I love this salon. Great prices and wonderful work. I use the female owner and I am always happy with my results. Have not used the male, her husband yet. I always get gel, so no experience with acrylic there, but they take wonderful care of my natural nails unlike some salons that file natural nails too much. I drive out of my way to come here now. This nail salon is nice.  The ladies were so sweet as it was my birthday and I told them "no expense spared" so i went with the upgraded Mani and upgraded pedi were the choice of the day. I had an appt at 430 but it wasn't necessary because only one other client was there on this Friday before presidents day. They use masks, gloves and all other barrier items to protect you  and them. They have 8 pedi chairs two of which are for children and will do your Mani (whatever flavor) while simultaneously doing your pedi which I appreciate it saves time. They love what they do as you hear them converse and carry on picking at each other in a fun loving way. Why bother 5th star? No vino. No water offered. This would elevate the relaxation of a high end Mani pedi which includes massage and guess what? Stem and Stein is right next door.  Next time I'll bring my own. This is the real deal. Nice clean hygenic salon with a 100 health rating so I'll be back. Oh and they help you select  your colors and aren't all about an upgrade. I was only interested in a basic Mani vice a gel manicure. I don't like the damage gel does. I saw posters for SNS nails which i believe is the latest trend in gel-like nails but more healthy.  The other suggestion I would make is to use the pedi bowl liners. Just moved to Huntsville area and was timid about finding a place to get a pedicure. This is an amazing place. It's clean and the owners are very friendly. I always get nicked when cutting cuticles and this is the first time it hasn't happened. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer! Do not visit this salon unless you want gel or powder nails. They will snub you otherwise! My sister came to this salon since my mom has come here a couple of times for Powder nails. She wanted a regular mani pedi and was on a strict budget. Yet the man doing her nails kept asking her "why can't you do gel?" and saying "we don't have people come here for regular manicures anymore." She had to tell him repeatedly she couldn't do that for cost (she was getting nails done for a wedding this weekend). And then when it was done, as my sister reached into her wallet to pay the man, one of her nails got messed up. And all the guy said was "Well that's why we tell you to get gel nails!" No offer to fix it, nothing. Just a snub. I can tell you the technicians at Venus nails one block over would never treat her this way and they would have fixed that nail. I personally don't like gel, not because of cost but because it tore up my nails the one time I tried it. I can say I will never be visiting this salon on future visits to Madison. And my mother will be going back to Venus for her Powder manicures.Read Less

Went in today for a gel manicure and pedicure and what a wonderful experience. They care about their customers and have a huge selection of colors and options! I ended up trying the new SNS manicure and I love it! I am now a customer for life...prices are more than competitive and they are amazing! Our experience at A-L nails and spa was a wonderful experience! We arrived, and surprisingly, there was no wait! We were seated and two very comfortable chairs, with the massage options of course! The chairs were newer models of the massage chairs that you typically see nail salons. What we were most impressed with was the cleanliness of the salon, and the area in general. The technicians were top notch, friendly, and did such a wonderful job. The salon was not simply clean in general, it was very obvious that the technicians took great care in ensuring that best practices we're bring observed (for example, disposable filers/sanders), complete drainage of the tabs, and a wall-to-wall sanitation to thoroughly clean the areas prior of usage of the area. The spa has a relaxing atmosphere, as the technicians go out of their way you make you feel at home.  There is even designated parking spots directly in front of the spa to allow you quick and easy access. I'm surprised there's not more reviews of this place posted in Yelp! This place exceeded all of the standards that I am normally cost into in terms of nail salons/spas. There is even a fantastic wings/Korean restaurant next-door, and a wine bar in which you can do wine tasting/ wine shopping some impressive import and domestic wines and an extensive list of beers from all over the world and within the United States. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of quality and professionalism that exists at this business!
