This place is a total rip-off! I paid $45 for a full set of nails; I came back a few weeks later, for a fill-in and I was charged $45 again. At any other nail salon that I have visited, a fill-in was always cheaper than a full set. I will never go back to this place again. I just recently started going there and after going there afew times I can’t see myself going anywhere else for my nail care needs. In fact I trusted them so much I brought my mom who has diabetes and has to be extremely careless who does her feet& she’ll only allow a woman to do her feet (bad past experiences) she only prefers one lady to do it and she makes time to do them for her...she was pleased and has been a repeat customer ever since. I tried this place out this past Saturday (3/3/18) and needless to say I will not be back. I received a pedicure and a full set for a total of 110$. Let’s start things off by saying-I DO NOT MIND paying that price IF the work is up to par. However, the pedicure was VERY mediocre and rushed it’s not like I received wine or a bottle of water with that price. He rushed through the entire process maybe because it was his lunch time or something because he went straight to his food after leading me off to the young lady who started on my nails. One thing I did not like-One person would start on my nails and a new Customer would come in and then they would go to that person then someone else would come work on my nails or just leave me sitting there without saying a word. I was left sitting in my chair twice and each time they would say “oh go wash your hands” like I was just supposed to know exactly what to do because no one consistently was working on my nails and I couldn’t tell if they were done or not. Even at the end when the young man was “done” with my nails-in which I could not tell because they were not done neatly-he then just walked off saying nothing. The young woman who started on my nails was working on someone else and left me just sitting there then finally I guess she saw me looking there like a lost puppy and brushed me off saying “go pay”. Put in mind I have never been here before plus she was telling me to go pay but no one was at the register to pay so I’m standing there irritated at this point so finally the man in the chair (front right as you walk in) stopped doing this lady’s nails and allowed me to pay. For 110$ this was not worth it. My pedicure was a 25$ pedicure AT MOST. And my nails look as though an inexperienced apprentice did them. I was so upset with myself when I left there. Not one time did they ask me what type of pedicure I wanted they just started on my feet. It wasn’t really busy until I started to leave so that’s not an excuse as well. My advice if you are new to this place-specify what you want and what the prices will be. And if you are a stickler of the same person working on your nails then I’m not sure if this place is for you. The prices were jacked up for me because I guess they could tell I was new. I was displeased with the customer service I received. When I get my nails done, it should be a relaxing experience, however, every time I go to this location, it is far from relaxing. In addition, if one person begins my nails, I expect the same person to finish my nails. Also, in regards to pricing, this place post their prices, but continually up charge once you go to the register. Tip: Before you get your nails done, explain to them what you want, and get a specific price. Apparently, the advertised prices are false. I've been a regular at Nails Capital for several years. They are family owned and operate 7 days a week (except for major holidays.) The salon hours are convenient and the service is friendly. You might find newer or fancier places to have your hands and feet scrubbed, but you won't find nicer people than at Nails Capital. They are able to meet special needs and will take you any time with no appointment necessary. You'll be treated as warmly if you are the first customer of the day or that person who shows up 10 minutes before closing time! Not bad. This review is based on a Saturday afternoon service. I got the deluxe pedicure. The chairs were comfortable and they offered a lot of functions. The service was prompt. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The nail tech was not too bad. She was friendly and did massage the legs like should be done for deluxe service. Price was $35 dollars for the service.
