I purchased a gift card for my daughter's birthday back in January. She used it and loved the shop. After her recommendation i went with her for a pedicure after a long hard week. We were greeted immediately and took a seat in the massage chairs within minutes. We had Linda and Jennifer as our technicians and they kept us in stitches. The pedicure was so enjoyable and they brought me a beverage to enjoy while i receiving it. We both highly recommend this salon and will be going back again for their deluxe pedi. I never leave comments about places because I’m not the type of person, but I will not recommend this salon to anyone. My now wife and I came in last Friday with our bridal party to get our nails done, we thought this was going to be a great experience and would be able to enjoy ourselves. We got there early just Incase anything was to happen. We both got our toes done and I had one lady ask what I would like and I told her then she walked away, another lady came up sat down ...and started my pedicure and the lady who did mine didn’t bother talking to me and didn’t ask why I wanted and almost put this awful brown color all because the polish was there from another customer and she rolled her eyes when I told her I wanted a French pedicure. The other lady who was taking care of my fiancé was really sweet but when it came to doing a French tip on the toes she didn’t know how too at all. (I went to cosmetology school and focused a lot on nails and a French was one of the first things I learned), so she made my wife go to a manicure stand and have her prop her feet up onto another lady. My wife was highly upset about this. Finally we went into the nails, we were put at separate ends which was okay for us and my wife got a French tip manicure (her nails got messed up by the nail tech and she didn’t bother fixing them for her), I was going to get acrylics because that is what I’m used too and like.. I asked for an ombré on my nails and was told they didn’t know how to do that and I wasn’t able to get it... I was really upset by this being the bride as well and not able to get my Dream nails for my wedding. So I just got a regular French tip acrylic nails and tried to put it behind me. We finished up the service and we paid $150 that wasn’t worth it to us. Later that evening I had looked down at my nails and realized three of my nails were ALREADY LIFTING!! What the heck? My nails always last me two weeks until I need a fill in. I had to find some glue last minute on my wedding day because I couldn’t get the time to go back to the salon to get my nails done. Im currently in my wait to another salon in Fairhope to see if they can fix my nails. I will never come here again or tell any of my friends getting married to come here as well. Immediately, I was greeted and asked what would I like done. I replied a pedicure and was asked to come back tomorrow! Really??? I was stunned & actually a little embarrassed because I was told this out loud, in front of other customer! I moved here in Jan and been looking for a place I feel comfortable, welcome and appreciative of my business. I found it. I love this place, very good work on nails and great pedicures!! Best pedicure EVER. Not your typical pedicure. Loved the jelly bath and I could have stayed in that wonderful chair forever. Appreciated all the employees spoke English the whole time ( I always felt like that were talking about me elsewhere. LOL) I highly recommend this place. Read Less

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Lelia is the worst! Had four people taking turns working on my nails. I asked for coffin shape nails and I got every shape but that, each nail had a different shape and were not the same size as the other hand. My nails looked like I needed a fill in when I left. They messed my nails up along with my daughters nails,Lelia said they will redo them so I went back and when I got there they knew I was coming for a re due, they told me to pick a color. They even gave me swatches with more colors to chose from, so when it came time for them to polish my nails she asked me if I had picked a color and I said yes, then she tells me I have to get the same color I had at first and if I want a different color I will have to pay 10.00 for them to polish again since I didn't want the same color and refuse to pay 10.00 dollars for another color, I left the shop with just the nails on! Did they forget that they were the ones to mess my nails up in the first place! They cater to certain people so I guess the color of my skin was not the chosen one. Long story short....a few others and myself went to try them out and came out with a rushed job because a lot of people kept coming in. Four different people worked on my nails and it did not feel like a relaxing environment what so ever. My mother spoke to the owner Leila about how we were not satisfied with our nails and my mom said after Leila talked about product cost, she said we could come back that Monday to get them re done. We went to get them re done and immediately after walking in Jennifer told us to pick a color. Linda did my nails (an awesome job btw) and also my moms. Only difference was when it was time for my mom to get her nails polished Leila came in. She told my mom that she had to get the same color she previously had or it would cost her $10. My mom said my daughter got a different color and Leila said "well Jennifer wasn't supposed to do that, so it's coming out of her check", in front of everyone. Then she yells at my mom about how they spent 4 hours on our nails and how we didn't say we didn't like the polish, we only said we didn't like the nails. Leila was just absolutely rude and luckily my mom or myself didn't react the wrong way! My mom ended up just getting a clear coat and Leila really didn't want her to get that. Thank goodness for Linda and Jessica, they are literally the best. Too bad we will NEVER give them another dime of our money. I'm going to tell everyone to never ever go to Leila's. I just left Leila's, yes it's 7pm and they advertise their hours as 6:30pm closing time. I only went in to buy a gift certificate for a friend, the salon had 5 other people in there (besides employees) and one employee who was cleaning and making preparations to go home looked at me and said "Get Out, we are closed". The other lady doing someone's manicure laughed and looked at me and asked "May I help you" and I told her what I needed. Leila wrote my gift certificate and never apologized for her rude employee. I just spent $135 in there this past Saturday for my girls for prom, and just bought a gift certificate, but that is the last dime I will ever spend in there. Obviously I am not welcome. I've been looking for a good place to get a pedicure. I've tried several places but wasn't very happy with any of them. And then I read a post on 'what's happening in Fairhope' about Leila's. My daughter and I came to Fairhope today to buy running shoes from Running Wild. When we ask the girls there where we could get a pedicure, they told us about Leilas. I am so glad they did. The first thing that I noticed when we walked in was how clean it was and it smelled so fresh, not the usual nail salon smell. The Ladies are great! I'm not one to leave comments or complain about something but I was recommended this salon by multiple woman I knew so I tried it out today. I was really let down and upset that the girl doing my nails did not even hardly pay attention. She was too worried about something else that in my eyes could have waited 30 minutes to get my nails done. Then when I felt rushed to hurry up and get finished and leave, I hit 2 of my nails on accident and the lady doing my nails caught an attitude and slammed the nail polish down. Leila's is amazing. Leila herself is a joy to be around and can bring a smile to anyone's face. I have gone into this nail salon on more than one occasion feeling upset and walked out with my spirits lifted. Leila, Linda, and Jennifer are more than just nail artists - they are your nail psychiatrists! A friend (even if just for an hour) who will really listen to what you have to say. Linda, don't even get me started on this girl... she is such a professional. Her work is amaz...ing. I love to talk with her; she always brings a smile to my face and I treasure her as a friend! Jennifer is super chatty, and I love to talk with her. She ALWAYS makes me laugh and she is a ray of sunshine that illuminates the salon. Outside of each person working at Leila's that makes the experience so superb, the salon itself is so fresh, so upbeat, so new. It is very Fairhope. The pedicure chairs are absolutely the best in town. You can charge your phone while you get a jelly pedicure, which may I add, you should always do! I got an SNS manicure for the first time last night and I am absolutely in love.
