There is a reason I have 3 stars and it's because Linda did my hair and it was beautiful. However...I went in at 8:45 to be pampered before my wedding as well as two of my bridesmaids. I had already told them what I wanted before hand at our consultation. I was also quoted $120 for everything I wanted done. I got there the day of my wedding only to be told that they do not do acrylic nails, only natural. I wanted acrylics and has previously stated this and was told that wasn't an issue. So I settled for my natural nails. Well not even and hour after having them done, mine and my bridemaid's polish started chipping off. WE HADN'T EVEN MADE IT TO THE ALTER YET! I Also had my makeup. However they had written my time wrong so when they found out I needed to leave by 11 and not 12 they started rushing. So while Linda was doing my hair, there was a girl doing my make up. Reminder, it was 100 degrees outside and I AM THE BRIDE!! They didn't put any thing on my face to keep the makeup intact, my eyeshadow looked like my 4 year old colored it on with a marker, my eyeliner came off before the wedding started! On top of all that, I wanted to know about fake lashes. I told her I didn't want to pay extra for them but if that wasn't an issue than yes, I wanted them. She put on a pair made from the brand KISS that is found in drugstores and sometimes the dollar tree. I didn't mind that, I thought it was part of the whole package. However, they were not shaped right for my eyes, she didn't put mascara on them so they didn't blend well with my natural lashes. My lipstick wasn't even the right color but by this time I was too close to my deadline and rolled with it. My mistake. I get to the register and the 120 i was quoated then became 130, then they said "Oh she got lashes." ...then they added $10 FOR ONE PAIR OF CHEAP LASHES!!!! I said whatever, paid with the cash I had which was 140, which meant they missed out on a bigger tip I had planned on leaving. On top of that, my bridesmaids were not impressed either. All of our makeup had come off, especially mine. Luckily I had someone at the church who fixed it for me the best that they could. This pretty much ruined my big day. I am not a critical person but this was a huge thing for me and I had high hopes, as I should have for my wedding and for a salon who is said to be professional. I purchased a 60 minute massage via Groupon as a surprise for my mother. My father was to act like he was taking her to lunch, but actually drop her off for her appointment! I called the salon, and was able to schedule with ease an appointment for the very next day! I informed the receptionist this was to be a surprise, and I would like to go ahead and have the Groupon code on file so my mother would be able to just come in, get a massage, and leave. She said that would be no problem, and asked me to text the code to her. Everything was set! Of course my mom had no idea about any Groupon or even the fact that she had a massage scheduled until my father dropped her off at her appointment. I recieved a call from my mother about the time her appointment should be ending, and was expecting a happy and relaxed voice on the other end. She was frantic and confused and probably embarrassed. The receptionist Judy was asking her for the Groupon code. I was put on the phone with Judy, and explained to her the entire point of me calling yesterday was to avoid my mom even having to "checkout". She then said "oh, i just found the paper with the code." No apology or anything. All she was concerned with was the fact she needed me to mark the code "redeemed" on the app so it cant be used twice I'm sure. We got off the phone, and a few minutes later my mom called to tell me how rude Judy was to her. I'm so extremely disappointed I went to such great length to make this an enjoyable experience for her, just for her to be bullied at the checkout counter. At this point you may bring asking, why have you left 4 starts instead of 0? That is because my mother said MARY provided her with an AMAZING massage, and despite the unfortunate encounter at the end of appointment, she will be going back. I have been coming here for several years to have my hair done and I see Nancy, she is so awesome . I showed her a picture and that’s what she did! Nancy is so accommodating and such a pleasure to talk with . The lady that washes my hair, her name escapes me at the moment, but she is fabulous !!!! If I tell her I’ve had a rough day she really gives me a GOOD hair washing! LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!! So thankful for my 90 min massage that my husband gave me as a gift but I was really displeased with my service I got from my massage therapist this evening, first myself and another lady waiting for our massage we met both of the therapists, once they knew my massage was 90 mins they were both talking to each other, my massage (Lana) therapist tells the other therapist ( Mary) that her massage was for 90 mins and she gives a smile as if she's really not looking forward to ...it, the other therapist replies and says good luck with that, that was the start of how they made me feel bad for my massage being as long, then not long in the massage she goes into a conversation (one of many during my service) to tell me she was so hungry because she hadn't had the time to eat anything and that all she had was a few cheeseitz and a white peppermint mocha frappicino (felt really bad) there were moments during my massage where I believe she nodded of for a split moment because her hands stops , I was noticing that she was using mainly 1 hand during and repeating the same move, during the start of the massage the pressure used was OK, then it went to mainly feeling fingertips, no pressure just fingertips. There were moments where she did massage my stress points well with the right amount of pressure but it didn't last long before she went back to the fingertip move. My massage mainly felt as though nothing but massage oil was being rubbed into my body, nothing more. Until she decided to stretch my body, I've had massages where they did stretch me, but this lady was making noises that you make when you stetch when getting out of bed, and the way it was done was a way I've never seen. She talked so much, I knew more about her personal life, like her 6 year old niece who knew what traffic signs meant, not seeing Bart that often unless she sees in Walmart, her brother and sister in law in North Carolina who's having a new baby and not knowing what their having or what they are naming it, about her identical twin sister, being 9 minutes older then her. The conversations kept going, I could not relax, I closed my eyes and the next conversation starts, I even noticed her keep looking at her phone to see how much longer I had left in my massage. Lord I try to see God in things but I needed a REAL massage today and I didn't get it. Ms. Lona was a sweet person but as far as my service went, I was not pleased at all. Before going in I was hearing good things about Mary from a client who finished his massage, so I was enthused, I walked out feeling the same way I walked in if your paying for service I believe you should be happy with the service you get. I am thoroughly unimpressed after my visit to Phoenix Salon. I needed a color for a couple months worth of regrowth. Stephani seemed nice and competent but by the end I had thick chunky yellow stripes when I'd asked for platinum blonde (which is the color of the rest of my hair). She didn't take the color all the way to the root and didn't shampoo my hair after applying toner. To make it worse, she cut my hair while I was sitting. I have long hair, I have to stand for cuts otherwise I get what I currently have, uneven hair. She kept insisting that they had bad lighting which is why my hair might look orange. My daughter and I came from out of town to visit my son and have a much needed relaxing get away. These ladies are awesome. I had a hair cut, style & shampoo. My daughter had her hair colored, cut, and styled. She had a picture of how she wanted her hair, it turned out even better than that picture. I was never greeted bc 2 staff members were arguing about some computer overbooking issue and a staff member calling in. Then, my facial was the absolute worst. It was being completed by an Oriental girl, and she kept walking in and out of room to answering phone calls. Even during the facial I could hear the buzzing throughout from her texting. Finally, when I went to pay, I was charged more than quoted ( I was quoted $112). By this time, I was ready to just leave. I called the manager regarding this and she was no better than the staff members, very rude and unprofessional. She even had the audacity to blame me for her staff members behavior. I hope she enjoys the $150 I overspent for a facial and massage bc I will never go to this spa again. Read Less

Krista Perkins is back in town and working at the Phoenix Salon and Spa. I was the lucky one to be her first client in her new home. Very pleasant atmosphere. Love Krista's free spirit and spunky personality. I strongly recommend her if you need any thing done to your hair (cut, highlight, low lights, lip and brow waxing, coloring-I have had purple, teal, and blue). So glad that Krista is home! Went to Phoenix for the 1st time today. I had an hour massage with Kerry. It was WONDERFUL! I went in with hip pain and 7 hours later I still feel GREAT!! He was very Professional and knew exactly how to work out my stress and pain. Nicole did my nails and was very nice and personable! She did an AWESOME job! I will definitely be back!! I went in not knowing what I wanted but the staff was extremely helpful.  They took great care of me and I have no complaints. It's always hard moving somewhere new and finding a good hair salon but Phoenix was great.  As far as hair salons go, it's not too expensive either. Read Less

I loved my experience at the phoenix salon and spa. My mother-in-law made appointments for my entire bridal party and me for the day of my wedding and let me tell you, I had the best day getting ready for my wedding!  The ladies were amazing.  I got my hair, makeup, a manicure, and pedicure done at the spa.  There were six of us in the group, including my mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and my two bridesmaids.  My husband loved my hair, makeup, and nails.  Terri Soto was amazing!  She did everyone's makeup for the wedding, so anyone looking for a makeup artist, I fully recommend Terri!  I will definitely come back to the Phoenix, thank you ladies for all of your wonderful work! The massage therapists were both very skilled and professional.
