Dawn's salon may have moved, but the true affection Dawn has for her clients, and her tireless pursuit of the perfect medium, polish, color, shape and style for you and your event, are without equal in the Portland Metro area. I was so lucky that my husband chose my Christmas mani/pedi gift certificate from Uptown Fingers & Toes back in 2011. I came away not only with a perfect set of nails for a critical job interview, but also a loyal and unfailingly dependable life-long fr...iend. Amazingly, Dawn's new salon is even more perfectly balanced than her prior location. Intimately relaxed and warmly cheerful, it's a rare day when you find Dawn alone with a client; the atmosphere is so congenial that there are often 3 or 4 friends in a ring around Dawn, chatting away, who would have never met but for Dawn's gift for connecting with and among others. (Often as not, there are as many men as women). I write this not as a friendly obligation, but as a sincerely grateful and honest review: Dawn's services are perfection, and my circle of friends continues to expand in her radiating orbit. Attempted to go to Uptown Fingers & Toes today in downtown Vancouver today to get some pedicures done with friend as a baby shower gift for her. I scheduled over a week ago and was told we'd have 2 people working with us at 10am. When I arrived the place was closed. When I called the phone number, the woman I scheduled with originally (I believe Dawn), didn't even seem to know who I was until I reminded her I was bringing in my pregnant friend. She then she told me she was si...ck & lost my phone number so there was no way to contact with me to cancel. If she uses a cell phone she could have just checked in her history to get my number. She did try to have another local shop owner put a note on her door but this woman didn't post the note until almost 10:15 when I on the phone call. Also, what happened to the 2nd person that was supposed to be working with us? Dawn recommended another place but they were full. She literally left me in a lurch since my schedule is so tight. After calling around, I was able to get a recommendation from Vata Salon (they were full also) & we went to 10 Nails Bar. It wasn't the spa atmosphere I was hoping for but they did a wonderful job & we were pleasantly surprised! So totally recommend them but NOT Uptown Fingers & Toes....which is sad because the place looked to adorable. What was supposed to be a relaxing day for my friend ended up being crazy, Thankfully, it all turned out well but my business is forever lost. here. Afficher la suite

I love coming here! The place is very cozy and decorated so nicely. Dawn and Rachel are both awesome! I've been to numerous other nail techs and was never really impressed. Now that I've been to Uptown Fingers & Toes, I won't go anywhere else. Not only do they do a great job with my nails, they give good massages(not just rubbing in lotion like i've experienced elsewhere)!

Dawn makes you feel like a queen the minute you walk in the door. Pampers your every whim, does fantastic work... Easy access parking! What more could you ask for!
