I normally have Teresa cut my hair and she is great. However...I received a call the morning of my appointment telling me that Teresa was out but they could move my appointment over to Raymond. I wasn't thrilled having somebody I never met cut my hair but it was just a few days before Christmas and I was desperate. I arrived at the appointment time, Raymond met me in the lobby and basically told me I have too much hair, he wouldn't have enough time to cut it, there was no one else there that could fit me in, they should have booked me a longer appointment, sorry. It's now 2 days before the holiday, I took time off work for the appt and now has to scramble to find another salon to cut my hair. Horrible customer service and very uncaring stylist!!! Read Less

Hairageous, has been providing exceptional salon services in West Mobile for more than 25 years, amazingly a majority of the staff have remained a team the entire time, unheard of in today's business climate. in recent years they were honored as one of the top salons throughout the southeast. I have known the team since the 1980's, and I knew that they had something special way back then, now they have proven that they are the best in Mobile AL. Ironically, the current owner... Charlene Hamilton was washing hair for the rest of the team long ago, and now is the spirit that keeps everyone together, a special personality that brings a laugh and/or smile to every person that she meets. Despite what the other review says, Hairageous is one of the best in Mobile in my opinion. On occasion, the front desk clerk is a little snotty, but they have such high turn over rate, so I completely ignore this. I have been using Teresa for 4 years now (Even though I live in NM now, I continue using her services when I am in town), and I have yet to be disappointed. She always has great suggestions, and her price for color is fantastic. I can usually always get an appointment at specified times. I have never felt that she did a "rush job" as stated by other reviewer. In fact, I always felt that she took her time doing my hair and color, and have yet to find any parts of my hair that are "longer than the other in which I have to trim by hand at home". Her hours are also great for the person that works 8-5 because she typically works 9-6 and will stay longer if needed to finish the job right.Read Less
