Would never go back here my acrylics are lumpy and my white tips were all uneven. I hate complaining but I was going on holiday and needed them fixed. When I asked politely for the lady to re-do the white tips (to be honest the whole infills needed doing again but I didn’t have enough time) she made it clear she was not impressed. She didnt apologise and couldnt get me out of there fast enough. Top it all off they charge the most in York for a full set, and don’t tell you til it’s too late that they charge £2 for paying on your card so I paid £42 for a full set of nails that a child could have done better.

My 100% trust goes into this nail salon they are friendly and polite always make sure ur happy they give u time to choose ur colour and make sure ur happy with it b4 they continue. This nail salon also does lash extensions and bikini lines there is also the massage chair yes it is £25 to use the massage chair but while ur on the chair u get a pedicure and skin taking off the bottom of ur feet which is amazing by the way! Moon the manager is an amazing person she is the 1 who overlooks it all and makes sure ur comfortable and that your happy with ur choose so 200+% id reccommend this nail bar for all ur nail needs and dont forget about the lashes n bikini line removing thanks for reading now go check this place out xxx

Owners would prefer to be paid by cash as they don’t like to charge extra on card payment
This is something out of their control..
If not sure about payment call them before hand and find out best payment for yourself
Can’t recommend USA NAILS enough would never go anywhere else

-very rushed job, no conversation to clients too busy talking amongst themselves
-£2 charges for paying by card which card charges were banned as of January 2018 so this needs addressing
-the salon is clean and great variety of colours
-the staff need to be more gentle as many a time they have cut my fingers bring too rough
-price seems to change month by month

Very rude, they rush as well. they charge £2 on top if you pay by card. She didn't tell me how long I need to dry my nails, just stood up and walked away, I had to come back because as soon as I walked out and I put my hand in my bag the nails got all smudged. They said I should've been more careful and didn't dry them long! For £25 acrylics they look like £1 stick on.
Won't be coming back

The shop isn’t very nice, or clean, workers spoke to one another the whole time rather than attempting to converse with clients. They had a very limited number of nail polishes, which I didn’t like really any of. The colour wheel didn’t match the colours they had, I asked for one colour I got another. The polish chipped, the acrylic had lifted from my actual nail after a few days, the length of the nails weren’t consistent and neither were the shape. They just didn’t look very nice at all and I didn’t enjoy the experience.

I’ve had my nails done twice at this one and both times my nails have either snapped or fallen off with in a week. I would advise Hollywood not here

Had shellac nails done, very quick and neat. I would recommend booking if you don't want to wait, also bring cash as there's a charge for cards. Lots of colours to choose from

Came in with half done awful awful nails which I had done by another nail salon in York, (which I had to walk out from), and was seated straight away. The manager and I spoke through what was wrong and how they were going to fix them and what I would like done to them after the horrible ones had been removed. So professional and thorough and have ended up with the most beautiful nails, can't thank them enough! wouldn't go anywhere else now! Before and after pictures below.

I had a gel polish on the 25th of July and was so impressed with the quality of the work. The lady was so precise and did a fabulous job on them - so fabulous, in fact, that today (2 weeks later) the polish is still perfect with no sign of lifting. I will be coming back for my wedding nails in a few weeks, see you soon!

Had my nails done here today for the 1st time n my nails r shocking. There wonky, one hands shorter than the other and to of my fingers are sore where they was filed on the side to much. I showed them a pik several times of what I wanted ( there nothing like wat I asked for). I mentioned my wonky nails to the guy who put them on he ether choose to ignore or didn't hear me as said nothing. I'm left with a poor lookin nails and having to pay agen for them fixed.

I went in today and was fitted in straight away, no waiting time at all. The team understood exactly what I wanted - I had just some simple gel overlays as I find my nails break very easily. Because I have several special occasions coming up, I wanted to have hands which looked elegant. The whole process was quick, and I'm pleased with how natural they look and feel. Nice experience, I will come back in a few weeks for infills and maybe dare to try a colour!

I had my first pedicure here today and have to say it was the best one I've had! The water was lovely and warm,the massage chair was amazing and they got rid of my hard skin with a blade which you never get at other salons. My gel polish is amazing and don't mind paying extra for it. Will definitely be coming back for my feet doing again! Thank you

1 star is the lowest I can give but if I could I wouldn't give them any. The staff don't speak English so it's difficult to communicate what you would like doing and also not to pull you across the table because they can't give you instructions.
They claim you get 30% off after 6 sessions but I was never given this. I had to pay £2 for a nail which they didn't fix properly.
Best avoided.

Absolutely appalling. Took a friend for her nails done having previously bought her a £25 voucher for her birthday. We rang up and booked a 'shellac treatment' which costs 18 pounds. After having the treatment they made out we had something different and didn't even give us the change back.
We were planning on coming back but after this, we recommend people look elsewhere in York if they wish to not be taken advantage of.

Would never go back here my acrylics are lumpy and my white tips were all uneven. I hate complaining but I was going on holiday and needed them fixed. When I asked politely for the lady to re-do the white tips (to be honest the whole infills needed doing again but I didn’t have enough time) she made it clear she was not impressed. She didnt apologise and couldnt get me out of there fast enough. The shop isn’t very nice, or clean, workers spoke to one another the whole time rather than attempting to converse with clients. Came in with half done awful awful nails which I had done by another nail salon in York, (which I had to walk out from), and was seated straight away. The manager and I spoke through what was wrong and how they were going to fix them and what I would like done to them after the horrible ones had been removed. So professional and thorough and have ended up with the most beautiful nails, can't thank them enough! wouldn't go anywhere else now! Before and after pictures below.

I had a gel polish on the 25th of July and was so impressed with the quality of the work. The lady was so precise and did a fabulous job on them - so fabulous, in fact, that today (2 weeks later) the polish is still perfect with no sign of lifting. I will be coming back for my wedding nails in a few weeks, see you soon!

I went in today and was fitted in straight away, no waiting time at all. The team understood exactly what I wanted - I had just some simple gel overlays as I find my nails break very easily. I had my first pedicure here today and have to say it was the best one I've had! The water was lovely and warm,the massage chair was amazing and they got rid of my hard skin with a blade which you never get at other salons. My gel polish is amazing and don't mind paying extra for it. Will definitely be coming back for my feet doing again! Thank you
