I wanted to like this place. I gave it two chances, but I don't plan on going back. It is certainly an aesthetically pleasing nail salon. But it is not a good place for a pedicure. Just know this will be fairly long review. The first time I went there, I actually left before I could get a pedi. It was mid afternoon on a Saturday and the place was crowded and there were several people waiting. That should have been a clue, but waiting a few minutes for a pedi isn't out of the ordinary. So I waited about 15 minutes in the waiting area before they pointed me to a chair in the back. So, I sit in the chair and NORMALLY someone is there to run the water to allow me to begin soaking my feet, even if they don't start on my feet right away. They left me there without running the water. So there is an empty, cold bowl and I wondered where I was supposed to put my feet while waiting. So I had to awkwardly prop my legs up on either side of the bowl because I was NOT putting my feet IN an empty bowl. I sat like that for 20-25 minutes. I don't know why I even waited that long. I think because I had a book and was reading before I realized how much time had elapsed. They all saw that there wasn't any water in the bowl, but no one stopped to fill it up and certainly didn't stop to talk to me. I slipped my shoes back on and walked out. No one stopped me and no one said a word. Strike one. My second time wasn't any better, though at least this time I actually received a pedi. I went back because it was late in the evening and I didn't think it would be as busy as it was the last time. But I left there feeling worse than I arrived. The young man who gave me a pedi was extremely rough and definitely not good at his job. He poked and scraped and dug all around my toenails and cuticles. Each time I would jerk my foot and would politely tell him that he was too rough and it hurt. He just looked at me. WTH? He didn't realize that he was pinching my skin when he was cutting my toenails. I had to put my hands over my foot to get him to stop. This dude was awful. He wasn't even watching what he was doing. He kept looking at the door while he was buffing my nails, never realizing that a few times he was buffing my "skin" and not my toes. Seriously?! I was uneasy and on edge the entire time. And then all of a sudden he starts painting my toenails. I said "hey, are you going to give a leg and foot massage?" He said "after". Wait, what? He QUICKLY (and I do mean quickly) paints my toenails and then goes to get a small cup of pink, warm liquid. It didn't feel like oil, more like cheap, watered-down lotion. He pours the "oil" directly on the front of my leg and I jumped because it was too hot! Dude! Are you serious right now?! His coworker yelled something to him, but it didn't matter. So I asked the coworker about the foot massage and he said they do it AFTER they paint the nails in order to allow the nails to dry. Whaaaaatt?! He asked if It was my first time there. Um, yeah and definitely my last. He seemed proud that they do it that way. It was THE WORST leg "massage" and pedi ever. If you want to call it a massage. He barely massaged my legs and feet and he definitely couldn't massage my toes because guess what...he'd already painted them. It was a $30 pedi! Way too much for the abuse I received. I normally walk out after a pedi feeling relaxed and my legs and feet feeling refreshed. Not this time!Yeah, yeah, I know...first world problems. I'm not hard to please, but I do have certain expectations when I'm paying $30 for a service that if done improperly could actually result in injury. Just know this...they paint your toes first and then massage after. Whoever heard of such a thing?! Read Less
