I call myself trying to go to this nail salon because it was closer to my house, but I will never be back. The gel polish on my toenail slipped off and that has NEVER happened before. I had to find some toenail polish to repaint it. My ombré nails broke in half I had to cut them all short to match. All of this happened while on my vacation and I went to the salon last week. I went in to get my nails filled today. I had been getting acrylic nails elsewhere with no problems and decided to come here today because the lady that I’ve been going to was busy. So, for whatever reason, when the lady put the acrylic on my nails, my fingers responded negatively and started burning under the acrylic. I told her that they were burning, and the only choice we had was to take all of the acrylic off down to my real nail. She acted strange about it, and I as...ked her if there was anything else she suggested we do, and she didn’t say anything, and my nails are starting to hurt more and more by the second as we’re talking about it. So I just told her that’s what we needed to do, so she started the process of taking them off. Needless to say, it took just minutes for my nails to start feeling better as soon as the acrylic was coming off. She suggested doing a powder nail, but after the nail pain, I decided to just go with getting the nails off, getting them cleaned up and regular polish. My complaint is that what should have been a $15 fill appointment turned into $25 because THEY CHARGED ME TO TAKE THE NAILS OFF!!! I was in pain from their acrylic and there was no choice!! I didn’t mind paying for the polishing, but that’s rediculous!!!! I also overheard another customer that came in complaining that her nails were looking bad after only a week and just wanted them to fix the ones she thought they did a bad job on; and they charged her too!!!! That customer said she had been coming to them for a long time and never had a problem before; and reminded them of that. They didn’t care, and just wanted her to pay to fix what they did wrong. Me and my mother have been letting Wendy do our nails since she worked at Walmart. Since she has gotten her shop the service has declined. My mother caught an infection in her finger which caused her to lose her entire pointer nail. She skips important steps, overcharges without explanation, rude to customers, & rushes to get people in and out. I would not recommend her services to ANYONE. The service was awful. I had a friend with me who asked if she was allowed to pull up a chair next to me and the lady rudely replied that she can sit in the corner and wait for me. Then before she was finished doin my nails she asked me to pay her. It was $15 but then she added an extra $3 for cutting my nails down. She never informed me that this would be extra. No other nail salon that I have been to does this. While doing my nails she did not follow the correct procedures. She skipped many steps during this process. I absolutely love city nails, no matter how long I wait to go they still remember who I am whenever I do walk back in. They do excellent work on my nails reasonable prices and very relaxing environment. I don't and will not take my money, gas or time anywhere else other than city nails. My husband also like them. They do wonders on his feet. He wear steel toe boots 5 days a week 16 hour shifts and city nails makes his feet look like all he does is sit home everyday. Love it. Read Less

very disappointed, i'm not satisfied with the work that was done. My nails were not even dry when i got home and two of them messed up, but the lady told me it was dry when i left. also very dry people they don't try to make the customers feel comfortable. Got my old SNS nails take off and redone. Wendy did an AMAZING job. She was quick and efficient. She was also gentle and sweet. I'm sad that I live out of town but if I'm ever back I'll definitely come back. Read Less

Best Nail Salon & Spa in Huntsville. I've been going to MO, SALLY, & LINDSEY for a long time. They get you in for Manicure's and Pedicure's faster than anyone I have ever seen. The shop is cleaner than any Nail Salon I've visited and, believe you me, I've visited several in my lifetime. They can free style any design you request, be it large or small, and they take great care in pleasing their customers. If you have a need for repair before your regular fill-in's, etc., MO usually does not charge you for the repair, replacement, etc. Their prices are also cheaper than any shops I've visited.
