All of the hair care products sold at Kateson Beauty Centre come with instructions for the customer to read. At Kateson Beauty Centre we would suggest that if you do not understand the instructions for use then please do not administer the product by yourself go back to the shop and ask for help they will be willing to talk you through it or show you how to apply the product rather than giving misleading messages to the public. I bought a wig from Katesons a couple of weeks ago. While I was in the shop, staff were quite rude and impatient as I was trying on various styles. I spent £65 on a wig. After 1 week, the ends became very matted and frayed. I tried all the advice on google but nothing worked. I had to cut an inch or two off it to make it look real again. Now, after another week the same has happened again! I am going to have to cut it again, but it's just getting shorter and shorter destroying the whole point of it. I'm not impressed.. Spending £65 on a wig that I have had to chop after a week! Poor poor quality, I'm absolutely gutted after spending so much money. Read Less

At first glance was really happy with how my nails looked. Since getting home have noticed that a few of the pink sparkly extensions I had put on as gel extensions aren't fully pink and the colour had obviously chipped off before the gel was put on. All my nails are different shapes and cut at an angle some of which are quite sharp. Also some of the extension were put down too low so that you can see my own tips Bit disappointed as it seemed a good job at first. Cant fault the eyebrow thread though. Just makes me wonder how many of the staff are qualified in beauty therapy as there is only one certificate on show. Bit of a shame seeing as i sat patiently for two hours having them done. One of the best salon i ever had, very attentive and helpful. I got the awesome service from lina like my facial my back massage my haircut my pedicure without any complain . **WARNING** approach the shop with care, the manager is obnoxious,sarcastic and very patronizing!! A problem had occurred with a friends nails, she had called the manager who at that point was helping and apologetic, so my friend went in to get her nails rectified and because my friend put honest feedback on the shops web page the manager said she couldn't do my friends nails, instead of resolving the problem a full blown argument took place in the shop with customers inside. Absolutely awful service. Me and my daughter went to the Brunel salon today, the place was empty and so we asked if they were free to do our acrylics, they said yes and so they began. After a while the shop started filling up and so the lady that was doing my nails was up and down doing peoples eyebrows. This went on for ages, eventually after 2 hours our nails were done, my daughter had hers painted and we were told they were all done, after leaving the shop all the nail varnish came off. We went back and were given the £5 it cost to paint them back. We are now home and every one of my acrylics is coming off. Absolutely terrible. Does anyone know how I go about making a formal complaint please? Read Less
