I had some unexpected time for a pedicure today and dropped in Top Nails 2 on Grelot road. I walked in and they greeted me kindly, offered all of their different services and got me started right away...
I had some unexpected time for a pedicure today and dropped in Top Nails 2 on Grelot road. I walked in and they greeted me kindly, offered all of their different services and got me started right away. I only got a pedicure but I really enjoyed my time there. The lady who did my nails was quiet and efficient and just let me relax. I love the colors and polish options they have and did a pretty purple. I also really liked the massage she did and the massage chair. The end result of my nails isn't as clean and uniform as some places can do, but overall a nice experience and I would visit again.

I have been living in the Mobile area for 6 months and have tried several nail salons to have my bi-weekly mani-pedi's done. What I have found with previous nail salons, is their inconsistency and lac...
I have been living in the Mobile area for 6 months and have tried several nail salons to have my bi-weekly mani-pedi's done. What I have found with previous nail salons, is their inconsistency and lack of attention to detail, once you return for a second or third visit. Therefore, these salons have not only lost my business but more importantly my recommendations to friends and business associates.This was my first visit at Top Nails 2. I was somewhat satisfied with how my nails were done until I left and noticed that the the edge of my toe nails were not painted. Also, like most nail salons, they use OPI polish which contains Endocrine Disrupting chemical that contains Triphenyl Phosphate which has proved to cause weight gain and obesity in women. Sally Hansen, Wet and Wild and others are also culprits containing this same chemical. I overheard one of the nail techs making a good pitch to another customer (who brought her own polish) as to how great OPI was. Not true ladies....do your homework before making recommendations!I always bring my own polish, so I would suggest you do some research if you care about how this may effect you.
