I went here 2 weeks ago and the staff was very friendly. I got the gel nails and they came out extremely straight and very beautiful. I leave all of my things in the car that way I know not to carry things around with the wet fingernail polish on. They even had me pay before they painted my nails that way it would be easier. I was looking for a color that was like a dark maroon and when I picked out the Polish I thought it was it was the wrong color. The lady who was painting my nails offered to go pick the color out for me and when she did it came out to be the color I wanted. There are extremely helpful and like I said my nails came out great. I will be coming in later today to get them redone because now I want french tips! To the negative reviews on this place your complaints seem to be your fault. For example it's your fault that you didn't check the expiration date on the gift certificate. And it's your fault that you brought in a water bottle your purse your phone and all other kinds of stuff that you expected them to cater and carry for you when you should have left those items in the vehicle. Very sweet nail salon. They have some awesome techs! I had a terrible overlay done before I came and the tech allowed me to soak the nails off and he applied a brand new set, very sociable and made great eye contact. Although, I'd call and see if they were busy before just walking in, while they do accept walk-ins they are a very busy salon! Read Less

Other reviews said quick service.. which is fine but nail polish should not be rushed. That was the entire experience-rushed. when they "ordered" me to go dry my nails under the lamp they plopped my purse in my lap and walked away. I had to move the arm of the chair, carry my purse, phone and water bottle to the drying station by myself. Mind you, I have wet polish on my hands. Needless to say, I bumped the nail and they had to reapply. When they painted the fingernails they applied the layers of polish so quick that after one day it started to peel right off the nails. Never had this experience at any other salon but then again, they rush you through the process. They want everyone to buy gels so guess they don't care about the customers that want regular polish. I came into Purity Nails with my parents on a Saturday afternoon, and they treated us great! While they do offer walk-ins, I called ahead to schedule a same-day appointment to ensue all three of us could be taken care of at the same time. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and directed to select our polishes. They were able to immediately seat us in the pedicure chairs and have a staff member work on us right away.The staff was very friendly and attentive, checking in to make sure we got the manicures and pedicures we wanted. The pedicure was very typical to what you'd expect at any other nail salon, finished with hot towels wrapped around your shins. Tools they used were clean, and they had great attention to detail. I wasn't a fan of the massage chair, as it felt very weak and beeped every time I pressed a button. Wasn't awful, but I've experienced better.There's plenty of magazines to read and also a live television to watch while you are waiting (the local news was on when I was in). Purity Nails advertises their gift certificates, but those expire 6 months after purchase. If you end up getting one, I'd highly recommend paying very close attention to the expiration date!Their prices are great. They have three tiers of manicures and pedicures. At the lowest level, you can get a regular manicure for $12 and a spa pedicure for $22. I'm pretty sure there's a discount for the women's manicure and pedicure ($32 for the combo, but don't quote me on that). I only say that because a men's manicure and pedicure is $35, and the men's spa pedicure a la carte is $25 instead of $22 for women's. Good value, will return for nail services when I'm in town! This is a horrible place. My 5 year old daughter received a gift certificate for her birthday and we picked today for my Mother's Day pedicure and to redeem her gc. They get is started and begin on my daughter then come up to me with the gift certificate and a part torn off that shows it is expired. I was very angry because they started on my daughter before their detective work. They said they would do her nails but when she began crying they said they would do both nails and toes. It was not a full pedicure. So, the $27 her gift giver paid went straight to thei pockets. Buyer and customer beware. Their 6 month expiration appears to be a scam to steal people's money. Do not go here. Never. Do not buy gift certificates. Needless to say I walked out of my chair and did not get my Mother's Day pedicure. My daughter had to witness my argument with the owner/manager instead of having a special time with me. Read Less

Friendly and very helpful nail tech. She took her time and although it was after regular business hours she did not rush and my mani and pedi came out great. Haven't found a good nail shop until today....definitely will be visiting again! Read Less

I faithfully visit them every two weeks for my mani and pedi and sometimes eyebrow wax! It's such a great atmosphere! Very reasonable prices and never a long wait. I will definitely recommend this shop to everyone I know! Read Less

I would never go back. I had a gift certificate that expired 15 days prior. To be honest, I had never seen that it said "expires within six months" written in small script at the bottom of the paper. If anyone is in the service industry, it pays to work with your customers. Apparently, they couldn't do that and I will not go back. Also, most of the nail polish choices looked old.
