I was trying to find a shop that was open on a Sunday because I needed a pedi so bad. I called every place in town before 6. One guy told me they were closed at another shop and the others didnt answer. Nail boutique answer and the girl was really nice. I went there I was greeted and immediately helped. The lady did my pedi so nice. I wanted dipped nails the guy stayed to closed finishing my nails, he didn't rush to get home or anything, his wife went to publix and he stayed with me. Save your money and do your nails yourself instead of coming here. I believed the other reviews and felt cheated afterward. I went to get my nails done and everything seemed great while there. Sat for 20 minutes letting my nails dry in front of the fan, as well they used a "quick drying" spray, left didn't touch anything for over an hour. Then went home and looked at my nails and all of the paint on my fingernails had pulled up off of the corners and looked terrible! I went back and they very coldly said "you have gel?" I said no, regular but it was one of the premium manicures and she told me oh it will always do that right away unless you have gel. Well, why do they offer a $20 manicure that won't even last a day... I was very disappointed, and am hoping I can save someone who is looking for a new nail salon. Keep looking. Read Less

Okay, so I had previously left a 1 star rating for this salon, and my previous review of this place will be placed under in quotes. But, one of the managers reached out to me after my review and offered to refund my money or re-do me and my friend's gel manicures for free. They were super nice and apologetic when reaching out to me, so my friend and I decided to give them another chance. When we got there, they assured us that they do not want to disappoint us, and the two ladies who did our nails were super sweet and took their time to make sure that they did our nails well. The lady who did my nails even offered to do my eyebrows, and she did them so well! After being very disappointed with our first visit, our second visit definitely made up for it. For this, I'm changing my rating to 5 stars because I can tell that they truly care about the customer's experience. Our gel nails look great now! "My friend and I both got gel nails, and they left a ton of space between the nail polish and the cuticle, as well as not completely covering the white tip of the nail. We both complained saying that we wanted the gap filled in, my friend complaining once and me complaining twice about it, but they said the gap had to be there so "it doesn't change color" or "won't come off", but I've been to nail salons where they've gotten super close to the top. Finally! I am beyond thrilled to find a great nail salon in the Auburn/Opelika area! After going to several other salons and either leaving after a 15 minute shoddily done manicure or a rough, painful pedicure, I ventured to this place thanks to Yelp. How can you do a quality gel manicure in 15 minutes? You can't. Enter Nail Boutique & Spa. I walk in around 1:15 and had to wait a few minutes which is a good sign in my opinion. I picked my color and sat down with Linda. She took her time and was very precise in filing and buffing my short nails exactly how I like them. My cuticles grow so fast and some salons won't cut all of them off, leaving remnants. Not Linda! She got every last piece and even went back to trim a few strays after she finished. She painted two of my nails and decided the bottle was almost empty and that the color would not look right so she made two trips to bring back about 7 different options for me to choose from, applying each color to her own nails allowing me to see them. I've never had anyone else take the time to do that. Compared to gel manis that cost almost double, this ($28 plus tip) is one of the best I've had. I will definitely be back! Read Less

I was in Opelika for a workshop and decided to try this spa based on Yelp reviews. I was very impressed. Very clean with a health certificate of 100%. My nail tech was very sweet and professional. I got the Doterra pedicure. Pedicure followed by a calf/foot massage using your choice of Doterra oil. Love that they use Doterra products. Cost was$25 but worth every penny!  I will be back! Walking in to this place, it looks beautiful. I was not happy with my experience here. The lady that did my shellac manicure was very distracted... She kept looking around everywhere, instead of at my nails. She didn't put cuticle oil on, which every other place I've been to always does. Then she carried on an entire conversation with the lady next to her in another language for a good 10-15 minutes, while myself and the other client were ignored. Awkward? Yes. I've been coming here for almost 2yrs now and I love this place compared to many nail places I've gone to, it's big, clean with plenty of tables and chairs available! Always busy so booking is great idea if you come in later in the day. Prices are priced right! I absolutely LOVE my nail lady I have been seeing, she's very good at doing my nails every time! I took my daughter with me for my 51st birthday. It was our first time there. We were greeted quickly and the salon is beautiful. Wonderful ambience, nice and relaxing. My daughter and I sat down at the same time and her classic pedicure was at least 30 minutes and perfect. Mine, however was about 20 minutes, I got a very distracted employee. She even got up twice to do something else I felt rushed. One of my toenails (the big toe) was cut horribly crooked. I will try them again but will choose a different employee. Read Less

This is the BEST Nail Salon I have been to! I love the staff here.  Very nice.  I have not ever had a bad pedicure or manicure.  I once messed up two nails 3-4 hours on the same day, went back to the salon and the repolished the nails for free.  Great Salon, could not ask for better prices and for the excellent quality it is more than worth the prices they offer (which is relatively inexpensive) I mean this honestly!  I have tried 5 different salons in Auburn, this is the only one I will go to now! In reference to Peggy D's review-- I have acrylic nails removed and placed on with these people on a regular basis and they always soak the nails and it has never been painful.  Her review belongs somewhere else! I have recently moved to Birmingham but always make a point to come to this salon to get my nails and toes done whenever I'm in auburn! They are so efficient and are always so good at every service. My pedicures always feel amazing and I love the hot towels and leg massages they give with them. The basic manicures they give are great as well as gel manicures. I was a satisfied regular customer until I asked to have acrylic nails removed prior to replacing with gels. Previously I needed a certain color to match the dress for my son's wedding, and I was told I would need to do the acrylics in order to get this specific color. When I returned a few weeks later to have the acrylics removed, I was assigned a certain lady who practically RIPPED my nails off. I thought this odd as she began and asked her why she wasn't soaking them first. She replied "no- we do this way. It best". It was actually painful and I could kick myself for putting up with it. After I talked to another salon about what she did, they told me to run away from a place that would do this. They should ALWAYS soak the nails to remove the acrylic material. Not only was it painful, but my real nails were damaged badly, and it took months to repair/regrow. In addition to this terrible experience, they insist on talking in their native language so of course you have no idea what they are saying. Very uncomfortable. There should be a rule/law that prohibits this. Foreign business owners and their employees should be required to speak in English at all times. It's just rude and insensitive when they talk amongst themselves in Korean or whatever it is. It's a real shame I won't be returning to Nail Boutique Spa as it is very close to my home in the Moores Mill area and was very convenient. Read Less

This is the only place I get a pedicure in Auburn. I'm encouraged every time I go there and see that their equipment is taken from an autoclave and opened right before it is used. Drastically reduces the odds of taking some germs home. Some of the ladies are better than others but overall, they are an efficient group. They are always busy but they also seem to move people through rather quickly. I;ve never had a manicure there (only because I care less about my finger nails) but they have three price options for the pedicures. I think it is pretty inexpensive considering all you get (the cheapest option is less than $20). Very highly recommended. Read Less
