I was a walk in to get the SNS nail system done. They weren’t very busy, a couple of pedicures going on, and I got helped right away. I asked for the natural treatment as I didn’t want any color. As I was sitting there a couple more people did come in. The lady who did my nails (don’t know her name as no one told me) didn’t follow all the steps you’re supposed to do for SNS. She also didn’t apply the gel properly in partial steps up the nail as it’s supposed to be done. She skipped a gel coat and never did the final natural dips either. She left all kinds of goop on my fingers and under my nails. She didn’t even try to clean them up. She also tried to put my hands under the UV light which is NOT part of the SNS system. Came in an hour before close. The ladies welcomed me and my boyfriend with smiles. We enjoyed manicures and pedicures. And I didn't enjoy my eyebrow wax. Because who enjoys that? I did appreciate that they didn't spend a large amount of time plucking afterwards. That's the worst! Read Less

I had an excellent visit here today. I have found a new nail tech named Lisa. I have been searching for over a year since I moved from Atlanta. I had a severe injury to my foot and have multiple surgeries with lingering pain. She did an outstanding job without adding more pain. My toes look and feel great. Came in at around 3:50pm (scheduled an appointment at noon) and was welcomed in by Lisa. She was very sweet and a bit soft spoken so you'll have to listen carefully when she speaks. I immediately was able to get in the chair and begin my pedi. Lisa made sure I was comfortable by starting the massage chair herself, frequently asking if I was ok, and if the water temp was fine. She kneaded out knots in my feet caused by months of stress at work, scrubbed them, and painted my toes a nice dark purple. She was kind and worked quickly but was also careful. The place is really clean and spacious. There are tvs hanging along the walls for entertainment. Enjoyed my visit. Very inexpensive for such an intense and delightful pedi. I walked into A+ Nails because it was close to my house. A+ Nails was as good as all the other reviewers have raved about. The trick to getting into this place is a call ahead.My feet was put into actual metal bowls/basins with aromatherapy.The employees were courteous and not very intrusive.This is such a beautiful salon and you couldn't beat their prices! I had a horrid experienced at the last place I went to and after trying A+ Nails & Beauty Salon in Huntsville. I have been more in love with my mani & pedi. I was so surprised by their open reception. They did an amazing job and it came out even better than I expected. It was more fabulous than anywhere else for my nails done. Thorough cleaning. Professional service. I go twice a month and I get a consistently great pedicure. They take great pride in their work and am very happy with the results! I will have to admit that during the Christmas season they are a little short-staffed because that's their vacay time, but being patient or setting an appointment will guarantee that your time there is well spent, instead of spent waiting. Just stopped in to get my nails done and was told "we're just so busy." Come back in two hours. I was the only one waiting to get my nails done. Matter of fact I was the only one waiting. Two people were getting pedi's and one person getting a full set. I received no greeting when I walked in. Will NOT BE RETURNING. Maybe because I am African American. I was passing through Huntsville and needed a mani so I found this shop on Yelp. The reviews were great so I decided to give it a try. I called ahead (20 min) so I was a semi-walk-in. When I pulled up, I questioned my decision. It's in an unassuming storefront in a generic shopping center, not really the kind of place I usually go! But, since I had an appt and the reviews were good, I went in. I'm so glad I did! The shop is clean; tools are sanitized; staff is friendly and the prices are VERY reasonable (you're not paying extra for a high-rent location). Kim was my manicurist today and she was wonderful but all the ladies seemed kind and courteous. Extremely clean! That's something I'm big on noticing--UV ovens to heat tools at a high enough temp to kill bacteria, boiling other instruments, using packaged tools, etc. They worked quickly and the price was very reasonable! My daughter and stopped by on Wednesday evening, it was after 6pm. It was our first time, going there and we did not realize the hours of business.
