Terrible service, dirty salon. I went in for a manicure and they charged me $18 for a very bad manicure. He barely filed my nails, used zero products for my cuticles and skin. This was a horrible experience for me. I spent 75.00 and the guy refused to put the natural color I wanted on my toes and I asked for my nails to be buffed and he didn’t do it. Meanwhile, my husband was sitting next to me getting his nails buffed and we bought the same package. I should have refused to pay bc they didn’t give me what I paid for . I went to file you fancy a month ago and was charged $52 for A FILL and I left a $10 tip. Yvonne was amazing in how she cleaned up my nails and basically gave me a full set for that price. She did an amazing job and was so pleasant. I had a nail break and I went back the next day and Wa fixed it for free, so I gave her a $10 tip. I came back today (about a month later) and had Michael doing my nails and received the same product service (same power, same polish) but at the po...int of sale, another nail tech that wasn't even doing my nails, named Wa, was stating that because of the products that I used (which were the exact same powder and polish, which were verified before service today) I will be charged $68 for the FILL! I told her that I was charged around $50 last time and she said "no you weren't, these are our normal prices for what you had done." (Mind you, they do not abide by their posted prices and I've heard this from a friend before). I said, I know I was charged around $50. Wa (who didn't do my nails, proceeded to argue with me when I have proof on my bank statement to show her.) I do not argue over petty money and I told her that I will not argue with her, I know what I paid last time and if she gave me a one-time discount that she should had mentioned that last time. Wa kept repeating herself even though I had moved on and said I would pay it regardless of the discrepancy. She kept going on and on, in front of other customers, while she was doing someone else's nails. It was quite embarrassing. $68 for a fill and at the quality that I received for the service, is not worth it. Money is no object to me. I live a blessed life. I don’t usually post reviews, but THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!! This use to be my favorite nail shop and I’m very disappointed. The service was poor, the products are watered down, and they use insult to get you try to pay for more expensive/other services. I’ve given this place too many chances. One time I went there I was charged more than what was on my receipt and the only reason I found out was because I looked at my online bank statement days later. After that, I didn’t go back I know in over a year until today. The people are RUDE and the customer service is non existent!! My little sister got her receipt thrown at her because of a misunderstanding, the guy cracked my daughter’s nail and was nasty about it when she asked him to fix it, and my toes still weren’t dry after 3 hours. I’m dreading going back to have them repainted because I don’t want to be ugly to anyone, but I paid for a service and I want what I paid for. Read Less

Okay so I went with a friend and her nails turned out perfectly, but mine did not. I asked for coffin shape but instead they turned out to be more square shaped. I asked for black nails with 1 nail to be sparkly and she did not do this, instead she used a very sheer gray sparkly color which I didn’t like. She asked did I want gel I said no, but then she put it on there saying that it was fine. I got a pedicure and it was great! Sadly the lady who was doing my manicure wasn’t very curtious and was almost rude to me simply because I did not want gel nails. At the end she said it would be $69, due to the fact that she had used the gel (even though I had said no to it). Usually I pay $50. I then asked for my receipt but she did not give it to me, all of this would’ve been alright had she just been more professional. I have been to a lot of salons in my life and I have never been treated so well as I was at the salon they were so kind to me my daughter and my granddaughter the place is so clean immaculate the prices are a little high but my nails have never looks so good and my feet feel absolutely wonderful Read Less

Evon was able to get me in last minute- on a Thursday afternoon! She was so sweet and did a great job. It was nice and clean and there were so many nail color/types!! The owner served me a mimosa and thanked me for coming. It is over 2 weeks later and my nails have not lifted and I have gotten compliments every day. Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. They got me in right away and gave me a free mimosa, off to a great start! I didn't catch the guy's name that did my pedicure, but it was hands down the best one I've ever had! He even took care of my ingrown toenail that had been bothering me for months! I've been going there for years! I specially love Hua! They are all so nice and very personal! I feel like Family when I go in there. I just wish they had a few more experienced nail techs to make appointments more convienent for my daughters work schedule. My daughter turned me and all of our friends and family on to this place. My sister and I stopped in so I could get a pedicure and she could get a gel manicure set. Except for asking me if I wanted something to drink and which pedicure I wanted, the tech didn't really speak to me at all. She did speak to her coworkers in Vietnamese. My pedicure was just sub-par. My feet became rough again less than a week later. The male tech who did my sisters nails was the same. When she had her nails done, he waited until after the gel was set to shape her nails, leaving her nails scratched, and didn't really clean up the cuticle, use lotion on her hands, or do the customary hand massage. If I could give this place zero stars I would. It's worth the drive to go to Gardendale and visit Nail Model instead. Read Less

I've been here several times u needed a take off and new set. The lady didn't soak them off she just cut clipped and hurt 1 of my fingers. Done a great job as far as putting the new ones on but then when she put my gel on I kept looking at the color & I ask is this what I picked it don't look like it she says Oh no we don't have that and the color I have now because after I said 5 or 6 times I DON'T LIKE THIS COLOR I WANTED A DARKER COLOR She paid me no attention now I have to pay someone else to put the color I want on . NEVER going back here... and this is from a customer that has been going here for over three years. My pedicure is ok....far from the best I've had from here. No one is friendly....almost to the point of being rude. I would not suggest this place. I'm not sure if the lady that did my nails was mad, having a bad day, or what. She yanked my legs and feet around rather than simply ask me to move or position a certain way. I should have looked harder after she was finished at the color and quality of the job. Of course, I inspected more after they had dried. I felt the paint and noticed the tips were not filed well. They were rough. There was paint on my skin, and some of the nails had no paint. When I brought it up to the 'manager', he said they would fix and brought the girl over. It was chaos. I finally asked for my money back, and was informed NO REFUNDS. They will fix, but that was it. I was already running long on my lunch break and really did not have time to wait. They did not seem to care. Anyway, she sanded them and re-painted them. They are smooth at least. The color is not that great and I still will have to re-do them myself this weekend to make them presentable (what a crock since I just PAID someone to do it correctly). I determined from this visit, they do not care about customer service and they obviously do not want to retain their current customers. Worst nail salon ever. I went for a pedicure...the service was rushed and poorly done. Also, they cherry pick customers based on the service. I went for a polish removal one day, and was told they were too busy even though I called ahead. When I told them I called, I was then told I would be attended to. I've been going to this salon for years- I can't imagine trusting my nails to anyone else- it's the little things that make the difference- welcoming you by name when you walk in the door, offering something to drink and everyone is so happy and anxious to please you- Hoa does my nails and I love that she takes her time and is very much a perfectionist at her work- my nails look perfect every time and they last beautifully until my next visit- I've lived in Gresham 23 years and this salon, bar none and hands down, is the best all the way across the board!!
