Very bad customer service. They’re very money hungry; I just came in to get my toes polished and they charged $10. Then two days ago, lady rushed my nails and didn’t even do the shape I wanted. Terrible service. Absolutely terrible. It almost got to the point of harassment when trying to upsell me on a service. Once I decided I didn’t want the extra service, the lady became extremely rude. Overpriced and rude. They treat you differently based on your demographic. They rush and do a poor job. They didn’t scrub my feet, claiming I should either upgrade my pedi or pay an additional $3 to scrub. Kinda thought that was always included. My mom got a gel set. Her acrylic is so uneven, it looks like a hot wheels race track. As seen in the photos, her cuticles were not done well either. These are SAME DAY pictures. Went in for gel's Nd pedicure. Told them that I have a server latex allergies and they told me they use latex free gloves. After 5 min in on pedicure my feet was turning red and itchy. I then read the box that she got the gloves from and Yep they were latex. After I showed them they still wanted to charge full price and I had to hurry to Target for Benadryl. Got a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was okay. But the manicure was far from a manicure. He didn't paint my nails all the way and the clean up was a disaster. I left with polish all around my nails. Very disappointing. Especially being 9 months pregnant and my birthday. The owner just came to my car as I was crying like a crazy woman and fixed my nails!!! Went to ask about them filling in and fixing my botched nails. (Not by them.) Decided to just have them remove them and start over. So glad I did! The young guy I had was so patient removing them and kept asking if it was hurting. My NEW nails are PERFECT. Thinner than the old ones and they had no air bubbles in the gel top coat. Oh and they give you a mini hand massage when putting on lotion for you. Will go to them from now on!! Read Less

I have been patronizing Summit Nails for a while now.  With all the reports on nail salons that do not properly disinfect between customers, i began to pay attention. One Sunday, before closing, I noticed the pedi-bowls were only rinsed after a customer. Because it was close to closing, i made the assumption there would be a thorough cleaning after closing. On yesterday, July 12th, I went in Summit with a family member.  My family member and I were taken to the Pedi-bowls and water was drawn.  We had to wait for a bit because they were busy. While patiently waiting, i watched a nail technician complete the patron next to me. I saw the pedi bow sprayed with water, just enough to clear the suds, and the next customer was brought in. State law requires a thorough cleaning with solution for at least 10 minutes between customers.  Also, the tool that used on my feet was pulled from the tech's pocket.  When he completed my feet, he rinsed it in the water from my pedi bowl and placed it back in his pocket.  This is very sad because generally this shop does a good job.  Being sanitary is very important.  i will not be going here anymore. After paying $65 for gel polish on natural nails, it started peeling in a week. I stopped in to have them remove it and they charged me $6 because I didn't want another manicure. $6 to remove polish which took 30 seconds. Rip off. Read Less
