This place was great. I walked in around 5 (on Valentine's Day). I wanted a set, a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. Sandy did everything. Which I enjoyed because I don't like it when everyone does something different (for the purpose of the tip). I showed sandy a picture and she did a fantastic job. Got a no chip manicure about a week ago and my nails look AWFUL 😤😤 They were strong and unbendable before with my last no chip and now they are broken off and very chipped. I always get my real nails done because I have naturally long nails with a gel coating. One of my nails still has the paint from the LAST nail session I had over a month ago. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY!!! My nail broke after 6 days of a new full set of nails . I literally picked up my purse and my nail popped off during dinner , how embarrassing. I call to let them know , and the guy who answered yelled and said "we are not responsible for a broke nail after 1 week" I didn't know 6 days meant a week . Visiting from California, took my adult daugters and sister in law to get our nails done. The older man who did my pedicure rushed, no rubbing of leg and feet. The lady who did my younger daugter's pedicure was also in a rush, was obviously unhappy and had been recently physically abused. The young man who did my older daugter's pedicure was sweet. The young man who did my sister's manicure, pedicure and brows had been overly flirty with my daugters. At the time to pay I told the older man I wanted to pay for all, he charged my card for just mine, $25, then when I told him to charge the rest to my card it declined the $75 until I told my bank yes I am making these purchases and then the old man to run again and he refused and told me cash only and charged me $120. When my sister was done the young man charged another $45 on top of that, totalling $190. I feel I was robbed. I asked for a reciept and they scribbled numbers down on a paper without description and incomplete. This had been my worst experience ever. Read Less

THE WORST! I scheduled an appointment for Ben. I wanted a full set and a pedicure. When I arrived, I waited for a hour. After telling another man I had an appointment for Ben, he told me Ben wasn't there but there are several other good nail techs. So.. they did my full set first.. my nails were pretty. After, they did my pedicure. She did my pedicure in nearly 10 minutes because it was close to closing time. She insisted on using gel color, but I wasn't paying $20 extra for gel toe nails. She polished my toes and said she was leaving. Now one week later, two of my nails are already broken after paying $70 plus a tip. Bad customer service all around and poor quality nails. Read Less

The worst ! If i had the option of giving them a negative 1 start i would...I don't know what it is with these nail salon in Montgomery but they are the worst! There's a guy named "Lucky" that works here as well as another black male that does nails and both time my experiences were horrible ! The guy Lucky actually cursed at me then proceeded to tell me to leave the nail shop as if he is not just a "worker bee" there lol..but it was horrible..they do have good people there like Nathan and Ben but once someone disrespects me when i'm paying you for a service then it makes me not want to go back period..But i was extremely upset with the behavior and to top it off the owner only took $3 off of my nails...& allowed this man to curse at me..Lucky needs to be sent back to wherever he came from if he can't come to work, do nails, be respectful and go back home.Women come to be pampered, not to be disrespected..Lord knows it took everything in me! I liked the atmosphere very beautiful indeed. I liked the fact that I was given a thank u gift of codi hand cream( that was nice). I saw their score that was given to them by the health inspector and it showed a score of 100 located at the desk on the wall near the price list.(that was good) But what i did not like was the fact that I was given a gel as a top coat and charged 35 dollars when I only came there for the basic 27 dollar service. they insisted on given me what i never really wanted and i did not like that all to well. This is the worst nail studio and spa I ever attended...When I came in I said simply told them I want a full set and pedi then as I went to get my nails done they told me to let them soak off but instead of getting my nails soak off they started on my pedi..so I got my pedi done which was wonderful but as I sit there waiting to get my nails I ask how long it's going to be because I have been waiting like thirty minutes after my pedi and the guy said it's going to be a while BC I didn't know that you was getting your nails done too BUT HOW DIDNT YOU KNOW WHEN I SIT DOWN TO GET MY NAILS FIRST..So with that been said make sure your customers are happy and DONT FORGET ABOUT THEM Read Less

This was my first time at Nail Studio.  I was a "walk in" for a mani/pedi  and was greeted politely by all.  I was lucky enough to get Lucky for both my manicure and pedicure.  He offered me something to drink and took his time doing an amazing job!  All of my requests were completed and he even carried on a nice conversation with me that made me feel very comfortable.  He does beautiful flower work on your nails too!  Needless to say I am a fan of Lucky and plan to be back soon! I just want to say I'm upset that I just got my nails done & they are already breaking off. It's not even time for a fill in & they are already breaking. They started breaking the same EXACT day that I got them done & within a week 3 broke off. Strike 1. Nick saw my complaint & agree to do my nails over for me free of charge. Cool. We schedule an appointment for this past Monday. He was a no call no show. Strike 2. Which was VERY unprofessional. He failed to let his staff & h...is schedule appointments know he wasn't going to be there. I let him know I was HIGHLY upset about his no call no show. He said his apologies & we reschedule for today. When I got there I let him know what I wanted. At first it was going good. I told him that I felt one nail was shorter than the other he said he wasn't done yet( rudely) as he kept going the nail service got horrible & horrible. He asked if I like them & I said they were "ok" he didn't like that response & say "You can't please everyone & I guess you're one of those people you can't please" Strike 3 I guess his feelings were hurt because I didn't like how my nails were done. After that he told me to wash my hands. I came back for him to paint them & he RUDELY said "there's no point in me finishing your nails because you don't like them any way, you're just unappreciative so you can just go." Strike 4. He said that in front of customers which I felt was really unprofessional let alone disrespectful. I left in peace & didn't say a word because I was going to get REAL UGLY. I guess he thought I should have been happy HE was doing it & doing it free of charge but no if it wasn't screw up in the beginning there would have been no need for them to be fixed. I will say, I would visit this place every time I visited Montgomery, so I thought this time wouldn't be any different.  WRONG! Dead WRONG!.  It was a Sunday and according to the sign, they were opening at 12.  I got there at 12 and they appeared to already be open with 3 in chairs and 4 waiting.  I told them all I wanted was a manicure and pedicure and they promised it would only be a few minutes since not everyone had showed up to work yet.  I didn't mind waiting because I really wanted a pedicure.  After waiting 40 minutes, I thought I was going to leave and thats when I was told they were ready for me.  The older woman was the person who was going to give me a pedicure and she was doing ok until she cut me with the cuticle cutter, cut my nails too short and they are also uneven.  The pedicure wasn't the greatest and it just sort of ended.  Never seemed like there was a flow to it and then she looked at my nails and said, "No manicure today, just pedicure." Been coming to  Nails studio over a couple of years and always have good to fair service. But today was different, and sometimes different can be good, well it's was amazing over the top.  The nail technician is name Nicholas, he is very professional and knowledge. Pedicure was amazing and he understand the best part of pedicure is the massage. Nicholas, didn't rush on my massage and he was the  first one ever rub my toes to my kneecaps with nice firm pressures and certain place  he know to go softer. Then, I got a  full sets of pink & white l and my nails are fabulous, how Nicholas structure acrylic on my nails  so natural. The best he didn't put a gel top coat but he buff shiny the nails and it look so natural and shiny like the gel top coat. The down side of a gel top coat its comes off and sometimes the nails turn yellow. All I can say Nicholas is a great and wonderful nail technician. Read Less

By far, the BEST pedicure I've ever received! I've had my nails done all over the US, and this is still my favorite place. The first time I received a pedicure here was back in 2011, and the staff is just as friendly, patient and professional as they were 4 years ago.  You'll be here a while, while they work on your nails, but it's worth it. Enjoy the wine and neck wrap in the meantime. The attention to detail here is what I love most so definitely worth your time getting your nails done even if you're only in town a few weeks. Review for June 26,2014I have been coming here for years because the atmosphere has always been quiet and extremely relaxing. Since I was in Montgomery for a few weeks, I decided to return to my favorite nail spot. Nail Studio has eight manicure stations and around 8 pedicure stations. The ceiling has a nice sky painting with relaxing blue lighting.  The paintings on the walls are hella cute,  and everything seems clean. Instead of a television program, the patrons enjoy scenery from virtual vacations. In addition, Nail studio has a nice variety of nail colors and brands. This place is the reason why I have been disappointed with the nail salons in the DC/Baltimore area. When I walked in, the receptionist was on her cell phone. I had a question about the pricing and mani/pedicure. Needless to say, I had to wait until the young lady finished her personal phone call before I could ask her the question. Although she was pleasant,  I wasn't happy about the fact that I had to wait until her personal phone call ended. Ken who did my pedicure was a sweetheart,  and he was thorough. He took his time even though the place was crowded.  I swore I fell in love when he massaged my leg. Peter, the gentleman who did my manicure, was another sweetheart. Like Ken, he took his time to ensure that my manicure was excellent. I was extremely pleased with the service that he provided. I have visited many nail salons in Montgomery,  and this one has always exceeded my expectations.  When I know that I am coming to Alabama,  I forfeit my nail appointments in the DC/Baltimore area because I know that they dont measure up to nail studio.
