I will not be returning. I received an gift card and decided to give them a try. First I found them to be VERY unprofessional. Their were too many personal comments and conversations. Second my nail were AWFUL! I asked for a new set. They were lumpy and bumpy and down rite awful. ... The very next free moment I had I went and had them redone. Terrible service. Went in for a gel fill-in, my friend came in for the same thing. We were seen to pretty quickly, to their credit. But maybe if they hadn't been so focused on being speedy then this would be a better review. My manicure took half the time of my friend's, and is shockingly bad! To list only a few of the problems, the nails are filed unevenly, they are all different shapes. They are fat and thin, longer and shorter, pointier and stubbier. The person who was doing my manicure didn't even check the nails against each other as they were going. One is even wonky off my finger! The paint is bubbled and there are sections where the paint is see-through and the nail underneath is visable. These were the immediate problems that were obvious to begin with. But I didn't want to make a fuss, so I thought that I'd live with it, it's only because I'd noticed and looked at them that they look bad, I reasoned, so I left it. Fast forward to the next day, already, after having done nothing that could provoke it, the paint is chipping and the actual false nail is lifting up from the base of my nail, where the join is very visable. A couple of more days, the chips are getting worse, and I now have a scratch down the centre of my thumb that is quite deep, just from general every day life! My friend pointed out that the person who did my nails didn't bother applying a strengthening paint over the top, so that is probably why. Her nails are perfect and lovely, no deterioration in any way. That just shows the difference in our experiences. I then went in again, saying I was not happy and showing the gentleman my nails, and he said that it's probably just wear and tear and that the nails weren't so different. On the point of wear and tear, I've had false nails for about a year now, and have them done every 3-4 weeks, as that is as often as I need to as they are usually fine, don't chip even if I hit my hand against a brick wall, and always last that long if done properly! He then asked I wanted to make an appointment for later to re-paint them? Initially I said yes, but then realised that he didn't offer any compensation what-so-ever, despite having the evidence of the failure of the manicure in front of him. Will not be going back and will find another nail bar who actually care about their customers and don't do a substandard job and think that that is sufficient. I'd like to rate it 3.5 but I can't do that so.......anyway, I liked the dip nail polish (like gel, only it lasts longer apparently), the competent staff and the friendly girl on the reception desk. I liked the foot massage and location. What I didn't like so much was this is the first salon I've been to without massage chairs. Just really upright couch seating which isn't very comfortable. Also, the milk and lime foot soak was forgotten in the pedicure despite my gentle reminder. So a few little things to work on, but this place is close to my apartment so I expect I will go again. I paid $115 for a powder-dip manicure and a gel pedicure with scrub, lotion and lower leg massage, which is kind of high compared to other places I suppose, but this is near the Galleria so it's not that much higher comparatively. Highly recommend the Nail Salon - extremely efficient/friendly and helpful members of staff/the team - They all bend over backwards to accommodate 'my problem nails' and due to med probs that affected my nails it has been a god send finding people who can do my nails and get them to last for a long time - Other Nail salons do not like doing my nails and make it clear 'I am an interruption in their day to day routine' - yet this Nail salon are absolutely fantastic and always want to help in every and any which way they can - Very very kind and caring and ALWAYS put the client/customer first - They are always very busy which highlights they have a fantastic reputation - You can either book for an appt or just walk in - you may have to wait - but that is to be expected in this industry I guess - and the results are well worth the wait - Lovely lovely team and can only recommend too highly - A****************!! - Prices also very good - and slightly below the normal average one may pay elsewhere! - Gold start all around! Been coming here for 18 months & wouldn't go any where else. Each member of staff are excellent & make you feel welcome. Don't need an appointment but do have to wait upto 20 minutes on their busy days, which shows how popular they are!! Highly recommended at good prices. Read Less

On a girl's trip to Houston, the three of us wanted to have some relaxation time and get pampered. We went to Fizz and LOVED our experience there! Not only is the staff incredibly friendly, but we all look great - we got gel manicures and pedicures as well. I highly recommend it - we have nothing but good things to say!
