I usually get SNS on my nails once a month because it's a quality service & lasts 3-4 weeks. I was passing through Athens & decided to stop to get my nails done. During the dip process something did not feel right. They were doing it different than any of the times I've had it before (which is a lot) & said something to the guy doing my nails. He kept repeating, no this is how to do SNS & I kept saying, I've never had it done this way.. he kept drilling my nails down & not coating the powder as often as I'm used to. I paid $50 for a bad job & they wouldn't listen to what I wanted. The very next day my nails chipped!!! I'm a week out from getting this poor SNS service & half of all the polish is chipped away. I have always loved SNS bc it lasts weeks & never chips. I believe this was just a lack of knowing how to apply the SNS bc it should not be coming off a day after application. Read Less

There is no state board of cosmetology rating posted anywhere. I had to demand sanitizer be put in the pedicure chair. All nail implements were very dirty. When the lady done my nails, I said no, did you use these implements on the last person? Suddenly she can't speak English. She then picked up a pre used file. A disposable one that's supposed to be thrown away after each client. I told her NO. She wasn't using dirty implements on me. She acted dumb. I then told her I'm a licensed cosmetologist and licensed to do nails and pedicures. Told her I knew the cosmetology laws. She then got clean implements. I told her I don't want fungus. She proceeded to tell me fungus only comes from water getting under the nail. I told her true, but it's also spread from person to person using dirty implements. I can't figure out how this place passes inspection. They even have the "cheese graters" used on rough heels in the pedicures. They have been banned by AL state Board of Cosmetology. I had to give one star to even post this, but they deserve to be shut down. Their implements were caked up and the guy went to get lotion in a bowl that had dried up lotion of different colors. My rating is thumbs down, unprofessional, not sanitary and just gross. If you want a good place, go to Fancy Nails. They take their implements out of the dry sanitizer for each client and their implements are also in barbacide. Read Less

Awful experience. No sanitation whatsoever! I have no clue how they pass state board! Nails are not even, and they are not pretty at all! Do not go here! They do not listen to you whatsoever and are very very rude.Read Less

I've gone to this place two times now, one was last year ( September 2012) and got acrylic nails on my hands and feet. They did a good job. So I had a special occasion coming up so I went back to them to get my nails done again( June '13) . Less then a week later my nails are falling off, you can see where the glue wasn't put on right. I went back and told them, they offered to redue them as my nails weren't "used" to acrylics. Read Less
