I have been going to LA Nails for well over 20 years. Sometimes in an emergency when I was out of town, I would have to go to other nail shops. I was always disappointed. Paul is without a doubt a nail artist. He is very talented and takes care with what he does to make sure that you are always satisfied with the way your nails look when he is finished. I would not consider going to anyone else. Mrs T has always taken care of me for pedicures and just painting my toenails in between. She makes you feel wonderful when she is massaging your legs and your feet.  She even put my husband to sleep. They are both great folks and the atmosphere in the shop is always very laid-back and one where you feel comfortable. Without a doubt, LA nails will always be the shop for me. Read Less

I went in for S & S nails. I got them done on a Thursday and by Sunday two nails popped completely off. When I looked closer some of the corners of my nails weren't coated. I paid $35 for nails that didn't last a week. I'm used to getting S & S and this has never happened. S & S should last at least 3 weeks. Read Less

I am in Montgomery for training and I needed my nails done bad.  I called and made an appointment.  I arrived and was greeted and the place had a great comforting feel. The nail tech was great and the quality of work and time he spent on my nails woooooowww I was very impressed. Great place to go and I will be returning when in town again. Read Less

The reviews recommended scheduling an appointment so I called 3 hours prior to coming in and was given the time I requested. They did an awesome job on my nails and toes, I was on a time crunch and I guess they noticed because they kept insisting I take my time and relax which was appreciated. Was here from out of town and needed a pedicure ASAP. She fit me in for a pedicure. The place isn't fancy like I'm used to in San Francisco but the service and the lady was very nice. I was able to relax in the massage chair in peace. In CA the nail shop is usually crowded and loud with the staff yelling and laughing. This place was quiet and very relaxing. Read Less

Really liked this place. I took my mom for a treat and it was the first time she ever had a pedi.They were very friendly and the service was good. They offered us water and we did not have to wait. my nails came out cute but this place is SO dirty. The man doing my nails tried to use the same towel and nail file that he had used on a woman before me & their "new" towels (used to dry your hands after your nails are done) have stains on them. if youre willing to risk it, go here . acrylic full set coffin nails were $25 but i'd rather go to a cleaner place. I've been wanting to come here for months because I am in need of a good place that can do the gel art I ask for. Usually not too difficult, but it varies.I'm from LA, so I thought I'd give it a shot-- it turns out, the owner, Paul, is from LA (well, the OC)!  Indeed, it is no coincidence that the shop is called LA nails!  I've come here just once, but I am so happy; I've found my new nail shop :)  I would recommend calling to make an appointment bc it's always better to let them know ahead of time (sometimes they close early and to minimalize any potential wait).  The inside of the shop is minimalistic but cute decor, and the shop itself is clean (100 health department rating)! It's definitely not the best skill and technique  I've experienced, but I left the shop so happy and feeling like I got my nails done affordably, had awesome conversations, and was in and out quickly!  Awesome, awesome service!  THAT is what I'm talking about when I treat myself! I went back in February this year when visiting family. I had such a great experience I actually made a yelp account because I wanted to thank these guys! (even though it's a bit overdue)I was out running errands that day and wanted to treat myself so I called ahead to make sure they had someone available for a basic pedicure. When I arrived, she was all set up for me with her supplies and warm towels. I don't get my nails done very often but was introduced to the magic of pedicures by an old girlfriend (and I generally don't like my feet touched). They offered me something to drink and the pedicure was efficient, all staff I encountered was kind, and I never felt rushed.  No one tried to up sell me, but did exactly what I wanted.Overall it was just everything I needed and I think the total cost was $25 before a very generous tip. She communicated well about whether tip could be included on credit card which can be an awkward conversation for people less familiar with nail salons.I will definitely be going back EVERY time I'm in Montgomery :) Read Less
