I have been going to Nails First for 19 years. They have been great and I would highly recommend them. Mike and Trina are the owners, and have 2 children, one of which got player of the week for football at Priceville and will graduate high school this year. They also have an adorable little girl too! Saying that, I mean that they care about you too, and genuinely do their best. I have never had a problem, and if a nail breaks, (which hardly ever happens) they gladly repair nails too. Nails First is in Target and Panara Bread shopping center. Also, they just got New Amazing massage chairs along with auxiliary plugs in right on the chair. Headphones work great. I was impressed on my nails and color but after 3 days they started popping off and breaking I called the owner let him knew about my nails he was very polite and ask me to come in and they would fix them free of charge and I did but sadly to say two days later they came off again so I'm going to try somewhere else😓 Read Less

Never ever go to Nails First in Decatur next to Panera Bread and Fulin's. I called them before I went and asked how much was a gel fill. They told me $20. I'm like ok great be there soon. Went there, paid and left. Everything was fine. Went back a second time today to get A FILL. I get them done and I'm thinking ok $20 like last time. No $30. Which isn't a problem, but I originally went there because I liked $20 better. I said why is it 30 I paid 20 last time. He said, "oh maybe he gave you a discount for being new customer." um no that's not how it works. But I paid politely and left. Why the price was changed no clue Read Less

I typically get a manicure + Shellac and this was the worst job I have ever had! The gel is covering my cuticles and has already started peeling. I tried to tell the young man that he was putting it on way too thick and explained that I have a gel kit at home and can do a better job than he did. I go to a nail salon so they will look really good. They still expected me to pay for it!!! What?!! On top of that the guy doing my nails FaceTimed his boyfriend while he was supposed to be doing my nails...Terrible service and you do not get what you pay for! This is the ONLY place I will EVER go to get my feet or nails worked on!! Mike is great and he loves to get a laugh out of you anyway he can!! I had a free certificate to go to Venus Nails down the road from Nails first. they did a horrible job on my nails and wouldn't fix it trying to tell me they were supposed to look that way.(they had bubbles and acrylic stuff all under my nails and it was painful in the corners where it dried) So i told them i didn't need my toes done if thats how they wanted to be. so I went to Nails First and showed Mike my nails and he asked me if i had learned my lesson lol. so he redid my nails for FREE and honored my certificate for the pedicure. super nice people!!!
