. I was asked several times (after I selected my polish) if I wanted gel polish. My daughter was getting her nails done while I was on the other side getting mine done. The tech switched the polish from a regular polish to a gel polish. Each time I was asked my reply was "no thank you, this is her polish (pointing to the reg. Bottle nxt to her hand) 2 wks later we r getting her fill, in at a different salon, and the tech says "ma'am u said this was regular polish but look(soaked cotton ball rubbing over the nail) its not coming off, this is gel." So I was charged additional money to remove it, and I was charged at this salon when I specifically said (AND SELECTED) a bottle of regular polish. Love this place. I’ve been going since they have opened up and i always get amazing service. I recommend them to anyone who asks where i get my nails done. The nail technician always offers great advice on nail colors and even brought me to the world of Nail Dipping ( I’m an acrylic person) and I’m obsessed. I don’t know how people have had a bad time there but I love the service, quick, efficient and always flawless. And i always get compliments are my nails! Read Less

I've had Mia working as my service animal for 17 months now. Even in the early stages of training in public we never had a problem with a public business. Mia has always behaved well. Today when we entered this nail salon for the special bridal party mani and pedi, the owner told me I would not be allowed in because I had Mia. He even had the audacity to ask if I was sure she was a service animal. He also explained people would be afraid of Mia. I told him I was positive she was a service animal, people's fears are not reason to reject a service animal, and that yes, we would be staying for our scheduled appointment. Then, we were given a seat away from the rest of the party so we'd be out of the way. One of my sisters joined us so we were not completely isolated and Mia did perfect lying beside me during the pedicure. If all of this was not embarrassing enough, a nail technician (Naomi) face-timed someone and, speaking in a foreign language, turned the phone to capture Mia at length during her conversation. When I called her out, she acted like she was doing nothing wrong. The owner then came back by to just stare at Mia while she lied beside me. I explained she was working and to not engage her. He kept staring and chuckling. Also, the nail technicians do not use clean nail instruments unless you specifically request they do so. Don't ever go to this rude a** place, the reviews was right. I went in at 1230pm and still didn't get any services, they put 5 ppl in front of me, then tell me at 115pm everybody don't do SNS NAILS. I just got up and left bc it should've been told when I came in and request the service, then u went to explain it to me in a rude voice like im not paying u for the service (Oh hack nawl, i started to bring out the ugly but im in town for my son). Wanted to get acrylics removed. The lady in the front was extremely rude and then my acrylic nails were removed very forcefully, to the point where they are still sore. Will not be returning; typically they have good service and are nice but for some reason, not this time. Read Less

I've never seen acrylic nails look as bad as mine did after going here. The sides of the nails were lifted up after three days. When I went back in to get them fixed they barely did anything and acted like they looked great. Read Less

I had a fabulous experience here. It was my first time to try the Nail Bar. First of all, the place is gorgeous and sanitary. My pedicure was great. I also got powder nails for the first time and they were SO pretty. My nail tech knew a lot about the process and how they are better for your nail. I highly recommend! Read Less
